easyTek for Android
Works pretty well when it's working, disconnects a lot you have to scan for Bluetooth and turn the settings on in order to get it to work again that's for Android.
This App mutes my ring and notifications which means I don't hear the phone when not wearing my aids. It would be great if a phone volume could be set independently of the main volume.
Bluetooth is shocking only got this today and it doesn't work what a waste of money
I like it but it need more function for such expensive equipment.
Cannot use as a bluetooth receiver to communicate with mobile phone..Sound is too soft.
It has difficulty connecting to hearing aids.
Goes into streaming mode automatically. It is best if u let the user to select whichever mode he needs including Music Player or zStreaming Music.
Buggy, crashes all the time.
I LOVE using my Easytek! At times the app itself needs to be reopened. But the Easytek is incredible and I use it all the time.
When it works it is perfect but when I need it most it is not there and needs to have it's Bluetooth reconnected.
Works well, but my easytek firmware is 1.0 how do I download new update
It is not a 100 percent system. There is a lot of thing that could be better.
One star just because there isn't a zero option!
When it works it's wonderful but is not consistent.
Works well with my phone.
I would be lost without it
Needs left&right balence .
Keeps crashing.
Love that I can control my hearing aides from an app
The way I use it, its been great
Very convenient really like the stand alone mode
Very easy to control my hearing aid programs
Stand alone mode not working.galaxy S5
It's good
Poor Bluetooth integration. Having to re-pair with easytek almost daily. App is constantly confused as to whether to enter music streaming, audio streaming, or regular programs. The most annoying part of app is that it can't be used to control hearing aids without easytek except from within the easytek mode. So if the easytek mode crashes and refuses to pair, the app is useless. On the high end Cellion that will leave you either without a way to change programs, or a way to change volume, depending on your programming.
It insists that I am listening to Streaming Audio when I am trying to hear real people in the same room. The app still needs work. It gets frozen in the Streaming Audio option, and one needs to take out one's hearing aids, remove the batteries, and then reinsert the batteries and place the hearing aids back in in order to get the Streaming Audio to leave.
Will not stay connected. It always defaults to original settings so not only do you always have to reconnect you always have to redo your preferred settings. It does work well enough when connected but otherwise it's a pain in the butt.
All in all the sound quality for streaming music and telephone Bluetooth is subpar. My LG Bluetooth is substantially better. The app has extremely limited use and will not permit changes while streaming or talking on the phone. Will be looking for a much better hearing aid.
This app seems to be prone to crashing. Many times you have to reopen the app because it has crashed. Streaming also has its problems. I noticed unless the phone is within inches of the easytek it will not stream properly. If you do something as simple as putting your phone in your back pocket Bluetooth streaming will disconnect or be so choppy you won't want to use it. After spending more than $7,000 on hearing aids and purchasing all the bells and whistles this is a huge, huge disappointment. Update 1/20/17: This last update has now stopped the spatial configurator from working. When first opening the app, spatial configurator briefly shows up but then disappears. I'm beginning to think that buying a Siemens hearing aid was a big big error. Next time I'm going to insist, on a Starkey aid. Update 3/9/17:After going back and forth via email with tech support , they have given up. They are claiming they cannot get a test phone like mine to test and correct the problem. My phone is a Google Nexus 6P and nothing unusual. My advice would be, don't walk, run and buy another brand other than Siemens.
I have the Siemens pure bx7 the app worked faultlessly. It paired with my easytek. And allows me to connect with other Bluetooth devices. My phone, mps player. Tablet Tec.... great. The spacial configurator Llows me to make the hearing devices directional. An absolute gold plated boon. If you are in a noisy environment like a pub or noisy workspace , you can configure the easytek to reduce the surrounding noises, so you can hear the area directly in front bot you.... or to the side. Ideal for driving. Top marks. The battery life Is good. I manage over 12 hours on an average day and the battery indicator on the app allows me to monitor both the batteries in my hearing devices and in the easytek.
This app is not user friendly. I have a transmitter for a television that it will not pickup. It tells me my hearing devices are not turned on but they beep when requested saying they are on. The system is not user friendly by any stretch of the imagination! Poorly designed. Ken
Unreliable Bluetooth connections. Rarely connects without Easy tek, often disconnects when Easy tek still on and around my neck
This app sucks for people hard of hearing. I've had this app for two years and less than 50% of the time it works properly.
Hearing everything around me AND capable of answering my phone AND listening to music with my Siemens easyTek coupled alongside a pair of Signia Pure 7px - sweet. TYG!
Seems to crash alot and then has to be uninstalled and reinstalled to get it to work on my Samsung 6.
Keeps crashing. Disconnects with one of my hearing aids right in the middle of a phone conversation. Try to open app and it'll tell me it's not ladies with the aids, yet I can switch channels width the easytek itself. Very frustrating!
Drops way to many calls. At the worst time like right in the middle of a call.
System crash ALOT constantly having to reconnect ,Manual setup not helping this situation .
Works great WHEN it works. Drops Bluetooth if you look the wrong way.

Works fine as described. A very useful feature, which seems unique from other manufacturer's apps, is the ability to adjust the treble/base. I use this a lot to fine tune in different environments such as singing in a choir.
