100% Army Fit for Android
I have been using this App for 1 month now and I find it really useful. I am a runner and wanted a decent programme for strength and conditioning and this fits the bill perfectly without causing injury. The cardio section is particularly good as it taps into my running interests. I have already noticed my times coming down and more defined muscle in my quads already. I love the effective simplicity of the exercises and deffo feel the burn! 10/10
I really love this app in so many ways... Great set of exercises, practical and motivating. I love that you don't need any equipment. However, going up one level you're meant to go from 3 sets of 10 press ups to 4 sets of 15!!! This was too demotivating for me after months of hard work so after several weeks of trying it became too much. Really sad
The app is a great idea and is the thing i have been looking for to help me get fitter. The exercises are really good as well and will leave you feeling brilliant about yourself. The fact that the audio us telling when to go up and down puts you in a rythm and stops you from quittinf. Really good exercise tool.
I like it, the slow controlled manner of the muscular exercises makes them pretty tough, however there doesn't seem to be any way of running at the proposed levels as I've no idea what 2/10 or 6/10 actually means. (unless i'm missing something). The reps jump up quite a bit from level3 to level4 so whilst it's all nearly completed you may be stuck on one exercise for a while. All in all though enjoying the interface and progressing through it. * being able to skip the warm up would be nice too as not completing it on gps doesn't seem to negatively impact on the result.*
I downloaded this app to prepare myself for the challenges that lay ahead in the British Army. I use it whilst in the gym and my overall fitness had a massive impact. My CV fitness is improved and it had a massive impact on my endurance and strength. Thank you!
It's a good app but it could be improved with how exercises get more difficult. To progress to a harder routine you need to complete every exercise to move on. I find this slightly annoying as I am far better at some exercises than others and this leads to a situation where the app doesn't make one exercise more difficult all because there is a physically unrelated exercise I am yet to complete. There is also a mismatch between the number of reps the audio says and what the app requires you to do occasionally.
Great app, gives you a schedule to keep up with and breaks the exercises down i am using this to build my fitness to join the army. I would like an option to add your own exercise as i take classes at the gym and can't currently record this which means i can't fully follow the schedule it has given me
Very motivational, no adverts, not patronising, no annoying American accents. I wonder if the GPS is working okay because I apparently did a very good distance on my third run - if there is an issue it's probably with my phone. Thanks!!!
It simply wouldn't open after the initial set up. This is most upsetting considering the huge data cost of downloading the app.
Thank you for the recent update to support modern devices :) I was looking for an app to help improve my fitness, but didn't want some app by a random student trying to make a bit of money from their bedroom. Then I found this app from the Army and I knew it would be quality. The videos and audio are spot on for training and technique, audio cues for intervals and distance are a good help as well. Since using this app the past 4 months or so, I've lost 2st and can run 5k instead of 5m.
Currently joining as a reserve soldier and this app is great for tracking progress and the GPS and time record for the 1.5 mile run is just what I wanted to help aim for my running time. Whether your joining the army or want a fitness app then this is perfect, I recommend the warm ups and stretches before exercise.
If there could be a way to save your runs if u accidentally close the app...was on my last 15 or so minutes on interval running and it accidentally closed...
Helped me get out of Boredom, Depression, Sedentary lifestyle and got me up and running on my feet. Simple, Amazing, Effective. Army Style.
Really liked using this app. It has helped me alot in terms of preparing myself in joining the Army and most importantly being #Physically_Fit. Thank You Army Fit
Best app I have ever download. It will help me develop skills that will help me joining the Army. Thank you. :)
But after using it for a week the audio suddenly went off.... How can I fix it.
This app uses circuit training and high reps for muscle strength, endurance and cardio all in one. It has all the standard bodyweight exercises but is missing the most important . The pull-up. This exercise is essential for military training as it targets the entire upper body, lats, back, shoulders, biceps triceps and abs.
The sets and reps counters have stopped working. Worked perfectly first time. Everyone since the counters have just been blank.
After I downloaded the app and set it up, it just closed and it has been that way since. Anytime I open it, it just closes after loading the 100%.
This app is great. But the warm up and cool down videos seem to be broken. They consistently restart after the first few exercises.
Very challenging at first but then eventually will get used to it
But still never sure of when the switch my level up higher i started about 3months ago and am still in level 3...i think software should also have a wake up alarm
I love it. It's not perfect, but it's practical. A reflection of life. Put in the work u see the rewards. Period.
This app is really good but as a late teen-ager I do more daily exercises than there are exercises on the app! They need to add pull ups, chin ups, dips, muscle ups, dumbbell exercises, etc...
But i cannot do all the exwrcise in one day i paused in every exercise one set & tomorrow when i try to do it again it again starts from beginning please fixed this . Thank You !
I hadn't trained in 20 years but found this app to be very rewarding as it achieves results quickly. Well done
Its main flaw is it makes too large jumps in muscle work out so you cannot keep up and there's no option to space out you work out; I can do 100 press ups but not in one go
I'd increase the reps of all leg workouts (they are the same amount of arm workouts) It is an excellent app
Don't rate apps usually. But best personal fitness trainer app I am aware of. Some chunks but by far the best.
Overall a very good app! but it would be good if you knew the days you should exercise in advance so you can plan your week ahead.
I enjoy using this with support and advice. Cheaper than paying for circuits etc although intermediate a bit basic to start off... Gotta start somewhere
-Sets goals and creates a pseudo schedule for you to follow. -All exercises are body weight and have instructional videos on how to do all of them. -selecting a combination of three or four exercises from this app for a session WILL make you sweat. -I do not give it the last star as it does not effectively targets biceps, recommend you get dumbbells
Motivated on sets but not running I had my headphones in for 40mins and I heard 5 sentences I had to check my phone to see if it was still on .. More motivation for running and options to skip rest would give you 5*
I downloaded this to help get fit for the military, plus just to be in good shape in general. As recently, I had let myself go and gained 15 pounds, now I'm doing this daily, lost the weight, and am doing it with a couple of my friends who also want to join the military. The demonstrations are great and very clear, easy to follow, and I love being able to see myself progress and earn medals. This is one of, if not the best exercising apps out there, I just wish I could give it a higher rating.
Got it for my s6 edge and works fine let's see how it goes
Got this to improve my general health to go in the army this year ..
This is very good fitness app if you are going in the British army you need to get your fitness levels up for the assessment centre and for the start of phase 1 training and Phase 2 and this app will help you achieve it.
This is a great app, worth downloading and practicing every day...
Sadly no Nexus 6 :C , I hope they're gonna make one !

Exercises and levels are challenging and it's easy to use. Although it's an army recruitment app is actually focused on demonstrating good training techniques. The video explanations are very informative. Would be more convenient have seek bar / navigation in the video so you can go back or skip forward in a video. The size of the app is also huge but I assume this is due to the videos. *edited* previous comment regarded KitKat crashes, this is no longer an issue
