It does not shrink to fit the frame. I hope it will auto fit the photo one day.

Nice frames & adjustable widget but it never displays the whole photo always cropping it, if its square, portrait or landscape it almost never shows the whole photo while many other photo widgets just adapt to show the whole photo even in slideshow modes !

Just keep it simple

Simple well thought out widget. Easy to use and the only one I've found that focuses on displaying your pictures they way you want. Congrats to the developer.

I bought + today and the images are not changing one after another. Instead the app stucks to the one right after the first image interval. Any solution to this? Lollipop user by the way.

Option "random effect" plisss... Borring only one effect.. And for interval option add 1,2,3,4 second

This photo widget app isn't perfect but after extensive searching, much trial and error, Animated Photo Widget bests every other app of its kind. With the right launcher (Apex, Nova or Lightning Launcher, etc) where widgets are resizable, you can do some really great stuff with these widgets, your homescreen and your photo gallery!

Only problem in having in paid version is photo click to open gallery does not work! I'm using a LG V20 on android 7.0, dev does not respond to emails. *Update* Dev finally got back to me and they issued an update and fixed the problem, now a 5 star app with great features and minimal battery drain

I previously had trouble with cropping but the author told me about the no crop mode in Effects. Now everything is displayed and I love this app.

Would be 5* review if there was an option to choose photos from across multiple separate folders :)

What I need except for one thing. The photo change interval only goes up to 60 minutes. It needs a daily change option and maybe some longer durations.

Decent widget but my biggest gripe is how unnatural the frames look. Is there anyway you can put a some rounded edge frames as well?

The only drawback is that data is not allowed to move to SD cards to save up internal storage. It eats up 0.6gb of memory for my case. Hope you could build in this permission in your later update.

Unfortunately, not what I need! I need to display my artwork on my phone as a widget so that I can quickly show people my work. Please add the ability to stop the intervals completely. Also, I need to be able to scroll back and forth between photos in the widget itself. I had a Moto G 3rd gen and that gallery app had the perfect widget and it has been impossible for me to find one like it since switching to an LG phone. Within that widget all I had to do was swipe up and down to go from picture to picture.

It seems some of the best photo widgets have been phone-specific. This app admirably fills the space for everyone else. It's not perfect but dev is very committed and negative reviews are unfair. Tried them all and this is the only one that's any good

I am very disappointed only of this. Selecting no zoom/scale removing the frame. Please fix this, taking one star of useful app like this, is not something I enjoy. Just need to be heard.

I dont like the fact. That pictures in my slideshows are duplicated. Taking up 4 gigs of my devices storage. Its not possible to opt that out?

After upgrading to marshmallow(6.0) this app does not work. All it does is freeze after selecting the photos to display. Will this fixed?

There needs to be two different widgets that will auto sense portrait and landscape pictures, an option to add a frame to the "no crop" effect and a shuffle button because the same photos like to play over and over again for some reason despite being set to shuffle.

I've tried, and paid for, multiple widgets like this one. This is the best, but needs some help. 1) images do not scale based on the longest dimension. 2) I've modified some images using picsart, and on many of those images the modifications don't appear when those images are shown in the widget. I've contacted the programmers, and their response is that the widget uses the same API as the native gallery app, but that clearly isn't the case. The issues don't appear in the native gallery app. They also recommended clearing all system caches and rebooting the device. Done that many times and the problems persist. ***UPDATE*** Apparently a new feature was added that I wasn't aware of. Under Effects, there is a "No Zoom/Crop effect" that's waaayyy down at the bottom of the effects list. Perhaps it would be wiser to place new effects/options at the top of lists rather than at the bottom. Thanks to the authors for adding this option, but please think of a better way to present/communicate new options so people don't remain frustrated for no reason.

App works perfectly. Best app i have on my phone. Developer is very responsive to resolution of issues. Keep up the great work.

We can only use this app or we must install the free version first?. I just installed the paid one but sometimes my picture didnt show in the frame its blank and only show the time. Need help

Why do the pictures for the 4 photo widget have to come from the same folder? You can't mix and match from other folders? This is very limiting and annoying.

Can't have multiple widgets with different photo albums. The widget is nice but since the new update for Android the gallery widget is gone. I was looking for something that allowed for multiple widgets at once that each used a separate album. This only uses one source at a time. So I have 3 photo widgets up that all display the same photos.

Had to replace my Samsung photo widget since it seems to have disappeared after the update to Nougat. I found this widget and it seems to do everything I had the previous widget to without any issues. Has good customization options that are easy to use.

Issue I am facing is image does not scale in this widget. If you resize widget then image gets zoomed and you lose contents. There is no such effect as NO CROP

Purchased this app and it was fine until I upgraded my OS and now, because I do not want to have Google Play Services or the Play Store on my phone, it says I'm not licensed. This app needs an alternative way of purchasing and verifying so we don't have to put our entire lives into Google's hands.

Loses two stars due to recent loss of functionality. On single tap to open gallery used to open photo zoomed to fill screen .. now opens to actual resolution. If image shown is GIF then used to open on tap to play GIF zoomed to fill screen.. now opens to actual resolution still image.
