WESH 2 News and Weather

I just don't understand why WESH will not make this a tablet friendly. The only local (Orlando) TV station that does not allow landscape viewing. I open the app when a update comes to see if it works in landscape on my tablet and then close it. I don't even use a shortcut for it.

Why the switch?! There was nothing wrong with the weather app. I've tried many weather apps and to me it was the BEST! Lightning alerts, approaching rain whether heavy or light, etc....i work outdoors and the old app was a blessing and helped keep me safe with lightning alerts that would help me determine if it was getting closer so I could go seek shelter if need be. Don't see that option on new app...very disappointed to see them get rid of such a great app.

I downloaded this app because the first alert weather app is to be discontinued. I needed the weather component. However this app doesnt have 2 great features that original app had. The widget is much bigger is in this new app and requires the user to open it. It takes up a large portion of the users screen. It also no longer displays the temp in the top of the screen next to the time/date. Nor does it show the temp within the widget to see the daily or hourly forecast. Far to many clicks for me. I will be uninstalling. Please add those back. Thanks.

Great app for news and staying informed throughout the day - and night.

Experienced my last fullscreen ad. Uninstalled.

Videos never play, uninstalled and did a clean install and videos still don't play. The video ads play (of coarse the ads the play $$$!) but when the ad is over video never loads. Fix your app.

Dumped it. Inadequate for tracking Hurricane Irma.

Annoying constant push notifications. I know I could disable it but push notifications should only be used for real important news stories not for how many blisters people got in the sun today....

Too many ads for click bait stories. Uninstall and sticking with 9, since 6's app stopped working.

Always current news....keeps me informed. Love it

I like the app and the alerts that let me know what's happening locally. I don't like the videos that automatically start (sometimes I read news while husband sleeps) and the repeating ads. I also don't like the obvious political bias of the news outlet. It's as if they advertise protests before they start, among other things.

Unintuitive.

This app needs a ton of work and get rid of some of these ads it's stupid to have to watch the same ad two times before seeing a video. Ads are not news.... then again news is barley news any more.

I am saddened that I no longer get to watch WESH 2 news due to direct TV ???? I wish I could afford to change my TV service cause I absolutely love their news and weather. I am happy I at least get to keep the app though!

This thing is a joke. Offers nothing unique and full of ugly and obtrusive ads. Uninstalled.

I'm no longer in Florida but love keeping up with what's going on especially around volusia county and wesh is the best news I have found. Just can't wait to get back to volusia county. Keep up the great work wesh.

The app used to be amazing before the update, now when you click on a story from your notifications it goes away. Ads are outrageous also

The commercials/ads disrupt the news flow far too much.
