If you own a firearm then you need Gun Vault! Keep tabs on all of the firearms in your collection. Gun Vault allows you to save two pictures along with the serial number and other detailed stats and specs on your investments. This is great for insurance purposes, buying and selling, tracking data and just showing that precious new rifle off to your buddies! Gun Vault can even be used for paintball and airsoft guns!

*Tips:*
•In order to activate the lock you need to go to the Gun Vault menu and (depending on your device) you need to tap the gold lock symbol in the top right of the menu or if your device has the drop down menu instead, you will need to click the option that says “Lock Settings”.
•You can rearrange your firearms list by taping and holding on a firearm to select it and then tapping and holding on another firearm to move it above, move it below or have them swap places.
•The "Additional Info" section is a great place to hold information that is not specifically asked for, such as the price, trigger type, etc.
•The "Attachments" section and the "Additional Info" section become scrollable if a lot of text is entered.
•Gun Vault saves all of your Vault data to your devices SD card (or internal SD card depending on your device) into a folder titled “GunVault”. You can copy this folder from your device to your computer for safekeeping and this way if your device ever breaks, is lost or you get a new one, you can copy the saved folder from your computer into the root of your new SD card and your Gun Vault contents will be transferred. Any modifications to your Gun Vault contents need to be done in Gun Vault. *Note: plugging your device into your computer via USB cable is usually the best way to perform the transfers.

I had put down at least 25 guns on the app in about 2 months later I went back to add another gun and 18 guns were gone. When the app updated that's when I lost all my information

Great work guys! Does everything anyone would want it to do! Works great and was just what I was looking for. Holds my large firearm collection very well and really helps me stay organized. In reply to "Jasen Strutt" and "James Smith, you both are complete idiots! Don't ever compare notepad to Gun Vault as GV kicks the crap out of notepad and any other program. Your probably just mad because you didn't think of this great idea.. James you probably think the government is watching you through the TV too haha

I understand its little more than a database but the theme seems hokey (there are so many apps to track other things with beautiful holo themes) and all the 'find a local shop' does is search Google Maps for a string that's so long it doesn't find any of the 9 places within 25 miles of me.

I took my pictures in landscape mode but the app displays them in portrait. Need a way to change orientation once a photo is added.

IMHO WAS LEARY OF APP . BUT THIS ONE IS OVER THE TOP. LOVE THE PASSWORD PROTECTION. EASE OF USE.MULI PHOTOS ,EDIT ,REMOVE OR ADDED INFO WHEN NEEDED. Do yourself a favor install and use this app. Can't say enough. THANK YOU HIMEWARE !!!! Wish I could rate higher . :-D

Great app for keeping track of things. Would be nice to be able to take the pictures through the app rather than having to already have the pictures in your phone's gallery. That way you have the gun right there for reference rather than taking all of your pics and then going back through them while having go find that particular gun again for serial numbers and additional information.
