Hemmings Motor News

Been a Hemmings subscriber on and off for 35 years. They know a ton about old cars, but I suspect that software development isn't one of their strong suits. This app is basically unusable as a method of reading and navigating. You can't just browse, as its godawful slow. You can make the pages any larger, which means you can't actually see what you're looking at. The icons that are presented are insane, as they don't mean anything, and seem to do random things, like unload the content, or take you back to the beginning, or some other kooky action. Which in a 500 page book, is just idiotic.

On iOS, this is a fully functional classifieds search tool, that works very well, and doesn't require a login account or subscription. The version for android merely presents thumbnails of the issue covers, and nothing else (functional). There is a row of 4 icons at the bottom, but they're non-functional. If you search, you get nothing. If you click on a thumbnail, you get a login page. I uninstalled it, and will check back another time to see if it's been given feature parity with the other version.

terrible experience on older android, slow, frequently does not load at all, few options, offline worse, disappointed.

Downloaded this app after getting a digital subscription to HMN. Followed instructions and worked with customer service, app will not authenticate login. Can log in find on line using web browser.

Next months issue is out before this one downloads , get the paper copy !!!!

This app is great for anyone who subscribes to the Hemmings Motor News Digital Editions. Gives subscribers access to download any or all of the issues that have been made available via their digital version and that is a lot of magazines.

The android version will not authenticate while the same login works fine online.
