I've been on the lookout for a list management app (with sync and web access) that isn't soley geared towards to-dos for ages, and always skipped past this one because it had "Groceries" in the name. While it's geared heavily towards groceries, it can also be used for general sync list management, and is exactly what I was after. It's basic, but does exactly what it's supposed to - and does it well. Update: Wear support was the one thing lacking - no more! Updated from 4 to 5 stars.

WHY DOES MY KEY NOT WORK AFTER UPDATE? Easy, quick & handy! Try it and see for yourself. The only feature I like to see added is product quantity/unit prices. And a sum of the shoplist prices. So I can see beforehand what my shopping trip will going to cost me. Cheers!

My wife and I used Grocery Gadget for syncing our shopping lists but when I switched to Android I discovered the dev stopped supporting their Android version. I can't say my wife was happy to embrace a new app, but where it lacks slickness in the UI it makes it up with instant and effective syncing between our IOS and Android devices. Solid.

Very nice top of the line app. I love how quick it updates over cross platforms and how I can finally take pictures so the wife knows exactly what I want. Had used the buy me a pie paid version for a long time before switching, what a pos.

Would love to see drag and sort integrated by default and a widget... We need a widget!! Other than those 2 requests, this app puts other list sharing apps to shame. Simple and works flawlessly

With separate store lists, whenever Im find myself near one of my stores, I just pull out my phone and check the list. It saves me from forgetting anything and making multiple trips to the store...awesome app!!

While this is a great app, it really is a Hyundai dressed up as a Mercedes Benz as it is one of the most expensive apps with the least number of shopping features. Having said this, it is a great app in that we can upload pictures which will help us to teach our adult son who has an intellectual disability, basic grocery shopping skills. However, what this app lacks (in this price range) are the following features: 1. The ability to add unit pricing, 2. Calculate the number of units 3. Calculate Categories as a sub total 4. Calculate sub totals into grand totals All these budgeting features will further help our son to perform basic budgeting skills. Moreover, given that grocery expenses are the second largest household expense, these additional features will help families to better manage their household budgets.

With List Sharing and multiple lists, everybody in the group can add items to a common list (like Groceries) or update a to-do list (like Joe's Chores), or keep a reminder list (like Things To Bring OnThe Cruise!).

M70%
by M####:

We don't use the sharing capabilities, really. I'd like to be able to scan an item to add it to the list, but that has seldom been able to find what the item is and I end up adding almost everything manually. Expected more from paid version.

by F####:

We use this for our whole family to add to the list. It's great that items can have long descriptions so a brand or size can be specified. I love the real time updates so we can be shopping in the store together and avoid wasting time getting the same items. I've categorized the items by aisle in my favorite store so there's no searching or backtracking. This is the best use of a smartphone that I can think of.

I love this app. Been using it for over a year. Can't find anything that has this much simplicity with so many features at the same time. The only feature I would love to see would be a place for price next to the item that keeps a running total at the top of the list and a running total of items check off . The way this app works, eventually have an estimate of how much you'd spend and items were checked off an estimate of how much you'd spent.

I installed the app and its key, but the advertising keeps displaying. I uninstalled the app and the key, rebooted, installed again. This os a great application except for this issue.

Great app to use with Amazon Echo! Sometimes it has difficulties putting items on the right shipping list, but it's still awesome that when I think of something I need from the store, I just have to tell my Echo instead of trying to keep track of a paper list. Not perfect, but one of my top picks.

by O####:

I used the version with ads for years, but it's been such a great tool I wanted to support the devs by purchasing the key. Great for sharing, even between Android and iOS users. Love the realtime updating when my husband's already at the store and I just remembered another thing for him to pick up.

M70%
by M####:

No search function. Second phone unable to add product photos. Should have a tick box that enables cross out of items added to trolley as sometimes the items disappear from the list by accidentally touching the line. Items should stay in the list until completed shopping, a done/complete button would assist with this.

My wife and I use this every day... I've successfully come home with the right groceriesand not $100 in junk food several times since we started using it.

Easy to use and update, so I can still add something to the list even after my husband has left for the store. I also use it to make kids Christmas lists throughout the year.

I've tried so many other apps of this type and they all falter and fail in two areas; they do not sync well or immediately or they don't handle organization correctly. I admit this app is a bit odd in the setup and comes off VERY simplistic, however, it syncs VERY WELL and it has a nice organization system. It remembers the category you put a product under and remembers the order of your categories. Hands down BEST grocery app ever. Cannot praise this enough! I do have some minor wishes, but content.

I have always hated paper list. Also, I suffer from short term memory loss. List are needed all the time. This app solved both issues for me. Thanks.

Great app. Perfect for sharing shopping lists with other family members, who can add items mid-shop if required. Switched from Out Of Milk which had constant syncing issues. Have found that Our Groceries syncs instantly and reliably. Also love the Alexa and Android Wear integration, although the former can be a little hit and miss, but not the apps. fault. Was happy to upgrade to the paid version.

Great for sharing list...then it quit syncing. We use it to sync between two phones and the web. Now, none of the three are syncing with each other. Defeats the purpose. Edit: found out it was my work wifi that was blocking the connection. Using data, worked fine. No problem, with wifi on it syncs where I need it.

The bar code app they chose to go with hardly finds anything. If you use the bar code app by itself to test it it does an accurate lookup via the internet but not on it's own. $5 upgrade was fairly useless unless they fix this problem.

A clean neat interface, easy to use, modest permissions and super-fast syncing. I've been looking for a superior shopping list app for ages. Here it is. It leaves the other popular shopping list app (you know, -the milky one) standing on the starting line. Highly recommended. Well worth £2.99!

Like the app but developer needs to add the capability to swipe items off a list instead of taping to remove items. I keep accidentally removing items when I scroll up and down the list.

Very simple but useful app. Contrary to other comments works fine on Lollipop (5.1 on a nexus 5 here at time of review). Ability to group share a single list might be nice but not essential!

Great app for lists of all kinds, especially for groceries though. Just have to convince my other half (who hates writing lists) how easy this makes it all. Love the interface and ease of use. I would like to see an option/menu so you can open the list of all remembered items (the master items list?) so they can be edited easily without having to add each one to a list in order to access them..

Switched to this when Out of Milk broke (stopped syncing) and was able to import our shopping lists from there. This is a really good, lightweight app that has excellent syncing ability. In the free version, the ads are really unobtrusive, so no need to upgrade for that reason, but I would urge everyone who uses and likes this app to show their support by upgrading to fund further development. On that front, all I would really want to see is a visual confirmation of what has been crossed out, with possibly an undo button for accidental fat-fingered mistakes whilst shopping.

Too expensive and what's worse, every user of the same account has to pay for it. At least they should allow all users of the same account to have pro for making the payment once. 3 people using one family account = $15. That's ridiculous.

Great app. Even bought the key. Had to factory reset my phone and lost all my settings. What good is having an account if you have to start over?

T70%
by T####:

Another Dud. Do app programmers SHOP? We do. We're not rich. We're not a giant family. But we go to MORE THAN ONE STORE. A "big box" store and a Supermarket. Guess no one told you: THE AISLES ARE ARRANGED DIFFERENTLY. Different items in different aisles. So a single set of "category" is useless. $5 to "unlock" the "advanced" features"? Unfortunately those "advanced" features do not include the simple, basic feature that would make this useful. Recipe function is frivolous. We'd NEVER both to put recipes in here AND a dedicated recipe app. Omission of this basic, obvious function along with a higher than average app price gets you one star.

This app is a gem that has seen consistent development over the years and remains the best grocery list app you can get (and I've tried more than 10.) The upgrade key is reasonable and worth every penny. The cross-platform support and Alexa integration is amazing, keep up the great work.

I love this app. No longer do I have to ask my family members things they want. But it stopped syncing yesterday. I updated list at home computer , got to store and updates weren't on my phone. Help!

I used to use "Out of Milk" until they updated it to you point of it not even being usable. Please, do us all a favor. Do not try to make this more than it is. It is a functional grocery list. That's all it needs to be. It's a good, functional app.

The husband and I use this for all our lists. It works great for all kinds of honey-do items. The new red logo looks like a bad RedPlum ripoff though.

Works well for sharing multiple lists like g-store, hardware store and packing lists. I rely on it for any kind of personal shopping list such as bookstore, drug store and auto parts store.

The only thing wish I could do is make a "master" list where I could scroll through it and add items to my current shopping list without deleting it from the "master". Maybe it's possible and I just haven't discovered it yet :)
