History In Pictures

You shouldn't complain you didn't pay for it. If you go into a restaurant and can find only one item you like. Do you complain to the manager how bad the other items are. Enjoy the photos you like

App features less pictures than i would like. Many of the pictures dont even have a description, they just say the date and im assuming the photogrophers name? I think it could use some work.

I enjoy the plethora of photos that are stockpile. I would like more photos added more frequently. However I can't complain because this app was free. Good job.

Pretty cool but not enough if you like history....I don't like how its organized

Enjoy looking at pictures many different subjects. Give it a try, I did, and check it out a few times a month.

First entry of this app celebrates UKs 'independent spirit' in 'succeeding' from the EU. Aside from illiteracy, this headline shows either careless lack of sensitivity for those of us who are deeply aggrieved by Brexit or gloating partisanship. Either way, it is not in the unbiased spirit of scholarly interest that real history should be about.

I wouldn't use a picture of a hateful racist as the main picture. John Wilkes Booth is an american hero while Lincoln got exactly what he deserved. Only unfortunate part is ol' abe didn't suffer more...

I haven't had it long but so far I like it. I just wish the widget was different. Based on my own personal research, Abraham Lincoln was a monster.

One of the worst things we can do as a society is to not pass down or teach history. This app is great for bringing image to imagination.

I always look forward to opening the History in Pictures app! I really like reading the short descriptions that accompany the photos too. It allows you to learn as well as enjoy history. There are new and interesting pics almost everyday with plenty of previously posted ones to review!

This excellent app consolidates historical photo feeds from several sources. This occasionally results in duplicate photos, but not too often. A must have for any history or photo buff!

im not really impressed. not really special or interesting stuff some wrong information .frouzan the persian actress you say and than you call her one of arabs . quit stupid though iran is not an arab country. its a persian race and culture. so i guess now you ve learned something from me. pls do change that. its quit a big mistake . like when you call americans russians. its that big difference.

Love this app! Updates with lots of old pictures which would be hard to find I imagine. Great app especially for history buffs!

Great app. Includes some wonderful shots. Most eye opening are the ones that compare vintage and current images of a particular landscape. Would like to see more images of Asia and the subcontinent.
