I must agree with all negative comments regarding this collar. It does not work consistently. The bark correction function stopped working after recent downloads and customer service, while nice, hasn't provided a long term fix. Don't waste your money on the collar. Great concept, but doesn't function well or as described.

Wanted a training & bark control collar. Happy finally a combo collar. Needed bark control for when I'm not home so my dog won't bother my neighbors. Didn't realize this collar would ONLY work with the Bluetooth. Therefore, when I'm not home, I have no control over my dog. WILL NOT stay connected to my Android. Can't use half of the features, b/c they aren't available on my app. Also did not realize this would not be able to be controlled by more than one person at once. No directions w/ collar or on app.

I needed this to be great. unfortunately, all of the bad reviews are 100% true. How can I get my money back?

Only works when connected via bluetooth... which makes the bark control pointless. It says a range of up to 400ft, but it was constantly disconnecting.

My pittbull seriously laughs at the amount of shock is gets when is crosses the fence once he gets hit with the sock me keeps going and is gone not to mention the collar disconnects every time my phone times out he does something bad I try to correct him takes 6 years to connect by that time he's getting shocked and don't know why my boss recommend this product wish I would of went with what I always used petsafe stubborn dog my loss I guess $250 wasted

It's been almost a month for the new update and still a useless app on my galaxy s7 and s6. Will this ever be fixed?????? I've had the product for about a month now been very patient that at some point everything would work properly. I have spent almost $450 and still cannot use all the functions because of the app issues! Very frustrating and misleading product.

New update will not connect to the collars. Rendering a very expensive system useless. You have to be able to connect via the app to setup the collars for training and containment. Have tried calling during the normal business hrs multiple times, and always get an answering machine.

Was excited about getting this today. Opened it up and downloaded app. Tried it only to find out I now have a useless collar. Won't connect or search for new device. Doesn't work only gives virtual collar. No option to add/ pair a collar. A lot of money to spend for something that doesn't work.

Nexus 6 with Android 6.0.1. The last version was awful. Now it is just garbage. It absolutely will not connect, rendering the collar almost useless. This is not acceptable.

Good system when it works. Had to get a second collar sent to me, got that one working finally. After 2 days the app will not stay connected. customer service sent the old app via email and still doesnt work properly. The idea of the system is a great idea...but programmer needs to act FAST and get the app up to date and working. Thankfully the containment part is working, but i spent the money for the complete advertised system.......developer better get its act together soon.

$160 and it will not stay connected to my Galaxy 5. You have got to be kidding me! This is a horrible App! Why don't you just give us a remote!?

I was really hoping that this would help my cane Corso 3 year old pup! I bought this because i always misplace the remotes! I have my phone always! The bark control i have on sound only and has helped so far! When I need to correct my dog from doing wrong with the sound I need to have it ready to go asap! Problem keeps wanting to update collar but won't actually complete. Also battery power doesn't seem accurate. Should have came with additional battery and more generic battery!

Sad excuse for a dog collar. My puppy don't even feel the shock. App is so slow. Do not use this if your want to train your dog correctly.

The collar looked great until we put it on our dog and tried actually using the app. It took a ridiculous amount of time to connect to bluetooth, and when you leave the app, the collar disconnects. Good luck using it to train a puppy. Wow. What a waste of time and money.

It was already bad on a Samsung phone so I thought maybe they fixed it in the update. Now it is even worse and have wasted money and time. Don't buy this product, you will regret it. Please read all the reviews before considering this product, you will be so glad you did!

Didn't work great to begin with now with updates it's worse. How are you allowed to even sell this product. Does no good to contact you no one ever responds. Waist of money.

Whatever the application update was I can no longer contain my dog in my yard, trainer doesn't work and bark features not working with the update. Spoke with someone at the 800 number where we attempted to troubleshoot but could resolve on 4/18/16 told they would call me back I have not heard back yet and my dog is barking and running away from yard. Previously when collar worked is was worth every penny but not sure how much longer that will be until the app is updated. Please please fix the app.

Haven't been able to connect to collar since the app update over a month ago. Worst product ever. They shouldn't sell something that doesn't work.

As said below by many, app won't even connect to collar, only working function is vital collar, even the horrible home screen won't pull up now. Beyond that the band of the collar is a horrible plastic, without a doubt bad for puppies. Had high hopes till it arrived...now the cheapness is visible.

I bought and returned the collar same day had a Bf22 need a remote as well by the time I get out my phone connect to collar I can correct my dog on my own

This app is a joke. My wife has an iPhone and the app operates acceptably. The android version is a complete joke. Very rarely am I able to connect to either of the two collars we have, and once I do the connection is unreliable AT BEST. I have never posted a negative review, but for what this system cost me, I expected much more. Also, if you have more than one dog, you'll be disappointed that you can't connect to more than one collar at a time.

I wish I just got a collar with a remote this app is terrible and hardly ever works. Any time I really need it doesn't work or take 30 minutes to set up.

This device does not work on my galaxy note. Almost never connects and when it does, as soon as the screen locks out it disconnects and won't reconnect. Stupid device with a big waste of money.

Refuses to connect at all. Only does testing mode. Never comes out. Collar is unusable. I paid almost 200 bucks for a training collar that doesn't work. Awesome...

This app does not work with either of my phones galaxy 4 or note 4. I called customer service and they confirmed.. yes sorry it doesnt work with that platform (whatever that means)....I have it on daughters ipod now, which is hugely inconvenient. What am I to do buy a new phone just to work my dogs collar. Wish I wouldn't have wasted my money.

Would be a fantastic collar if the app would stay connected to the collar. It disconnects or freezes every 2nd command it greatly inhibits the productivity of the collar. Great concept needs alot of app fixes to be amazing. The no bark feature is good except it does pick up other dogs barking and misses alot of the wearers barking but in the long run has helped minimize the barking. For the price I am disappointed with its overall function.

The collar was simple to attach and robust enough not to break. The app keeps the main training functions in the forefront with easy to reach buttons for training. The new feature of naming the buttons makes it much easier for me to remember which tones represent which commands. I was impressed with how quickly my dog adjusted his barking when I activated the bark control feature. I'm anxious to see what new features are next.

If this collar worked with the app all the time it would be amazing! But it does not work more than half of the time. It will not connect and then I have to restart the app by thay time its to late! It's extremely frustrating that I paid so much money and it doesn't even work the way it is supposed to.

This is very effective with my dog but can only get about 5 mins of training in before the app on my Samsung Galaxy 5 active will not connect to collar . I then have to Uninstall app and reinstall again and it will pick it up and work for about 5 mins and I done all of the 13 updates. So if there is a fix for this please let me know if not I will be returning this product. Thanks

With the bluefang app I am able to train my dog more easily than ever before. Its nice just to be able to pick up my cell phone and stop my dogs bad habits. the training and bark control work very well too. This app and dog collar have made life much easier for Snookers and me.

I bought 2 of these hoping it would simply work, but one of the collars has stop working properly, the sound is not audible, extremely low sound, while the other makes loud sounds. Also the collars loose connection with the app consistently even when the collars are within arms reach. Hard to actually sound train with if the app is so fickle and in consistent. I thought about using a small shock to help train but when a shock goes off the whole unit disconnects from the app and doesn't re-establish.

As an engineer, I am very impressed with this Bluetooth device and app. But, I am even more impressed as a pet owner. This system gives you the ability to train your dog with your cell phone which, in itself, is pretty awesome. But the training system is very unique, with a set of command tones as customizable stimulus levels. You also get bark control and electronic fence functions. The collar has a separate radio receiver to work with an in-ground electronic fence. All in all this system is great.

The collar build quality is just ok, not great. The app is poorly designed by a novice, not very well laid out, and only works intermittently...

Love that I can do all these functions with my phone!
