Helicon Books EPUB3 reader for Android
Doesn't display books correctly.
I have a book and yours is the first reader to be able to display it properly and the menu works. The videos appear and let me click play but the video doesn't actually play. Any suggestions?
The only book it will open is the help manual it ships with. Tried several other .epub format books and it spins endlessly trying to format for display. The available settings are very simplistic, similar to the Kindle app. No color selections, no page turn with volume key, etc. There are MANY better ebook readers available.
Love the app! Very easy and comfortable to read! Works fluently !
I tried opening an eBook my son's kindergarten teacher made with the work he's been doing (mostly photos of his drawings with some embedded audio). This is first app I've tried that refused to open it! Others did, with varying degrees of success (usually the images were mis-aligned or incorrectly sized). The problem is I need to find one that can play the embedded audio!
Excellent functionality for a free app. Pops up footnotes, not many Android readers do that. There's a huge audience waiting to ditch iOS iBooks if there's a decent ePub 3 reader for Android.
Also displays works great with JavaScript and SVG.
The font used for the Library is huge. I can only see two books at a time. I can see no way of changing it.

The easiest to use reading application I've seen on Android. I tried it with several books, the only problem I found was that on some of the books I could not reach the table of contents.

Formats a complex book well, and MathML seems to work well. Can't seem to zoom in on images though, nor change page with volume keys (or just tapping on one side of the screen). I'll keep looking, but may come back...
