Gun Vault Pro

I had followed the instructions on backing up & restoring...it didn't work. Had to factory reset my phone after update, and when I tried restoring gun vault pro....nothing worked. Contacted support...got auto response, which was no help. Very disappointing.

After years of trying to get some seemingly simple updates to the app and continually getting the same blow-off, I found another app that does the same functions essentially, yet here there is an open channel of communication with the developer and many of my suggestions have already been implemented within weeks vice years of waiting. Am now deleting this app!

I wanted to like this app but it is so sluggish. After using it for a few days I switched to NM Collector desktop version and app. It's a bit more expensive yet well worth the additional cost if you are serious about maintaining a comprehensive firearms inventory.

All but impossible to edit data worst part of the program don't waste your money or time if you want something to track your ammunition extremely difficult to work with does not cover anything for handloading

For those that need to re-enter information when upgrading phones: You shouldn't have to. If you use a file manager and look in the internal storage, you'll fund a folder named GunVault. Just zip that folder and email it to yourself or connect your phone to a pc, copy the folder to the pc then over to your new phone. The developer says it saves to the sd card but it didn't for me. I have changed phone numerous times and never lost any data.

This app seems to meet all my needs so far, a must have for any gun enthusiast. Props to the developers, keep up the good work.

Seems great, but after loading all of my guns my phone crashed and I was unable to get any of the Data back.

Love the app but i lose my data everytime i change phones or have to reset my phone just wish there was a log in so that way it would save

Nice. Real easy to use. Round count, last fired, and last cleaned is a great feature.

Have add the app for several years and have uncovered an issue with. I have reported several times at their website as instructed, the sad part for over 2 years I have gotten the same results. Over half the ammo that I have listed has a quantity left of zero. There is no way I have found to get rid of ammo that has zero stock, even if I were to sell a weapon, I couldn't get rid of it. Twice by email during two years the authors of this app have had no time to fix it, yet they continue to put out updates

The idea for the app is great however there are three major issues that I've seen and have emailed the developer about several times without any response. The law section for nevada us severely out dated, the app only works in portrait mode limiting tablets and large phone keyboard AND NRA news is fubar!

Must have app for gun owners. If it only had cloud storage so it could be picked up by multiple devices.

I have quite a large collection of firearms I've aquired over the years and Gun Vault has been a fantastic tool for helping me keep tabs on all of them and store important data. This is also important for insurance purposes. Easy to use and a great piece of software. Well done.

Awesome! This app really is a must have for any gun owner! Safe and secure. Got my Gun Vault loaded up with a large amount firearms and it really helps me keep track of all of them. Great features and great work!

Great app, has everything you need. I like that it has a way to track rounds fired. The only thing that i would add is canadian gun laws by province.

When I updated phone lost all information had entered.

Would be nice to have a help section in case of, (forgot password.)

This is a great app just one suggestion would be to make an option to put guns you have sold on a separate tab of your vault you should always have paperwork but if so some reason you cannot access it could be useful thank you for making a great app.

Would be a great app if it had a backup and restore feature it's a pain to have have to re-enterer all the info when you change phones.

This is a great app but I would like to see an import button. I got a new phone and transfered my files liked the note said to do but my files won't populate into the app. I just hope Customer support can help...it would take a couple hours to re-input all my guns.

The pro version needs the NRA news feed fixed. Every thing else works well.

Trying to export and print my lists, keep force closing app. Great Theory behind the app, love the ammo list in the pro version.

Bought this App to keep track of what I have in Inventory (both weapons and ammunition). When loading new weapons or in edit mode on an existing one, a "Next Button" should be added to get down to the save screen. With my phone, the text entry section at the bottom of the screen prevents the App from scrolling down to the bottom. I need to hit the "Enter" button a number of times before the "Save" icon appears.

This app seems to meet all my needs so far, a must have for any gun enthusiast. Props to the developers, keep up the good work.

1) Incorporate reloading supplies. Powder, shells, primers, bullets. 2) for the ammo; include barcode reader when adding different ammo.

Excellent app, every firearm owner should have this app

Excellent application. However it would be nice if it had a section for permits and memberships with a reminder function. Then I would give it 5 stars.

Database itself is fine, with a great selection of fields and datatypes. Links to gun laws, etc are handy. However, that it only runs in portrait mode makes it a real pain to use with a keyboard on a tablet. I can't give it a higher rating until the software integrates with the OS as it should.

This works great for keeping a record of your firearms and serial numbers.

Saved me alot of time! Very easy to use.. highly recommended !!!
