✓ Humor: The humor in the broadest sense, is a form of mocking spirit "that attaches to highlight the comic character, ridiculous, absurd or unusual aspects of reality."

It is a language, but also a means of expression. Humor can be used for different purposes and can for example be educational or activist. His form more than its definition, is variously estimated from one culture to another, from one region to another, from one perspective to another, so much so that what is seen by some as humor, may be considered by others as an evil mockery or insult.

Humor allows Man to step back on what he saw, "laugh to keep from crying." More pessimistic, Nietzsche says "Man suffers so deeply that he had to invent laughter", approaching the cynicism.

✓ Joke: A joke is staged in the form of story or riddle, usually short enough, triggering laughter. It also may not trigger if it happens to be of low quality (see carambar joke). Word games and puns are considered jokes.
