Fitbeat is for continuous heart rate monitoring, simple and easy to use. It supports most 5.3K heart rate chest belt (Polar, Fitcare etc) , and helps you get the most out if you workout or fitness activity.
Fitbeat provides a comprehensive time in zones and helps monitoring your exercise at the right level. Set your zones based on your age, max heart rate or your own settings. Fitbeat will get the heart rate and then determines the specific zone. Meanwhile, Fitbeat will measure total time and the time in each heart rate zone. History data can be checked in Max rate, Min rate, Ave rate, exercise time, with which you can easily make your exercise plan.

While Runkeeper does, this app doesn't connect to my Polar belt, so I couldn't test it. Besides of that the app looks ugly and outdated. How hard can it be to follow Android design guidelines????

Works only with 5.3 kHz receiver connected to audio jack! Don't complain about Bluetooth sensors!
