SatTrack for Android
The actual data is taken from www.heavens-above.com. They did a great job so check out their website too.
This is NOT the official www.heavens-above.com Android application although the name may suggest this.

Use this often
Crashes instantly on new galaxy s7
Compass only shows "E"
Please bring back cardinal points on compass display for 5 stars... Thank you...
Its poo
This app was great. Now the compass display useless. That's important because it's the best display for finding the satellite in the sky. The compass has no direction information on it, there is a large unexplained square in it, the maximum altitude markers appear OFF the paths, and all the paths of the satellites are lines (they use to be accurate curves). Use the Heavens Above app instead of this one.
I give it 3 stars because it looks like a lot of thought and work went into it. I lack the knowledge required to understand how to use it.
Far to complicated and isn't showing sats that I know are going over. Keeps saying your location isn't configured yet even though I keep pressing the button to set location. ISS and Iridium are going over in 2 hours but this thing isn't showing anything for 4hrs. Ads all over the place. This thing is a real mess.
Doesn't seem to be compatible with my HTC one as there's no markings on the compass. Looks fine on tablet though.
Have to uninstall and reinstall to make it work. This also means moving from the sd card every time for the widget and going through countless settings.
I've used it to photograph Iridium flares and overhead passes of the ISS. It is also very helpfull for HAM satellites.
The automatic pass notifications work for a few days. After that they stop working altogether. This has been an ongoing issue for years. Fix this and it would be 5 stars.
Great app usually but broken in latest update. Widget vanished and notifications not working.
Compass doesn't have directions anymore, i.e., N, S, E or W..
Crashes every time a Sat is selected
Excellent
Good
Stopped working on Note 3
Must have app for any space nut!!!
I'd love a design update, but the app works great and I use it often to identify satellites or plan a satellite observation.
Works as described and has nice features to alert you before visible passes, and help you know where to look. Well done.
I use it all the time
Not working now and freezes when refreshed. Gutted as the kids wanted to see Santa (ISS) fly over tonight!
Excellent application.
What's the point on having night mode of the ads running are not doing the same? Defeats the purpose!
Seems to cover all my needs. Tracking across sky, tracking around the earth, compass, brightness, info about object (satellite, rocket body,...). Filters out daylight hours (though also filters our daylight iridium flares - so loss of one star)
Worked well on my old Huawei g300 Data fails to load on HTC 1 uninstalled pending fix?
No longer retrieves Sat info or location.
small, handy resourcefull app .. but tons of data dont load .. any info or maps ..
There's a couple of things missing from this application which would give it a 5 star ratings. The ability to search for and separately select from the database the satellites you want listed. This would allow one to easily build a unique list of relevant satellite and associated passes. Next having "individual satellite pass setting" to filter the passes you want and dont want. Finally, the ability to lock the compass in always facing up position to match our azimuth and elevation controller for satellite data downlink during a pass. These features would make the app more useable to those of us using our "tablets" docked, and manually tracking the sat with our antennas, from a radio room, not visually watching the sat as it goes by.
Used to work great, now it never displays any satellite passes.
Very cool app!
Great app!
As a free app, this works great. It does not have the augmented reality style of tracking, but the preferable compass based method. I suppose it is personal preference, but this style of tracking allows a better sense of what you can see, where you can see it, and when. It would be cool to see the navigation buttons dim or hide during "night mode", as currently, they stay lit up. (Nexus 5, 4.4.4)
It does not appear that this will ever be addressed. Nexus 5.
My "go to" app the first app I use when I'm looking for illusive iridium flares. The compass and projected path of satellites makes it fool proof.
Widget has suddenly disappeared from my home screen and the widget list. Reinstall hasn't sorted it
Back to 3 stars now because the tracking info and the satellite information has stopped working since the last two updates . Tried uninstalling and installing but no joy.
This is an app you must have!

It used to be excellent but now says location is not set and keeps crashing. Unusable until fixed!
