Speech To Text Notepad for Android
It will input some weird words that once I think about it, they do kind of sound similar. It has made my job writing reports so much easier. . . but I wish I could capitalize my sentences without paying and everytime I say comma, it wires the word. I can't live without it but thinks could improve for the freeness. . .
Very nice app. Works smoothly and I thank to the app developers. But one thing it has very less symbols like!#/?etc these things need to updated. Hope my concern will be sorted out soon.. Thanks
I hate typing papers but like talking. This does my dirty work for me. Its awesome. Sometimes messes up words but life isnt perfect either (HTC M8)
Only used few times to dictate simple notes. Worked just fine. A little confusing when I pause, can't be sure, no icon or symbol nor pause button (may be one, don't know which cause not obvious like II for pause).
Mostly use it for spell check, was a math major, work as a chemist for a living. Spelling is not one of the better quality. It works, for me...
Just started using it.The ability to provide some formatting and correction verbally, is awesome. That's what Google doesn't have. .. The capacity to read it back to me seemed like an amusement at first, but it's actually very useful feedback to get your work read back to you. Sentence capitalising offered in the Gold version would make it mostly hands free so that's a tempting carrot. Clever marketing, and if it keeps performing like it has, I can see me going there.
The microphone doesn't turn off on its own! This is great of you like to dictate with your eyes closed like me.
I downloaded this after trying a few other disappointing apps (including dragon dictation) this recognizes what you say very well. I use this to speak notes about my students instead of having to write everything down and risk missing something. I can then share the notes to my email and upload them from my email to our assessment program. Thanks!
This is the greatest app in the history of the world! Finally, I can do dictation without having to look down and see if the recorder has suddenly stopped or not. This app uses an amazing vibration feature to tell me its exact status. I encourage everyone to use this app, and I hope the inventor becomes a billionaire.
Would have gave 5 stars but mic not great.
Some times it does really good others it comes up with some weird stuff. But all in all it's much better than typing the whole thing.
I use this app for dictation often. It might not be always correct, but it is easy to use and get the job done. Love it.
Gladly it keeps stopping and then I have to wait to find my notes that I've written to myself to remember and remind me of things it sucks and I'm pissed until I find another one
Not working guys plz don't install it
This app used to work half the time, after update it no longer understands English at all.
But some spelling mistake.
Very easy to use for me. Dictate then save to OneNote. Sweet.
Really great app. Coverts speech to text with around 95% accuracy so far on the standard version.
Worked great on my old phone. Doesn't even work on new one
Misinterprets common words. Delete function doesn't work.
Very useful app in daily life. Thanks alot. Wishing you a good luck &&&&
Worst app ever!! I literally think this is poo!
Free program has limitations. Don't want to pay ongoing monthly fee.
Works good..neat technology..not perfect but fun to use.
That is how, I rate it.No hassles,no hang ups Too good.Saves a lot of time Easy sharing facility.
I love this app. I use it for my online classes, so that I don't have to write a ton of notes. It is extremely helpful.
The monthly charge is too hard for many, especially in school, raising family, etc. , too hard but app is excellent.
It doesn't write what you want sometimes, but over all it gets the job done
Its a little off sometimes unless you talk real slow and I don't,.
Uncluttered screen, advertising is not intrusive and easly save text to notepad.
perfect for drunken rants
So far so good, just used a couple times, I think it will be great
From a fair distance this is the best voice to text I have used
Wish I'd had this ten years ago
Is se accha kuch nahi
It's okay, and handy, but you wouldn't want to rely on it, as it takes ages to get a full sentence down. I have to edit so much. It leaves lots out, misses parts of my sentences, despite speaking clearly and slowly. Can be frustrating sometimes. I love that I can email it, and then copy and paste the text into my document later.
Why am I surprised that this app has just deleted more notes that I created yesterday. It has deleted Four long important notes last week. Just days after being created. They they are gone. That's Not Good.
I'd say it recognises about 70% of anything I'm saying. Have to be corrected manualy. And these are common every day words. I can try again and again, it just simply will not recognise them. Also no capitalization of words and it seems that it does not recognise numbers either. It all has to be put manually. It is however useful and entertaining. But it needs work.
Great app but the 'capitalize first letters of sentences' button shows up grey and I can't click it. Still quicker doing that manually than writing the whole thing out though so still a good app

Thanks the second highest spoken language of India, Telugu is now supported for voice input. Before, only Hindi supported for the whole India.. a great disappointment for crores of Indians. It is always been a great mistake by the outer world to recognize and encourage only Hindi in India. INDIA is not just Hindi. It's a small language amidst many great languages with more great literature than Hindi. The problem is with some North Indian guys projecting India to the world, as a "Hindi Country" only.
