KOCO 5 News and Weather

I put this app on my phone its the best one out of channels 4, &9 which doesn't work at all on my phone and I've read alot of complaints on the 4 &9 apps I've never had any but this app to me is helped me more than once. Thank you koco

Doesn't have the live as it claims. Most of the time you can't even hear anything.

I hate your app. I'm deleting it because you send alerts for a story and when you click on the notifications you can't ever find the story KOCO just sent the alert out on

I did not enable any notifications yet, after installing I get a loud noise from my phone I pick it up to figure out what made this loud sound and it was a notification for weather no where near me and now as I type this I get another loud notification...uninstalling.

App send breaking news tidbits then when you click on them it takes you to old news stories.

30 second video ads before you are able watch a visits video story or weather alert?? Ridiculous. At least let us skip three if we choose. It would also be nice to specify which county we get weather alerts for. I hate being woken up at 3am to a storm warning for the panhandle...

Very informative ,helpful to have when there's power outages and for breaking news locally

Half the time the live stream doesn't work.

It's ok. Breaking news notifications will go off and 90% of the time you go to the app, there's no breaking news. It's not there. It's pointless to have the breaking news notification when you can't even find out the whole story cause its not there! Fix and I'll give 5 stars

Well, thought I would give this a try again. Works ok but the commercials are a bit annoying and the UI can be somewhat difficult. Overall is just ok. Sticking with News9 weather.

After update on 8-18-15 I think I'm going to uninstall and go with another local news app. Channel 5 is too complicated now, way too much going on and the ads are huge, don't like it at all. Uninstalling after several years.

The ads are ridiculous. I'm used to 30 second ads, but now there are 1.5 minute ads. Really!?

Its a very good useful app.

Hate all the commercials to watch anything

Used to be useful. Now to watch a video you must endure a :30 sec ad. So, either turn down volume and let it pass or simply move on. I get having ads mixed in. But for every single video is crazy

The only good thing about this app is when they're live but when they aren't, the "on demand" only plays a commercial and then sits there, I'm staring at your logo!! Do you not check on your own app to make sure it's working and it's useful???

They send out notifications that only shows part of the breaking news and then the story is not available when you open the app. What is the value of the notification?

Once you click on the notification the story is nowhere to be found. When I open the app...the same story from weeks ago is still popping up!

I tried to give it a chance for a long time. Notifications say one thing and you open the app and the story not even there. Tired of it.

I love this app. They stay on top of everything and report back faster than any other news app.

As others have said, the app sends out notifications (on my phone they're often cut off but that may not be the app's fault) and when you click into the app there is no story, the existing stories aren't updated and there's nothing even in the scrolling breaking news tab at the top.

Do NOT screw with the orientation of my screen. Apps that force rotation are horribly written and the developer needs to be fired! Your app seriously sucks!

Notifications are crap, when you click to watch a new video, it keeps starting over at the beginning I hear the koco jingle probably 5 times before it actually plays the video... need to get your application together.

The stories are good. The live broadcast is great. I feel connected to my local and national news even when I'm at work and away from a TV. What I don't like is that I have to watch a 30 second ad to watch a 50 second video outside of the live broadcast.

I don't mind the option to watch the video. But apparently there's no option to actually read the story, just a useless synopsis.
