Did not warn me when my street was scheduled to be plowed and "no parking" signs went up, and also did not update during and after my street was plowed. Pretty useless, luckily I noticed the signs on my street in time. This is obvious, but you can't rely on this app, especially since it doesn't really do anything.

I would never fully trust this app to give me the right information. The info is delayed and the other day it was showing my ENTIRE area had no parking on both sides of the street. They never even realized it so they can fix it. There was no way of knowing if youre parked on the good side of the street since both sides showed scheduled snow loading. Thats just one example of how I would never trust this thing. Ive seen many other mistakes. Such a useful tool yet so deceiving.

The app has gotten a lot better since I last used it. One thing to mention though is that it is saying that it's for all burrows but it's not the case. Ile Bizard-Ste-Genevieve is not covered by the app when it is part of the city of Montreal.

More and more often ,it is not reflecting the right status and what is happening out on the streets. Status data for application is updated too late or not at all. Street is being cleared but application never warned of no parking signs going up or of ongoing operations at the moment. Great application but data not being kept up to date. Garbage IN, Garbage OUT. This application does not turn out to useful in the end._ March 17th 2017 _ Today the signs went up in our area and no update at all on the app.. so extremely very useless application. Too bad for la ville intelligente..... you should take it down from the Google Play so that people don't falsely rely on it and get their vehicle towed.

This year the app is a mess Wrong info like now it says that my street is not clear when the snow just melt n they clean it b4 And the cleaning was a mess 2 cause they left the ice that was under the snow so it was worst ????????

Why does this app ask for GPS location services after I say cancel. It should just remember my choice and stop asking every time the app is started. It knows where I am via networks. GPS is a battery killer.

Just a word of warning, almost all information is wrong. It's a great initiative, but poor execution. Hope this app improves.

City functionaries provide the data displayed by this app. Garbage in, garbage out?

Pire application de l'ère informatique. On peut aucunement se fier sur les données, alertes erronées on me dit que ma rue est "Cleared" et la charrue n'est pas passée et ça fait 3 jours que la pancarte orange est après le poteau et l'alerte sautille du rouge à orange à gris à rouge encore et maintenant c'est vert. FIX YOUR SHET!

Don't even bother downloading the app if you live in NDG (and, as I read in other comments, in other areas as well). So many times the data is inaccurate. I'm writing this review right now because the data is still wrong. The app says my street is scheduled for cleanup today 7h-19h while it was done yesterday evening in between 19h-7h. I complained to the city NUMEROUS times about it and nothing changed. I wonder if they really care ... The city of Montreal should STEP UP to their smart/digital city world leader statements. They could update the term of services of this app saying that the information IN THIS APP prevails from the posted signs. Then I'm sure they would make sure the data is accurate. ;) The app itself works pretty well (worth 4 stars). It's sad to see it gets bad reviews because of external causes but, let's face it, if the incoming data is unreliable the app itself is USELESS. Related to the app, I would like to be able to get notified of scheduled snow pickups based on my favorites. I don't like to save my current position every time I park my car. Knowing that either side of the street will have activity would be enough for my needs.

It shows the street status but unless I check myself it always fails to send me a notification even after reinstalling the app multiple times.

Completely useless as the city's administration.

Not accurate

I love this app. It was always accurate in my location. Updated and working properly. Does it work for summer street info also?

Completely unreliable. During the second-most-recent snow removal, I didn't receive any notifications. During the most-recent removal, my street (Rue Dorion northbound, between Ontario & Sherbrooke) never got any updates. It was "gray" the entire time, even though it got orange signs and had removal done. The street I DID park my car on that was "safe" (Rue Champlain southbound, between Ontario and Fontaine, where there were NO orange parking signs) sent me a notification that early evening was scheduled, and then another notification saying it was starting. I RAN the half-kilometer to my car, only to find the entire street was totally fine. No orange signs, no snow removal at all. I'm not sure where the app is receiving its data, but it's completely unreliable. Thus, it's completely unusable.

I almost got my car towed! App was showing snow removing scheduled for tomorrow but they were about to start. Fortunately I wen't outside and saw the towing truck doing its warning pass before starting to tow all cars. Fix your app please!

Update in realtime will be welcomed. I got a ticket because the app didn't show an ongoing operation

Bonne application, tres utile pour savoir quand bouger son auto. Un petit commentaire qui serait a ameliorer c'est qu'a chaque fois qu'on ouvre l'application, elle nous demande d'activer Device Location Service, et ce meme si on desactive la permission dans les settings d'Android. Autre chose, si on accepte d'ouvrir Device Location, l'application met ce setting en High Accuracy, ce qui consomme plus de batterie. J'aimerais avoir le choix de ne pas utiliser ce setting et de rester en Battery Saving mode.

I love this app and I have started to use it right after it was launched and with very limited data yet published. The app helps me tremendously through out the winter and from V1 to V2 just got a lot better.

Car was towed when my street was unscheduled. Like most Montreal services this is a garbage app.

USELESS! Just got myself $120 ticket because of relying on it.

Very good app. But almost got towed because I was relying on the app to let me know, like it did previous snow loading operations. It did not. Also, keeps showing me Africa for a couples of seconds before moving to Montreal. Planning to sell the app there or something? Should start with different default coordinates.

I strongly recommend INFO-Neige to anyone living in Montreal, even if you don't own a car! My girlfriend lives out of town and hesitated to drive to my house last snowfall. The app gave me proper confirmation that the city would remove the snow on the other side of the street the next morning, which convinced her to drive down! Got lucky :D

They cleared both sides of my street today but only had signs up the day before for the left side. I did not see any signs on the right side around 4pm when i got home today but went to move it to the left for when they decide to clear it. Apparently, it was cleared at 10pm, My car was towed and ticketed. I hope this app will help notify me when they decide to be douches and only give a few hours notice. I am not even sure if they put up signs. ...will up/lower the stars when i test it.

It's a good app but this is now the second snowfall where the removal information is/was incorrect. The street I'm on was cleared last night but the app just updated and said it's scheduled for today. Had I not gone out to check, I would have been towed.

Street sides seem to have been fixed (where before they were inverted).Vehicle (My position) marker could also contain which side of the street the car is located, ie: North, South, East or West side of the street. Have yet to receive timely notifications.......but, good so far...

Aside from being laggy, the app works well as do the notifications!

I can see some improvements and it is getting better and better as users test and give feedback. The app is useful.

Should have read the reviews. Should have known the city of Montreal wouldn't make something that actually works. A 158$ lesson.

Impressively bad execution. My app was updated tonight (after a snow storm) and now it won't even open. Useless.
