hearTV for Android
Works sort of as advertised but sound is delayed from voices on screen and there are constant little cut outs in the sound. I have tried all the different channels but with no improvement. For $99.00 this device is not worth it.
The sound quality is pretty average and I found that it drops out every now and again. Good for TV but not so good for music videos.
Great app

Truly love this app for my clients as they can use it anywhere anytime and is very easy to be installed. Looking forward to what else they have to offer in the near future.
This is an excellent app, compatible with a very good technology ... if you understand what you are downloading. This app has one purpose in life: it connects you to a HearTV network, so you can hear whatever audio source has been piped to that network. Typically, that's a TV. You're in a crowded and loud sports bar, with 12 games showing on 12 different TVs. If the sports bar has installed a HearTV transmitter, this app will allow you to connect to it, and listen to the game you care about through your smartphone or tablet headphones. Wonderful! Or you can buy a HearTV transmitter (HearTV Home or HearTV Pro) for your home, connect it to the TV in your living room and your home wifi, and use the app to walk around your house anywhere there's good wifi signal, listening to the TV as you get chores done. Or mute your bedroom TV so your spouse can sleep while you listen via HearTV. So, the app is only part of the picture. Don't download the app thinking without a transmitter it'll connect to your TV, and then give the app 1 star. That's like buying a car and giving it one star because it doesn't fly.
I was at sports bar and restaurant in South Bay that had a hearTV system and was able to watch and listen in to an NBA Playoff Game at the bar top through my HP's. Also was able to connect to 4 other TV's so it was easy to scroll from one TV to the other. Nice app.
Can watch TV quietly when it uses speakephone. Make Bluetooth available please!
I am originally from Portland, Oregon and now live in tempe, AZ - I wanted to watch the Blazer game the other day at cold Beers and Cheeseburgers with friends that wanted to watch hockey and I was able to use the app and listen to the Blazer game instead! Yeah, love it!
This sucks
Error: something about not found on LAN. No way to change that. Some explanation of what it would take to get the TV's sound to be streamed to phone while the wireless headphone batteries are charging, this app could be useful. Samsung non internet TV connected to LAN connected Samsung media player
I have used this while traveling for business in Arizona, and I convinced the owners to send me one for my wife, so when she is cleaning the house she can listen to TV. Oh, and I use it while she is sleeping so it's quiet. Great Job guys.
I can finally listen to the game I want to listen to. I was at Lagasse's Stadium in Las Vegas , they have over 40 TVs and I really wanted to listen to the LA Kings hockey game instead of the college basketball game they were playing aloud. The manager told me to download this app and I would be able to listen to any of their TVs. Worked like magic and simple to use. I have a new Samsung Note 4 had no problems what so ever. Can't wait for HearTV to be at more locations.
Doesn't work on my brand new samsung, useless
Only gave it one star as no stars wasn't an option.
Do not waste your time. Does not work.
This sucks
Useless
There are cheaper FM transmitter I can use, why use this?
Does not pick up my smart TV
Can't adjust volume. HTC One MAX

Please don't rate HearTv without fully understanding what it is. You have to be connected to a HearTv WiFi AP that is connected to a TV in order for this to work. With that said, this is just what I have been looking for so customers can listen to television while washing clothes at our Laundromat. We have five televisions with closed captioning on and now, customers can listen. Stop giving one star without a complete understanding of what is needed to make this work.
