White Light Flashlight

The best flashlight app I could find, especially for having a simple light switch on lock screen. No ads and no shady permission demands whatsoever. Thank you so very much! (However, as I now have a flashlight button on my notification panel, this app has become somewhat obsolete for me.)

This is so much better than ANY flashlight app you'll ever get! It says no ads but there really is NO ADS! It also has a handy widget that comes with it. The only things I wanted from a flashlight app was a widget, no ads making the flashlight slow as hell and the ability to control it from my lock screen is a great bonus. This app doesn't lie.

This app works exactly as stated. No ads, no questionable permissions. Best of all this app overcomes the problem of the flashlight turning off when the lockscreen is activated, ie when the flip cover is closed. Not even the built in flashlight app could overcome this issue. Well done! Also I love the shortcut in the notification area. Just a winner all round.

This is by far the best flashlight app available for Android. Only one permission (camera) which is needed for the app to work. Zero unnecessary permissions or ads. This app is perfect.. Great job dev! Miss the old app icon but big deal.. It doesn't affect the usability and I know the trend is more towards flat design now. But as far as a flashlight app goes, it doesn't get any better than this.

Hunted for quite a while before I found this little gem. It is a simple torch using the camera's flash. Once you have set your preferences and then installed the widget on your home screen, one tap and you have a torch, another tap and it's off. Simples!

Only one I can find that can be set up to work when screen is securely locked. Problem is that it can be accidently activated in pocket because it only needs screen touch to turn on. Would give it five stars if that is changed to swipe (same as main interface).

My goodness, just when it seemed hopeless that I would ever find a good flashlight that will stay on when the phone is locked or when I'm using other apps, I find this. This is far and away the best flashlight app I've seen (after downloading and deleting over ten). I'm picky, and very happy with this.

First time ever bothering to post a review but this was awesome. I thought it would take me forever to find an app so simple but as i keep saying.. this was too simple. Everyone this is perfect and got me posting. A+++! :)

Unfortunately the screen brightness bar stopped working. That's a bummer.

They keep it simple with a beautiful user interface. Simply turns on/off the camera flash to provide some light. There are no ads, and this is the smallest flashlight app I have seen (read: no bloat). I wish more apps were developed with this philosophy.

I've never said this before of any app, but this one's perfect! Tried several others but none came close. At last, an app that has no annoying ads, it uses the absolute minimum of memory and does exactly what it should do easily and without fuss. Hallelujah!!

I don't usually comment on apps but I can't conceal my enthusiasm for the app. It works on screen lock, on backlight off and lastly no nonsense ads. This app needs to come with new androids products

Great with no ads, and no permissions. Working good with my Samsung galaxy core prime with no problem. But would love a simple icon touch to turn it on, instead of widget. So I could put it on bottom quick access area. Great job though :)

Does what it says but bulky widget takes lot of screen real estate. Can't resize it down. Thus giving only two stars.

Completely stopped working after the first use. Now just freezes for several seconds and always says "Can't connect to the camera." This is on a Moto G running Lollipop 5.1. I hope you can fix it. This would be an awesome app/widget if it worked.

The LED is one of the most used things on my phone. Not sure why it is so hard to access it through Android OS. Can't make a shortcut on the home screen and can't put a shortcut on the lock screen. This app solves both of those problems perfectly!

Great app, but could you add an option to make the lock screen notification black? It looks kinda ugly on the black lockscreen of my S5 Neo.

Who needs 100 permissions to run a flashlight. Been using another app for years and they finally screwed it up with their update. This app is awesome

Had to come back & give this a 5 star rating.Great app,no ads & you can have your screen off while torch is on, stopping you from opening another app by accident.Well done guys,sometimes simple is better.

This app is one of the best ones I have ever used as far as a flashlight no ads has a widget super bright LED and you can turn on and off from the home screen without unlocking . dope!

its simple to use.. ad free.. can also be controlled from lock screen. its just perfect. please don't ruin it with usless updates

Very useful app since the Galaxy s5 doesn't have an easily accessible flashlight button (the stock widget is ugly as well). My only gripe is that the notification does not show immediately when opening the lock screen. There's a little delay, enough of a delay that you'll often read the top notification, realize you want to open that notification, but when you go to tap the notification, the white light notification pops up, and you accidentally turn on your flashlight. People probably think you're sneaking a picture but left the flash on.

Thank goodness! A flashlight that's just a flashlight. No ads and fancy stuff. The widget is great too, to turn the light on in one press.

Simple effective touch bar activation on lockscreen. Would be nice to change bar to floating buttons because of different lockscreen pictures and a timer in case of accidental activation.

Only thing I found strange was it asks u for permission to record video and take pictures when I first downloaded app. ?? Weird for a flashlight app.

I installed this app bc it said minimal permissions minimal space etc and I thought it was respectful to privacy wth! The app jist asked for permission to record video AND take pictures. Tell me what that has to do with my needing a flashlight?

Works from the lock screen! But it can accidentally turn on while putting the phone into the pocket, forgetting to darken the screen.

Awesome app. Love the lock screen app ability and NO ADS. Is there a way in future to put in an auto shut off after x amount of time just to make sure light doesn't stay on?

Excellent and Simple App Came across many flashlight apps with complex settings but no access from lock screen. This is simple and Easy to use and that too AD Free

No ads and can have flashlight icon stay available in swipe down menu as well as app icon for a screen flashlight make this the best one I've used. Simple, accessible, gets the job done, and I don't mistakenly tap an ad. Light will also stay on when screen is off.

App is good but the widget icon is very large and the widget goes blank sometimes if the home launcher restarts It becomes invisible I can still pickup from its place and throw it in dustbin just its invisible and doesnt functions. I would have to create a new widget from widget menu. my phone xperia c3
