Hello Vino - Wine Guide

Like being able to have my own library of what we drank. Would have given more stars BUT many bugs! Can use my own library pictures. Can't delete faulty entries in library. Receive messages that can't be read from the app.

Very limited information. What's there is decent and will serve a novice well, but they'll soon grow out of it. Additionally, there are some issues with the app and solid black screens from time to time. Really not sure what I got by purchasing the premium version...

I purchased unlimited scans and app doesn't work on new phone. Tried to contact Customer Service multiple times, received No Response! Do not waste $$ on this App they don't stand behind there product!!! BEWARE!!

One of the biggest draws to this app was the ability to scan and take a pic of a label and then it will give you info....except you have to buy scan packages. Screw that. There's plenty of other apps that will do it for free.

After switching phones it lost my wines

Beautiful looking app. Good info storage capacity and clean look. Needs an actual profile for when installed on other devices. Needs more interaction on ratings by other people

Overall its a decent wine app. However the phone version doesn't give enough real estate to your personal wine list. The layout is crowded buy a large menu bar at the bottom and huge useless top display. Also the phone version doesn't allow rotation horizontally. It's weird because in the tablet version out doesn't allow vertical. Also when you delete a wine it just reappears. I like the tablet version a bit more. Also, though you can share your wines with other devices. The custom images you enter are not.

When using the app, pages layer on my screen, making it difficult to use. Would be my perfect wine app if I could read it. Will purchase app and scans if corrected.

I paid for the unlimited labels and it doesn't work. I requested a refund to which I never heard a response. I would still like my refund please

I like the app to keep track of my own preferences, but I'm not able to load pictures that I took from my camera, and pictures that I previously took and uploaded are no longer showing. Overall not a huge deal but it would be nice if it worked, especially for special edition Civil War labels from local Virginia wineries.

I love this app, I paid for unlimited label scans and for no ads (I am expanding my pallet and love keeping my wine notes in here) but I am still seeing ads! If I paid to remove them I should not still be seeing them.

I absolutely love this app... As a new wine drinker, one is learning so much from the guide; as well as the food pairing. However, the app tends to give me issues with opening it once I've gone out of it. Kindly attend to this. Other than that, it's really great!

Content of the app is good. Some limitations with wine selections and pairings, but has all the basics covered and is easy to use. Poor customer service. I have sent multiple emails to customer support with a question and have not heard anything back for several weeks. I am quite disappointed with this service.

Some pairing suggesttions are close to the mark whereas others are just just downright awful. As an example: the suggested pairing for the ethnic Indian dish Korma is a Sauvignon Blanc. Korma is a rich, mild and creaming dish that predates the introduction of chilies to the Sub-continent. This fragrantly spiced dish is well-partnered by an unoaked or lightly wooded Chardonnay, but first prize would go to a Viognier. The suggested Sauvignon Blanc with its high acidity would clash with this cream-rich dish.

Sometimes the app doesn't save pictures from my gallery. The search results are also sometimes unresponsive, and editing the saved wines can be a little non-intuitive; for instance when I save a wine after searching, I have to exit that screen before finding it in the "Wines" tab to rate it. I should be able to edit right there when I save. That being said, it's a visually appealling app and a fun way to keep track of which wines I like.

This app is amazing and is helping me to feel like a sommelier. Only problem - I'm constantly getting notifications that the app has stopped working (when I haven't even opened it) - and especially when in airplane mode. It's incredibly annoying. Otherwise, love the app.

scanner feature doesn't return any results

Talks about wine scans and what it can do but it NEVER mentions that scans COST MONEY. Waste of time downloading. Uninstalling this scammer.

If you are just learning about pairing wine and food, this is great! Pairings are fairly generic if you are past the basics but still helpful!

The app closes and crashes when I try to use it. Fix it and I'll be happy to change my rating. Till then your product sucks and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I mainly want to log and share my wines. The keyboard doesnt go away when you click out, share just doesn't work, buy doesnt seem to work either. Besides all the little things, it's useable.

I've used Hello Vino for quite some time. I paid the price and upgraded to the ad free version & I also paid for unlimited wine scans. Ever since the last update (which looks like a whole new app) I have NOTHING. I have ads, I have NO wine scans and when I try to get into my account all the app does is tell me, "OK, you're in. Check your email for blah, blah, blah". Needless to say, even after several attempts, I have never received an email. Don't waste your money or time!

It asks for purchase right on first label scan. Idiots.

Used to love this app but since the last upgrade it won't upload photos from my gallery or my camera anymore & it used to :(

Paid extra to scan labels. This was free. App crashed each time I tried to use. DO NOT BUY

I paid for the 5 lable scans. My first attempt was on a Vietti Barbera D'Alba Vigna Scarrone. It couldn't find it and said a real person was looking it up. At this point Google had automatically found it. I then got a message back saying my wine couldn't be found and I should revise my search. Of course, it didn't give me my scan back. Rip off.

I had purchased the old version and had unlimited scans and lost them with the update. I advised and sent email with proof of purchase and just got ignored.
