Galaxy_S Unlock

Works for new galaxy s2, ICS version 4.0.3. Make sure your phone is rooted (when choosing kernel to flash, out of the many available, choose the one that matches the PDA code in your phone info. I.e. for mine i had version lpd, so i Googled xxlpd/xwlpd root sgs 2. Follow instructions on good tutorial. Busy box.should.be.opened once downloaded and installed from within the app.

This app successfully unlocked my Galaxy S3 (gt-i9300), just after I upgraded it to run Android 5.1 (yes you can!). It took a few minutes before it worked, and the screen did indeed go black, but you could use other apps on the phone whilst it unlocked it.

Did have 4.0.1 but updated to 4.2.2 and lost it. I run step 1 and 2 with no signal so reboot as instructed and its still locked up with code screen still in place. Tryd doing step 3 before reboot after reboot the lot still not working. Any ideas would be nice as its a great tool hence the 4* rating

I have a Samsung Galaxy s2 which was locked to T-Mobile. I tried an app called Galaxy s2 unlock which took about 45 mins and didn't work! This app did it in a minute and didn't even require the phone to restart !!! My text messages just started to come through :) Very impressed Thank you. Would recomend to anyone.

All u have to do is 1) root your phone 2) download this app 3) download busybox & INSTALL 4) start this app & click steps 1&2 and just wait for it to finish.. then test using another sim.. thats it! U also need internet connection.. thanks a lot!!!

Didn't work for my ex-Virgin Galaxy S2 GT-I9100M. The program is extremely easy step by step with appropriate safety in backups that will reverse process if it is unsuccessful or wish to return to original state. I read enough successes on the boards to know it is probably more about carrier/device (or me LOL) and not program so giving 4 stars for the effort involved so hats of to Helroz thanks for your and everyone else's contributions.

I Had restored my nv_data files to fix my missing IMEI but then the phone wanted to To Be unlocked because im on a different carriers sim. This app fixed the Problem thanks.

Not the smoothest app, took a couple tries to get it to work, but in the end I got the phone unlocked. Definitely donating.

I cant proceed because error not saved appears in step 1 and step 2 says proceed to stop 1. Please reply or fix. I would gave a five star and donation fix ASAP. Thanks

Works like a charm for my SGS 2!! Go through steps 1 and 2. After step 2 the screen might go black. Dont worry. I thought it didn't work cos there were no indications. Rebooted with the new sim and voila!! 5 stars!

Those who have not rated this apparently 5 Star are bunch of noobs. Anyway here checklist b4 u use the app. > Your Phone must be rooted. > Make sure you have SD card installed. > Install / Update BusyBox. Then run Step 1 and Step 2 to unlock the phone.

Success on android 4.0.3 I9100P locked to o2. Not quite sure how it does it when others fail. Still ok after reboot. Would like to know if it will remain unlocked? Good work!

doesnt seem to work on my gt-i9100.. i dont get a message for succesful unlock.. and phone is still locked *edit: works now. but unlock is reset at startup. (running on newest firmware)

First and foremost the app works, and and it's free! I followed a youtube vid and successfully unlocked the phone. The issues I had were I had to revert to an android 2.2 to get it to work, and also during the unlocking process the phone was supposed to reset... But mine didn't. I the English is poor which was confusing but thankfully there was no problem and my phone wasn't bricked! I thoroughly recommended.

The older version of this app was great on my galaxy s, but the latest version doesn't work! It won't get passed step one. Keeps saying efs not saved. Please fix.

This app worked well for my S2. At first it didn't actually work so I had to uninstall it, update my busy box and reinstall it. It wouldn't do step 1 at first so I couldn't get anywhere. If you are having the same problem, try updating your busy box by installing it from the play store. Anyway nice app thanks for making!

my phone was unlocked. but for some reason it asks me for a network unlock code after I tried new ROM. struggled to find a solution until I downloaded this app. awesome!

Galaxy S locked to T-Mo UK. Was working fine. Used the app to generate a code, and input this code when prompted - having put in a different SIM Card to the locked network one. The phone told me it was successfully unlocked, however now it wont register on any network. It shows the network name in the pull down area, but I get a blue No Entry sign in the toolbar and can't make or receive calls or use data. Really not good, use at your own peril as I now have a useless phone.

After some manipulation of custom rom, I had the following message: "Enter Network Lock Control Key" I couldn't find any solution... Your super apply solve it for me after 6h of usless uploading rom and rebooting/wiping.. Just thank you... you are my only review I did since I began with Android ( more or less 3years), I dedicate it to you my hero...

i ve used this but it seems not working..i ve inserted a SIM from another network and still ask for a SIM CODE..i ve put continue and seems not working. galaxy S2 portugal. but 5 stars for the developer work..:) if you could help i would appreciate it.

The English blog "help" no longer seems to work. So may be amazing but needs a very simple explanation for most people to be able to use. The french one translated was no help to me either.

Just saved $35 that stores charge for unlocking GS2, all it took 3 button presses and s restart. GS2 IM9100 from Bell Canada. Outstanding app.

Somehow my phone locked itself after a rom flash. Unlocking didn't work at first, but after I used ODIN to go back to stock, it worked perfectly.

I had to use this as the telco provided code didn't work for my sgs. Using this app I had it work first try after a reboot after step two. Thank you very very much.

Did exactly what I needed it to after installing CM10 on a Samsung Galaxy S and being asked for a network PIN on boot.

For SGH-I777 model it is getting unlocked.But if i restart the phone any time then it is getting locked again.So every time after restarting my phone i have to run this app to get it unlocked.

I've tried everything, every stock kernel/Rom combo from 2.3.6 - 4.0.4. I don't know what's going on. Please help, I am stuck using a flip phone on T Mobile instead of my Note. :/

tried [root] Galaxy S2 SIM Unlock first - couldn't find my unlock code....so tried to extract nv_data to do a hex decode to get the unlock code....too much trouble. found this and ran steps 1 and 2, then restarted and BOOM!!!! unlocked. magic. thanks xxx running 2.3.3 GB on SGS2 from TMO UK, now on prepaid TMO USA :D *happy girl*
