I've been looking for an app like this for a long time....it's everything I could want and more

They banned for me talking about ai weiwei and tiananmen. Dirty commie pigs.

It doesn't cost THAT much, but I think it could even be free for what it offers as a premium user. For example, let us at least keep our whole conversation without having to pay for it.

Amazing and very useful! Easy to use. A great way to communicate with other people around the world while learning their native language and culture.

I finding app can help to learned foreign languages, it hard to learned unfamiliar language & studied by myself, so I finding app like this, this is good but unfortunately this size 35.54 mb & when you used it is 86.10 mb , i am so afraid that i cant used my phone soon, i cant uninstalled this app because this app can help me to learned languages, its eating big space my storage is full now , i really need this but my phone is full, it cant moved in sd card and eating big memory ,

It's a great app with a lot of friendly people eager to learn a different language. So far I give it a 5☆ Keep it up!

It's a good app, you dun have to be friends to like other's post, and really it's from that that you make friends through common interest or just a simple message.

It's an amazing app. It gives you an opportunity to practise using the language you're learning with native speakers, just sitting at home and for free. The process of practising languages and improving communicational skills has never been this easy and convenient. I totally recommend it)

Just start using it…It's a good app but it's a pity that it doesn't have extra native language to choose. My country have three compulsory language, it's mean I have three native languages, doesn't count in my two different dialect. But the app only gives you one native language to choose…

I want to change my learning language. I did, just to experiment, so they told me to wait a day before I could change it back. Okay. Fine. It's been a day. It's 14th of March, and it's telling me that I'll be able to change back languages on 14th of March??? A bit annoying if you ask me. Otherwise I love this app but.

I did stop useing it for about 2 months or so i guees and was there many updates and u change the app not for learning anymore just to make money this app was a Great 1 but now not at all And now when i did open my acc in hello_talk i see that i'm not permitted to send any messages any more and u said that i have fake identity. I did ask u to answer me about what fake identity i have but there's no answer... i has contacted tean hello-talk and i did send email it's the samething no answer. I still waiting for your replay

This app is great but I have a problem. I've set my native language as Hindi but I'm only fluent in speaking and not reading and writing, but whenever I try to translate the other person's text it translates to Hindi. How can I change this to English?

Cool way to communicate and learn. Easy to make friends from all over and you can control everything that's put out there on the app from who talks to you, what they talk about and your location. Really great language app.

If you're in the same boat I was, then this app is a must have. Finding people that you can interact with and practice the language you are learning was a big issue for me. (Finding a japanese person where I live is close to impossible) Thanks to this app I no longer have that problem. I will admit I was nervous at first, afraid of making mistakes, but everyone I have encountered is really helpful. No one is perfect when starting out a language, besides making mistakes is the best way to learn and everyone is there to learn. Just be sure to return the help when given the chance.

WHY DO CHATS NOT SAVE UNDER MY ACCT? If i switch from my phone to my tablet, NONE OF THE RECENT CHATS APPEAR and I have to go back to my phone to remember, and then whatever chats I have on my tablet don't appear on my phone. BASIC FEATURE LIKE EMAIL AND OTHER APPS SHOULD BE MULTIDEVICE..THIS IS STUPID!!!

This is an amazing app! I was so apprehensive when checking it out. I've only been using it for about four days, I've learned so much in this short time.

I think the app is wonderful so far and it seems to only want to keep improving it. I've met nice people who want to learn English and want to help me learn japanese. In Japan they seemed more interested in just learning English.

This app is amazing! It's so easy to connect to people willing to teach. It's also great as it allows you to keep notes of what was said in the messages and organise them in the favourites section through the tags. I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to learn a new language.

I can easily talk to people and the communications are fine. Though the speakers and translators are a bit glitchy from time to time. (I am learning Japanese)

Learn the languages you like but be wary of the other users! Don't give personal information out to those who cannot be trusted.

The user interface is great. There are people from everywhere just like me who are struggling to learn a new language, so this is an awesome way to boost your learning curve!

So if my accont is hacked why do I still loose my accont? I should not have lost my accont.

i regret that i hit on the update button... i don't like the latest update on 'favourite'. i like it to be like before, with the sorted and tagged columns for 'voice,corrections and random fav'.. the latest one is so messy.....with hundreds of sorted 'favourite' things done before,now had mixed up with each other... what is this

I accidentally un-install my hellotalk app. (Also the account) And when i download it again. It says hellotalk allows one account per device. But I already delete my original account. How can I sign up again? Altough it's a really good app. And it helps me to teach different languages. It's so useful. So please how to solve this? -,-

The community is awesome!!! The app isn't that good, more like Twitter for language Learners, ads and stuff

I've been using this app since 2 years now and it helped me a lot to learn new language, meeting new friends etc. I really love it and I met at least few people from Japan and Turkey. I met them in real life and it was just awesome and great experience. No words to describe! HOWEVER, I have SMALL issue that I am dealing with this app. 1) I closed my very first account and I cannot recover it anymore. Basically I made a 2nd one which I blame myself for this and its kinda unfortunate that they dont have an option to recover or to stop the process to delete the account. For example: "you have 15-30 days left and your account will be permanently deleted". If they added features like this, many people would be satisfied. 2) It would be useful if they added a search bar to type name of that person. Its impossible for me to find the people I used to hang out with it. 3) changing language, not sure what happend but for some reason I cannot change my language because of the 2 days. I have waited and followed the instructions and suddenly it still said 2 days. Huh? Like what is actually going on? I don't understand this. Is it a small bug or what could it be? The rest is all good. Just keep up the work. :)

There are so many people using this app! I definitely think more people should use it too. Learning a lot by using the app; way more than I expected. The app's tools are very useful and the interface is nice to use. Highly recommended!

Very interactive app for learning languages, but unfortunately event hough I backed up my chat history it wasn't there when I tried to download it on to my new phone

I have met some awesome people from across the world on this all. I enjoy talking to different people of different cultures and learning about them. And this app has lots of features to let you do that!

Great app. Many wonderful, useful features. The phone function could work a bit better and I don't agree with censoring communication but other than that, it's a great app.
