Common Lisp is the modern, multi-paradigm, high-performance, compiled, ANSI-standardized, most prominent (along with Scheme) descendant of the long-running family of Lisp programming languages.

Common Lisp is known for being extremely flexible, having excellent support for object oriented programming, and fast prototyping capabilities. You get a tutorial as a textfile in app format and a link at which you can read Seibel's book Practical Common Lisp for free. The tutorial is very good. I did a bit of LISP in a course in functional programming at college decades ago and just reading it brought it all back in no time plus taught me some new stuff. I don't know what the three people who gave it 1 star expected. It is does not look flashy, but I think it is a good tutorial. You need a LISP interpreter to type in the examples.
