High Fantasy Soundboard for Android
I was less than impressed with a lot of the sounds (the dragon ones were particularly disappointing). That said, the ones I do like make the app totally worthwhile. It will definitely see use at the gaming table.
Really good app with a great database, but problems with the ui on my device (Asus zenfone 2). A way to edit font size in the settings would help a lot. Another issue: the audio won't loop.
This has been a huge benefit! I can actually have some of my players emersed in the action feeling as if they're experiencing it all right in front of them! Really like the power of the swings with some of the weapons, only to have the shellshock of a bloody blow striking the enemy down! This is for sure an app I would recomend and will!????????????
Keep updating this app for more sounds! Also I'd like to suggest a visual update as well since the boxes are not big enough for the words. Some we don't know what sound it is.
Interface is kinda clunky. Great resource, especially for free! Would buy it but it's ugly and kinda hard to use on the fly. No scene builder and such.
Decent app. This app covers the basic sounds for a D&D dungeon crawl. As is, it's good enough. This app needs more sounds overall, and more variations of certain sounds like weapon hits. Some of the sounds should be redone. One function the app could really use is the ability to add your own custom sounds.
I'm sure it's a bug but all of the buttons are super small squares and I can't see the writing. Edit: couple months later and there is still no fix or response. It does the same thing on my tablet. Uninstalling it on both devices.
I love the loop features for ambiance. If you guys would add more music to the paid feature I would definitely buy it! It would also be nice to be able to see all the sounds I'm running so I could possibly stop certain sounds or adjust volume for them. Even without those features though this app is better than most "soundboards" you find online.
Ths sounds are great and I would love to give this 5 stars, except they are all in ogg file format so I can't use them in the videos I'm making for my campaign. I need wav files or something more easily supported please!!!
Has a nice variety of categories and plenty to choose from within each general subjects. I liked being to choose favorites for quicker access during a game. My only real criticism is many of the weapon sounds are so similar most of us lay people could not tell if it was a long bow or short bow and so on.
4 stars because the app is unique and free. The scroll is laggy and the audio is very low kHz. It's like bad tape... But all in all the app is kind of unique and I'm going to use it, may be even buy pro to support developer. If there'll ever be version with hi-res sound I would definitely buy it.
Huge library, lots of options! Not everything is useful In a match, like throat clearing cuz I'll just do that my self. Really good for ambiance. It would be nice to be able to loop any sound though.
For a free app this is awesome. My only beefs are its tough to see what each button does (not like on the cover page IT SHOULD BE) and it needs a bit more polish. More music will help "dwarf kingdom/mines" etc
It's a great app, the sounds are cool and really enhance the immersion. My only problem is the buttons don't always show the full text. It cuts off whether I am in landscape or portrait mode
I had issues with not being able to stop tracks if i used the app for more than a couple noises. Plus the layout is kind of clunky. Its not a bad app but could be improved greatly.
All it needs is some fine tuning like I love the fact that you can loop one while looping another and even another but I would really like to be able to control the volume of each one and when I re-tap whatever I'm playing I would like it to stop playing. So if I have 3 playing at one time I can just end the one I want. "You walk into the tavern and you instantly hear tavern folk conversing and the crackling of the fireplace, after about 20 minutes or so the local Bards get on stage and start playing.
These sound effects are great and some are humorously great! I've found several I am now using as notifications and a ringtone. Only negative is some seem virtually the same. There are plenty of sounds to choose from, but many sound alike.
Once I start a sound track I'm stuck with it. Won't let me pause or change music, have to kill app to stop it. Also cannot add my own music. UI is. ROUGH...very rough...
Some of the sounds are kinda dated, and i wouldn't mind more high quality effects but it's free. Also everything layers on top of itself. So that can get kinda frustrating
Amazing, simple to use and add specific sounds to your favourites so you don't have to go searching for them. Ads aren't annoying. Overall amazing soundboard for any DM for a little bit extra fun.
If I could combine sounds to create a unique effect for my game that would be over the top. Minor critique UI buttons are crowded and sometimes hard to read. I would love to see new options and sounds in the update
The app has great assortment of sounds. The UI isn't perfect, I would like to have the option to stop sound in general and individually as well. Also loop sounda are not looping for me.
Been doing some Original D&D once a week via Skype and with a virtual tabletop. Every now and then I toss out a battle sfx when there a successful hit roll...and someone says "what the hell was that?!?!" Nothing like a little ambience... :)
This app is pretty great. I have a few problems, well one problem, every now and again after pressing a bunch of the sounds it will stop playing new ones. I can't really be more specific, it will play a bunch in a row and then I'll swap categories and play more, and sometimes it will just stop playing. This forces me to close the app and reopen it and it works fine again... it's just a minor nuisance. I really love this app and I hope you're planning on adding more sounds.
On my galaxy s6 all the words are squished together. Like, half the word is under the other half. If it wasn't for this I would rate out 5 stars. It is hard to find things.
It got very useful set of sounds, not very high quality but ok. My main issues is the interface is very ugly not intuitive, however if can get past that is a very nice addition to a DnD or somilar role playing session
Great selection of sounds - but the buttons are all misaligned in both portrait and landscape mode. It doesn't render it unusable but it does make for an unpleasant user experience. Were it not for this drawback, I would purchase the premium edition
This sucker works like you want your soundboards to: no lagtime, whatsoever, tons of theme-appropriate options, good times! I highly approve
I'd like it to be more extensive, but considering the fact that this is the (very excellent) free version, it's hard to voice particular complaint. I actually found it useful to have a clip continue even after selecting another one, but being able to decide would be nice.
I really wish the loop options were endless. Especially ones like "rain" or "tavern" and the like. Otherwise it isn't great, particularly love "war cry" under combat. Give me endless tavern banter and such and you'll get that 5th star. Also on Motorola Droid Turbo 2 for reference.
When playing the looped sound bites there is no way to stop the loop, without shutting the app down and restarting it. Otherwise very usable sounds.
I use this in my campaign. It's pretty great and adds a little something to your game. The party was spooked when I used the skeleton sound lol
This app is a little gem. Having a loop track playing while you overlay other sounds, particularly battle scenes, is a great way to add atmosphere to a gaming session. If you combine it with the tracks on offer from tabletop audio you've got a winning combination.
I play D&D with a group of friends that get distracted very easily. Playing an adventurous spotify playlist with this actually helped keep them focused and made the whole thing just that much more enjoyable.
This app has a good variety of sounds, but it does tend to glitch out every now and then and stop playing sounds until it's restarted. I think the best sounds are the hit sounds.
Great app with great diverse sounds for any RPG. Interface is a little difficult to use at times but overall easily worth what I spent
I play absurd amounts of D&D, so to have this application as a quick way to create effects rather than always using my voice to DM our sessions, is glorious. I'm highly appreciative this exists. All I can ask for, is for you guys to make more sounds. Perhaps add more music! You could even create your own music to add. Write it and record it. Nevertheless, an excellent application, and I thank thee for spending thy time to make it.
Some neat sounds here and there but the most exciting names fall short if not confusing. Cool that they can be used for notifications. Would be much better if renaming and allowed user to add more. Love the flurry of blows BTW. Lol
I really like some of the looping apps and longer audio monster files are cool. My biggest complaint is the quality of some of the audio files. They sound rough and under-produced. Others are far too short to use in a session. This is a good app, but it has room it could improve.

Easily the best soundboard for tabletop rpg's that I've seen, at least from the free ones. So many sounds to choose from and all really high quality. Only issue is that the font size means that some of the buttons have their name cut off, so you don't know what the sounds will be. Maybe that's just my phone though. Either way, still an amazing app.
