Music Player (Remix)

I bet that I could get a free music player that works better than this one. First, it plays the same songs everyday. I walk 1-2 hours and hear about 50% of the same songs everyday, I have 800 songs on my phone and like everyone of them. Second, when you try and fast forward to the next song you didn't hear the day before it gets stuck on one song and takes me 5 minutes to find the main menu to switch back to shuffle, which sucks while you are trying to get some exercise. Third, why did they hide the main menu, I have a Samsung S7 Edge and have a heck of a time trying to find the menu to reset my shuffle.

I searched high and low for an app that allowed me to jump backwards and forwards by short increments (e.g. 5 seconds, 30 seconds, etc.), and this is the one I finally settled on. I'm now on my third phone with this app. My one complaint is that the settings don't carry over from the trial version to the paid version. If I configure the trial app to my liking, later when I buy it, I have to start all over again.

I first got introduced to this product on the Palm Pre's. Loved it then and I purchased it now for my Android devices (now a Blackberry Priv). But, been getting several malfunctions. For one, in the middle of creating my playlists, it no longer can find any music. I have to shut it down and reboot. This has been happening frequently lately and is very annoying. Need this fixed. I will give it 4 stars but that is a generous rating.

It's really good with everything besides the shuffle mode. When I set it to shuffle it picks like 6 songs and repeats them over and over, out of a playlist of over 100 songs. It's annoying, I liked the app enough to pay for it, but to listen to a shuffled playlist, I have use a different app.

This was a great player (5 star) but now it is not worth the money I paid for it. They disabled the downloading lyric feature and it no longer shows the lyrics that are embedded in the MP3s. Look elsewhere for a music player.

Great poweruser app, especially for podcasts and mixes. Can add bookmarks within track and instantly jump to them. Saves your spot in track. Autoplay on start option.

Still my go to for playing files locally. It just works.

This app was amazing when I first got it, until the shuffling got reworked and started shuffling your entire playlist instead of randomly selecting a track from the alphabetically ordered library. You can still get it to work properly if you load up your entire library and then manually change the playlist to shuffle, but that's far from ideal while on the road, and worse still it seems to still play the next consecutive track before actually shuffling. Lyrics broke a while back too. Used to be 5/5.

Playing music via Chromecast does NOT work properly. Every time I try to play a song from an artist that has multiple songs, it point blank refuses to play that particular song and instead runs though every other song by that artist in quick succession with no music playing until it reaches the last song and just plays that instead. It ONLY does this when connected to my Chromecast Audio. This needs fixing ASAP.

While using the app the screen will go black and I have no control at all. After restart it will work fine for a while. Also since I installed I have been unable to get any lyrics to download. Been a long time user of your app, WebOS days, nice work on this version. Device is an S6.

Love this player, great sound & easy to use apart from one thing I am having trouble with & that is how do I locate my SD card & import the music from it so I can create play list?? I would gladly give 5 stars if I could sort this out. I am planning on using this player/app for my gigs as I am a vocalist so obviously I need to access all my tracks & create & save my set lists.

I've tried a many music players. This is one of the few ones with a search button just a swipe away. When I come across an artist I like during shuffle mode, I can look at the artists songs or album lists with a single click. "Play next", "Add to queue", simple functions that are sometimes hard to come by. As an amateur musician, bookmarking certain sections of songs is an absolute treasure to have. This and the ability to skip forward or backwards 5, 30 or 60 seconds with the touch of a button.

This is definitely the best music player that I've found, but it can't play embedded lyrics. Do you think you could add that in as a feature?

One of my favorite apps. Easy to use, lots of different functions and does far more than other music players. There is a trial version if you're unsure, but when you play around with it you'll more than likely want the full version. Love the 5, 30, 60 second rwd/ffwd feature and that I can open it over other apps.

This app is fantastic, the only problem, and it's a pretty big annoyance, is that when on random it will play the same song many times on a playlist and never hits all of them. I wish it was programmed to play every song once on random. You can only hear the same song repeatedly on a run so many times before it slowly drives you insane.

By far the easiest app I've found for auto getting music cover art and editing tags!Not to mention a very classy music player,top notch dev!!!!!!!!

Has all the functions I need and then some. Developer updates the app and is very responsive. 5 star worthy.

Nice app but will not play music when I try to Chrome-cast to my TV. All other chrome cast apps work perfectly. When I cast music using this app, when the song opens, the counter changes to the negative of the length of the song and nothing plays. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been using it for years and consider it to be the best app so far. It has anything I could want, especially the 'skip 5, 30 or 60 seconds' buttons, rearranging current playlist and popping up from every app. But, I've just rooted and upgraded my phone and run cyanogenmod 12. Upon installing I get the error message "audio fx has stopped" every second. (!) this unfortunately renders it useless for me. Hope it's fixable.

I love the app but this big disc right in the middle cant see the background. Is annoying.

... hands down. Worth every cent. It's the only music app I'll ever use.

I can actually call this a "fun" mp3 player app. I dig the customizable backgrounds, and such. The 'shuffle' functions are a bit predictable, though. Otherwise, a player I'll use for a while. That's saying alot.

A quick note, I generally don't review mobile apps, but this one gets a rare exception. The S4 stock media player was no longer cutting it, and I desperately needed a replacement. Downloaded the trial and within 30 minutes bought the app. Thank you for being one of the last few developers who grasps UI design. The built in wiki references are inspired. I really wish the app had gapless playback and maybe the option to show play control buttons, but regardless, the app is still miles better than any other.

Loving it so far. The layout is not what I'm used to; however, the more I use it, the more I realize it's superior.

Won't allow skip/rewind since system update. Always happens when finally decide to buy an app. Uninstall for now.

I've been using this app on WebOS for a while, and now it can be my goto music app on android. Very feature rich but not as pretty as the WebOS version. Well... you can't have everything from android.

I enjoy this player, and love the swipe up control. My issue was addressed and resolved by the developer within hours. Great job, and thank you!
