About CamControl Android
CamControl Android is an operation and alarm verification software for all smartphones and tablets with Android OS. This app allows live video transmission of HeiTel VideoGateways and ADPRO FastTrace systems and remote evaluation of HeiTel VideoGateways local video archives. The app offers remote control of PTZ and dome cameras and relays. The HeiTel own effective picture compression (HTcompress) provides high frame rates, also at low bandwidths.

App will connect an display for a few seconds then it locks. Works fine on Apple ios but not good on android. As a field engineer it's part of my toolkit and really need to to work to support customers. Any chance of a fix urgently please.

Camcontrol worked once then nothing at all, the instructions are sparce going to none, then it took ages to work once, our company uses Samsung S2 and smart phones to work the cams which means we cannot use this on site.

Hi, this does work, but it is not 100%. I have an S3 and once I click connect and the screen goes blank. I long press the home button to get the list of running apps and then click on CamControl. When it comes back up it is 100% working (full frame rate) . I have 3 cameras and can choose all of them and change the quality. I do not have PTZ function on my cameras so I do not know if this works. Could do with an update...but otherwise very useful...

Connects to sites then freezes images. App darkens screen when connecting and freezes images have to close app down and clear ram. Can only keep live by constantly tapping screen

On my Nexus range of products this app will not stay open for very long.l If you leave it for a couple of seconds then the device locks and you have to disconnect and reconnect to the camera after unlocking. If it wasn't for this bug, the app would be a great app!
