Very friendly user ...

Love the software. But there is some bug. On my galaxy tab s 10.5 the app crashes when opening the moving map. Works fine if you don't download the sectional maps, but kind of need them. Plates and everything else seems to work. Hope this gets corrected so I don't have to switch to Garmin.

The potential is gut-wrenching. Android needs a competitor in flight planning. I use WingX on iPad and the Android version is pretty lacking. SD card support is awful, software doesn't accurately choose the actual SD card, resulting in inability to download maps. Sent a support request about a month ago, no response from developer. Some bugs which result in crashes. It's far from polished, but man... if they spent even a small amount of time to fix these issues I would be done with Foreflight and Apple.

The iPad/iPhone version of this app is amazing. I downloaded this onto my Motorola droid turbo and have hated it. Everytime I open the app it crashes multiple times, to the point that it is quicker to pull out a chart supplement guide, look up the airport, Fing the phone number for ASOS and call to get the weather than it is to check the weather on the app. I had been looking forward to the release for Android for while and have been extremely dissapointed with the bugs.

Several friends and myself use this app. It's not a bad app but it can be intimidating for a first time user. Overall it's your best choice if you can't use ForeFlight.

Less than 1/4 the features as wxpro7 for Ipad total waste if data! FltplanGO will do everything this does and more and it won't cost you a dime. P.s. the Ipad version is 1/4 that of foreflight so in short it's not worth your time.

There are so many free flight planning apps that I would take over the android version. IOS version seems to have it all. If you plan to purchase wingX pro, buy the IOS version. Upgrade the android version please

Not ready for prime time. This version offers only about 25% of the features in the ipad version. Once it is done, it will be great. I would not recommend it at this time.

That was a wasted dollar. Need a $74.95/yr subscription to get it to work. I will stick with avare.

"Unfortunately Wingx Pro7 has stopped" Recovered briefly by removing and reinstalling but it stopped again soon.

Great app for the Ipad and the phone version dovetails perfectly for on the ground preparation.

Flight planning

Wing X is far and away the best EFB on iOS platform. I hate to give it such a bad review but I definitely did not expect the Android release to be as terrible as it is. When viewing the terrain map it will not display the Air spaces nor does it display airports. I seriously thought there was some problem and called them. They explained to me that it was a different program (duh) and that's how works. Well what's the point? This is NOT ready for prime time! The iOS version is GREAT!

Clearly not yet fully developed for android devices. The existing features are good but still not the best Android based application.

I was hoping to switch to the Samsung android version. I was using the Samsung tab s2. Please fix this app in every way. Although I am excited about this android app I'm going back to my iPad until I see better app development improvement. Please make it look and operate just like your iPad version on the Android. Sry for the harsh review but I bought this tablet just for this app.

I downloaded lots of mapping. On the free 30 day trial I was unable to get it to display even a sectional. Outside, moving in car or moto, good GPS reception. Nothing. It looks to be something of great value and I've talked to pilots who love it but $80 to find out whether that does anything on my Note 4 is nothing but risk.

I've been waiting for the ANDROID wing X for a long time. I have to admit I was expecting a full featured EFB, but got an app that needs a lot of work to be truly useful. Please bring it up to your great I pad standard.

Love that WingX Pro is finally on Android and very hopeful for future updates and further app development and will update review when that comes, but at this point it lacks a lot of useful functionality that other apps such as DroidEFB have (ADS-B wx, external GPS, etc...) and cannot say at this point that I will replace my EFB app in the cockpit with WingX Pro quite yet...

Takes several gigs of space on device. Need to be able to store all that data on SD card. Need to have options on which charts to download, not just the whole us.

A good first start, but the following features are needed: flight plan rubber band editing, weather (METARs, TAFs, etc) and TFR depiction on the map, extended runway centerline. Also useful would be a graphical display of the download map coverage. It definitely has potential, though.

This app is off to a good start. There is a long way to go to match the iOS version, but it is still worth having. The main thing it needs is the ability to move it to the SD Card, especially the chart data, since it cab get very large, very quickly.

Lacks serious functions and options that the ipad version has. Almost a waste of time here....

Scammed me out of $1 for a trial version that does not work to understand its true usefulness.

No ADSB weather overlay

Being able to download the offline weather is great! Super fast and easy to use. Really like this better than some of the other flight planning apps out there.

Before i drop 150 bucks on an app that has previously dropped andriod from support! I want to see how it works compaired to the great Naviator app with synthetic vision.... My whole reason to want wing x vs others is synthetic vision and maybe traca... but it is not clear if that is on tge android version. After beimg behind the anouncment by 5 months.... I am excited to see if the sythetic vs will work on my Samsung tab 3 8inch... please offer a 30 day trial.
