This app is a clunky interface with a website. So far it's consistently forgotten my Fahrenheit (vs. Celsius) preference each time I log in (which I have to do each time I use it). I'm hoping it improves, maybe eventually gets a truly native interface, maybe acquires more recipes.
Title says it all. It does not work, at all. I was told to use their website, which does work, sometimes , but what's the point of a wifi device that's app doesn't work.
After using Facebook to login, it just opens up my browser to the EatTender website where I can managey device. What's the point of the app?
I don't see a reason to have this app if it opens to a browser. Like the Nomiku though.
This is a link to a webpage, not an app. Added a device, cannot delete, cannot change. Product is buggy.
Wifi Nomiku is sold and named on on the promise of using an app to use the device remotely. Doesn't work. Really frustrating. Doesn't remember F and C units. These are huge old issues, wouldn't be surprised if never fixed or delayed until 2017 after unit production has finished. This app is basically the website, but more unweildy.
The app is just sad to say the least. I like the device and seems like it can be awesome but it just pulls a website. This needs to be an actual app. Again if you just want to use the device it so far has been great, app just needs a lot of work. Few friends that got this feel the same way.
UX is clunky. Immediate commands for the device should be on the opening page, or at least should be an option to be the opening page. The app does not work with my LG G5 nor does it work with my Nexus 9. On both devices, it waits for Nomiku WiFi to connect, but never does. I can only control my Nomiku from the Web page. I realize this is a startup company, but good UX is paramount. Think about how easy and intuitive it is to get an Uber.
Please work on making the website feel more native. Perhaps switching a front-end framework that handles routing to reduce the need for re-fetching a lot of resources. I don't think this app has any issues of its own because it's just a viewer.
Still slow with loading, but a lot better. Would love to see a better navigation menu
Other than that, no complaints.
Tried signing using Facebook, it opens my web browser and let me signin on Facebook for the web version. Went back to this all, still asking me to sign in.
Not able to filter for preferences, such as for specific dietary preferences. Pulled a "no results found" with every attempt. Had also hoped it would "swipe" recipes I want to save (as the recent web article suggested it does), so that's disappointing. I hope it gets better. Too irritating to use at this point with having to re-scroll every time you go back from viewing a recipe. Sadly unimpressed.
When I heard of this app, it was supposed to be like Tinder for food. Swipe left for recipes you don't like and right for recipes you do. Not like that at all. When. You have the recipes picked for you, it is hard to get to those recipes. Not really easy to navigate. If you can't find more than one recipe for chicken breast, there's a problem. Don't HATE it because it has pretty pics, that is about it.
Running android lollipop and opens to main flash screen then goes black screen. Saw other reviews said fixed on server but not fixed for me
All I'm getting is a black screen. So much for Yahoo news being reliable. in reply to your reply, I found out about your app on Yahoo news. I am not confusing your app with other websites, thank you.
After the intro page/pic the screen goes black and nothing else happens. Running lollipop on Galaxy S4. UPDATE: Tried the app again and it's much better. Loads faster and is actually cool app. Can't wait to try the recipes.
it works now! Thanks! But I do not see how to bookmark a favorite recipe. ??
It gets to the title screen, then the screen goes black then nothing. UPDATE: App gets past the black screen now with a few seconds delay. At least it's accessible now. I suggest not using a black screen as loading screen. Now... I'm just waiting for my 2 nomiku wifi devices to be produced.
I get a black screen when I open it. Once the bugs get fixed, I'll try and re-download it.
Still not working. I have a moto g 2nd generation running lollipop 5.0.2. When I start the app it first shows the tender logo and then a black screen, but the phone does not crash. I am able to close the app normally from the task manager.
Everything loads on my nexus 5
When I start it up, I get the title screen ... And then black. Tried uninstalling and it restarts my phone. So I'm now stuck with a broken app.
As soon as I opened the app, there was an intro page and then blank.....
On note 4. Takes a moment to load, you'll see splash screen, then black screen, then loads. Thanks for quick response from tech support
App takes you to the beginning of all recipes after viewing any recipe making you have to scroll down to find where you left off
Black screen appears on start up???
I had same issue with black screen as I others the 1st time I opened it, but it's worked since then.
I get the splash screen and then just goes to a black screen and stays there.
After the intro page/pic the screen goes black and nothing else happens. Running lollipop on Galaxy S4
Appears to be a web app version of the website, effectively a bookmark. Not at all what I expected at this stage.
Please test on lollipop. Splash screen then it all goes black.
It gets to the title screen, then the screen goes black then nothing.
Same here slashscreen and then black
It gave a black screen. I waited, but nothing happens. I hope you can get it working soon!

Needs work. Not very intuitive. Every time I try to use it I end up getting frustrated and just dialing in the temp on the device itself. I'm not mad; it was free. I just don't see the point of the app (yet). I will keep trying. I'm very happy with the Nomiku circulator, fwiw.
