EM:RAP for Emergency Medicine

Firstly, this is a review of the app not the service (which is amazing). Unfortunately the app falls short on a lot of features found on most podcast apps. If I stop an episode and try to pick it up the next day, it doesn't remember where I left off. No auto-download of new episodes or data management. When I do download a show, it shows "0.00 bytes downloaded'. It inconsistently marks what episodes I have watched. When listening to a series, it will start the next episode somewhere in the middle every time

Great content and resource, but the app is poor. Sometimes starts playing 10-15 seconds into episode, irregular with showing episode as played on not, doesn't delete previously downloaded content. I have to restart phone to get background app to close. Love the content. App is poor and not improved despite bad reviews.

The rating is for the app, not the content. The app always crashes and is never stable. Please fix this for android.

App consistently crashes after opening. I was previously able to use the app with no issues, but maybe the most recent update messed it up?

What more needs to be said. Start here, then weave your way through the literature as guided by their supremely edifying discussions. The C3 and shorts double down on the already excellent content.

Love this app. However big bug is that despite saying that content is downloaded to removable storage, it actually keeps it all on local storage...

I am using this on the Google pixel. I have noticed that despite downloading being turned off when on cellular data, this app has the highest data usage of all of my apps. I have not used it in the last 7 days, and yet nearly a hundred megabytes have been downloaded.

It works! However, I've still reverted to using PocketCasts for now. Why? Better resuming of where I left off. When I open the EM:RAP app I have to wade through episodes, then pick the correct chapter from the correct episode to get back to the spot I last listened to. Fix this and your app would be non-inferior for my particular usage. Want to be superior? Add a bookmarking feature that allows me to highlight audio clips to which I can later review and add notes. A more attainable goal? In-app CME quizzes.

Update: Still wont work without re-downloading every time I use it on Note 5. EM:RAP is great, but the app is not working. Whenever I try to access the current episode, it crashes. The problem resolves when I uninstall and reinstall the app until the next time the app closes, then the same issue. I was unable to find any other way to report this problem other than a poor review. Please fix this!

This app crashes a lot mid podcast. there should also be a feature that allows you to increase playback speed

Crappie functionality. Monthly crash, uninstall, reinstall required...6 months later still no better.......another couple months and seems to be getting worse. Looking for the negative numbers button.

Actually the app isn't THAT bad, but it keeps crashing on me! Needs to be improved so can access the excellent content. After the new update literally can't even open a single episode

I love emrap but this app is horrible, it keeps crashing even if I uninstall it or restart my phone. It's so frustrating to not be able to enjoy the great emrap material

App will force close even after multiple reinstalls. Many people with similar problems. Fix this and will revise rating. As for now, worthless to even attempt install.

Worked for a day, but now crashes when I try to open it. Problem has persisted despite resetting phone and reinstalling app. I'm a current EM:RAP subscriber, using Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on Android 5.1.1. Obviously the educational content is spectacular, but the app is currently nonfunctional for me.

The app opens fine, however, when I try to download the episode to listen to, the app crashes. I was doing just fine with downloading until I renewed and decided not to get the CD. Now I can't listen at all.

The app is ok when it works, but it repeatedly crashes. The next month's episode also will not show up for download no matter how many times I refresh it. It is available via my normal Podcast app though. The only way I can get new episodes to show it is to uninstall and reinstall the app. Its REALLY frustrating. Marshmallow update: I often now can't even get the app to open.

Was working great but recently crash on me and cannot listen to anything
