Transit Tracker - MTA for Android
Great app
The UI took a little getting used to at first and often it loads slowly on my phone, especially: when selecting a few items from the menu, it takes about 5 seconds. But the app works, and it works very well. If you love or want more BusTime, this free app is a must-have! My favorite feature is that you can create your own alerts to when a bus is arriving at stops. Also of course the map is very useful. I once helped someone on a bus telling her where to get off by using this app, at home.
Will raise back to 5 but the app isn't tracking any buses at all and my data connection is fine. Please fix
Great app. Great for tracking loved ones after they get on the bus. They give you bus number, you get real time updates as to where that bus is. Worth paying for . . .
I really love this app. You really should make one for the NICE bus. (NICE - Nassau Inter County Express).
Hands down best Bus Tracker
It dosn't even work on the q6. Know it does work on the q44-sbs
Don't leave home without it! It's has 44sbs!
So nice. accurate, only app for android which shows live location of bus
Only works when bus driver turns on responder at least on the m42 line
Good but can't see all the routes, most recently the Q7 and Q8. Would be useful if residents on the Q7 and Q8 could use this app to find their bus.
It's the only app I've found that includes bus numbers. Which us really helpful as I try to track my child's commute.

Really like it Not bad
Great app
Crap
It need some update, other than that works for me .
But I can't figure out how to go pro?!?!?!
Much better than standard mta app. Just need to have the bus number hover automatically above bus icon. Shouldn't have to click it to see which bus it is if tracking multiple routes. Bus number currently showing if you click icon is useless.
Can't track the q7 or the q8
Sometimes it misses a bus or two but majority of the time it's accurate. it makes my commute a lot more convenient.
Ever since some update I downloaded, the listing of routes (i want to track several at once), blocks the underlying map with the information. I have to wait several unnecessary seconds for the bus route descriptions to fade away. It didn't use to be like that.
Works great. Very reliable.
I use this app daily to track my bus for my daily commute to/from work. It's always accurate and I've come to rely heavily on it. Keep up the great work!
Its great
This app have saved me time and money!!!
The bus was standing next to me app didn't showed any bus. It showed next bus hasn't left the depot yet.
Great app!
Its great
Couldn't find tracks 4, 5, A.. Or I suspect any others. Had bus M79 only.. Uninstall.
This use to be helpful until the new upgrade. Now it just shuts down when I try to open it. This shouldn't happen with the galaxy s4.
Did the upgrade and now I cant see ANY of the Brooklyn buses ... Galaxy S4
App was fine till the upgrade . Now it wont download map it just closes after i press track dont waste ur time
It is very well executed. I just have started to use MTA Tracker and I'm very pleased with its features, including the alerts! The two improvement I'll be emailing the author to suggest are: 1) give an easy way to show routes and stops for filtering in the initial screen. The current interface does help with auto-completing, but it doesn't help if a user needs to pick a route or stop on the map. I'm sure a decent way to do this will be added. Visually seeing all the buses on nearby bus lines helps time getting to the bus stop and allowing the user to display traffic info helps users make even smarter choices. 2) Another enhancement would be to allow clicking on stops shown and saving them for filtering later as it currently does for bus route filters previously input. Still, it already deserves a 5 and I just paid for the "+" edition to support the work.
Someone actually thought through the user requirements when building this app. The ui is a bit clunky but the features are there which is more than I can say about most apps. Great job.
I can see exactly where all the buses on my route are, and when the next one will reach my stop.
How is inbound/outbound defined? Seems counter intuitive. Example: M4 is listed as The Cloisters - Penn Station. However outbound appears to mean Northbound, in the direction to The Cloisters.
Pretty cool I like its very easy to use
Confusing ui

The status is simple normal progress means the bus is moving and no progress indicates last stop breakdown or wheelchair and with Google maps you can see live traffic conditions with this app I feel like the MTA Road Supervisors who watch the buses arriving but they can't track a bus unless they have this app I refer alot of Android users to this program
