上海音像资料馆暨上海广播电视台（上海东方传媒集团有限公司）媒体内容资产管理中心是全国首家对广播电视节目进行集中管理的专业机构，也是上海市的专业音像档案资料馆。上海音像资料馆管理着SMG旗下所有电视频道和广播频率的广播电视节目档案，包括上海人民广播电台1949年开播以来和上海电视台1958年建台以来各类广播电视音像资料。同时，上海音像资料馆积极构建覆盖全球的采集网络，广泛采集各类珍贵历史音像资料，内容涵盖国内、国际重大历史事件、著名历史人物和重要历史人文景观。
