Hertz RentACar

App is missing the coupon/discount tab. Iphone version has that tab. Also it does not remember my reservations and asks me for my name and conf number even when I'm logged on. Stinks I have to go out to the main website to reserve cars and gather info that was readily avail on the iphone app. A fix would be nice.

Can't see my reservations. Asks for confirmation and last name. App always freezes. Running on a Note8. I personally believe hertz needs to integrate everything into their app with gold choice. Why get a text or email when you should be able to do it all in the app. Avis does it and I believe national.

This app is a joke. It never saves my member number, so when I'm traveling it is difficult to login without hunting for my number. And rates are double compared to just booking a car through the airline sites.

Navigating the app is easy enough. I wish my company promo code,which I have saved on file, would be selected as default when selecting a rental. I also am a fan of selecting the rental days off a provided calendar, not typing in the specific dates I need. All, and all I am currently satisfied with the app, as well as with hertz. I have spent many years with Avis preferred,and am hoping to have found a better rental agency here, than I have received from that terrible company.

Bizarre performance. Logging into app can be annoying doesn't always work error issues even new phones like S8+. My advice being expert on travel apps? Copy Avis app layout performance with the Hertz Good Plus program. Your app stinks performance reliability wise presently and toy need to realize that. You are what the people say you are.

The older version allows to see current reservations after log in. With this latest version, still need to enter confirmation number and last name even after log in to view current reservations. Not efficient.

Clunky. You can log in and it will show you your earliest reservation. But you can't click on that to see details or modify or cancel. You have to go to "my reservations" ... which doesn't list your reservations!!! You have to type in your 11 character reservation number and last name just to edit the reservation, even though you are signed in!!! As for your second or third reservation, unless you know the reservation number, you can't see them. This is absurd. So is the usability.

Very buggy app but helpful when it works. Half the time I can't log in. "My reservations" button does not work, does not remember my profile, and I have to enter my phone number for each reservation even though ikt is in my profile and I rent multiple times a month. Very disappointing app.

Couldn't update my info via the app which is a little annoying. This made me lose out on Gold reward points because my credit card has renewed since the last time I rented a car and I have a new number. I went to the website on my phone but it wouldn't allow me to get a new password so I could update my info. I had it at 4 stars initially but downgraded it after all the issues I've had. Also could access discounts unless I went to the full website. Thinking of deleting. Not worth all the back and forth.

It doesn't work. And if a car renting company app doesn't work, what the heck do you want it for? To look nice on the app store? Come on! I'll have to book by phone after wasting 10 mins on the app.

Setting up a reservation is fast and easy. The maps load slowly, but are still appreciated when searching for a Hertz location. There could be more info provided and less dead space in the vehicle selection screen. Scrolling through the dead space is annoying and I almost didn't realize there were more options to scroll to.

Lots of bugs. Anytime you try to reserve a car using points it gets stuck in the logon page and won't let you book with points. Strange. Wonder why. Bad on you Hertz.

Was very clunky. Screens didn't appear, had to reverse screen flow multiple times to get the reservation booked. Recently switched to pixel from iPhone, iPhone version is noticeably better

I love using Hertz but this app almost never works. I always have issues logging in, I receive multiple errors, and it freezes constantly. I really only use it to keep up with my points.

App is very counterintuitive for cancelling a reservation. It should be a lot easier...trying to help you instead of no-show Also cannot find a way to do one way rental in app?

Pickup dropoff time selection drop down too restrictive. When modify reservation after logging in, required to enter lengthy reservation number, what good does that do? No one will remember the reservation number! Or care to go look it up.

App do freeze a few time but still able to proceed after a short wait. Made a booking for the 1st time using this app, hope no hiccup when the day comes.

This app is nice layout but crashes every single time! Yes i updated my app and yes im on the latest android cersion but this is just a disaster...i always end up using the website or i call hertz instead

Pin headed approach...did you really mean to make it hard for me to reserve a car in the future if I don't know my flight arrival info??? I just switch to your competition.

The Hertz Gold experience is generally good, but their app has frequent instability and errors. Enough of a headache that I am considering switching to another rental company.

User interface is easy to use but it crashed 3 times during 1 booking. Sends to be unstable when users change to different apps to get an account number and come back.

Latest version is absolutely horrible to use. Once logged in, can't pull up existing reservations without having to manually enter in confirmation number and last name for each one. Extremely clunky and not user friendly.

Just an app version of the website. Took them years just to get this. With the way they have been remodeling the stores you would think they would dump some money into web and app dev.

It doesn't recognize my upcoming reservations. It displays it, but I have to enter the confirmation number to modify. That's just a ridiculous workflow.

New update for android is awful. Can't pull up reservations for review. I have to retrieve the reservation number from an email and manually enter it in the app to search for an existing reservation. Redundant and PAINFUL???? Samsung Note 8 user.

It works fine to rent cars. Minor Issue: no option for changing drop off or rental extension.

The app has gotten very buggy over time. I can't view my reservations anymore unless I enter the confirmation number, and it always has trouble logging in to my account.

Dreadful app. What is the point of being a member and downloading an app that won't let you book the car...."call to book". You can't update you profile in the app, and for some reason it won't accept my CC information but the website will. Thumbs down!

Crashed multiple times on Google Pixel. Calendar did not work. Doesn't link to stored reservations automatically, I had to find confirmation #. The home button did not work. Buggy.

This app is terrible. It's so unreliable. I can't see my reservations when I log in with the app and my discount codes aren't there when I try to make a reservation.

After last update works badly on my galaxy 8+ I can't log in "login filed. Please check credentials."

Unable to use Redeem Hertz points. When I select use points it goes into a loop and I cannot finish transaction.

Worked previously but after recent updates has a slew of bugs making it almost unusable to book a car

This app allows me to secure a solid Hertz reservation quickly, anywhere, anytime. I don't have to call someone The reservation is sent to my email where I easily add it to my calendar events.

Buggy. When I try to use rewards or gold membership benefits, the app asks if I'd like to login to use them even though I'm already logged in. Saying 'yes' brings me back to login screen, but when I login, it just repeats the whole process all over again.

This app is way behind technology. Needs major improvements
