台灣護理學會

台灣護理學會成立於民國3年（西元1914年），第一屆全國護士大會在上海召開時訂名為「中華護士會」。1932年向政府正式登記為人民團體時奉命以「中華護士學會」名稱立案。1942年更名為「中國護士學會」重新向政府登記立案人民團體。1960年在台北登記為「中華民國護士學會」，1961年更名為「中華民國護理學會」，並於2002年5月更名為「台灣護理學會」沿用至今。
本會於1922年加入國際護理協會（International Council of Nurses, ICN），1949年遷台後曾與該會中斷聯繫，於1961年恢復會籍。ICN總會設在瑞士日內瓦，理事會每四年改選一次。ICN理事會設理事長1人、副理事長3人、理事11人，本會自1997年至今在理事會中皆佔有一理事席次，並於2001年由余玉眉博士當選ICN第三副理事長，2009年由尹祚芊博士當選ICN第二副理事長，2013年由李選博士當選ICN理事。
本會積極參與ICN所舉辦的各項活動，活躍於國際舞台。2005年，以地主國身分舉辦ICN國家代表會議暨23屆國際護士大會，共計148個國家四千多位貴賓參與盛會。2008年，於本會國際會議廳召開第九屆ICN亞洲人力論壇與第五屆亞洲護理學會聯盟會議。2011年，本會與ICN共同辦理國際認證暨法規論壇（Credentialing and Regulators Forum），共14國44位護理法規制定者及ICN代表及多國的衛生部護理官員共同參加。學會推動務實護理專業外交不遺餘力、成果豐碩，也大大地提昇本會在國際間的地位、能見度與護理專業形象，更為台灣護理留下許多歷史性的精采實錄。 Taiwan Nurses Association was set up in three years (AD 1914), the first session of the National Assembly when the nurses held in Shanghai under the title "Chinese nurses will." When in 1932 the government officially registered as mass organizations were ordered to "Chinese Nurses Association," the name on file. 1942 changed its name to "China Nurses Association" re-register with the government and people's organizations filing. 1960 in Taipei to register as "ROC Nurses Association" in 1961 changed its name to "ROC Nursing Association", and in May 2002 changed its name to "Taiwan Nurses Association," still in use.
This will join the International Council of Nurses (International Council of Nurses, ICN) in 1922, moved to Taiwan in 1949 after breaking off contact with the Society has restored the membership in 1961. In 2005, the identity of the host country to country representatives held ICN International Nurses Conference and 23th General Assembly, a total of 148 countries participated in the event more than four thousand guests. In 2008, the convening of the Ninth Asian Human ICN Nursing Society Forum and the Fifth Asian Alliance meeting at the International Conference Hall. In 2011, the Council and the ICN common regulations for international certification cum forum (Credentialing and Regulators Forum), a total of 14 countries 44 nursing regulatory makers and ICN representatives and officials of the Ministry of Health Care multinational joint participation.
