Our Groceries Shopping List

Switched to this from Out of Milk, after having tons of sync/sharing issues, especially with the August 2015 update. Out Groceries is more basic but the sync/sharing works FLAWLESSLY, almost instant sync between my phone and my wife's. Could use more default Categories and the ability to sync only select lists. And $5 for the "Key" to disable ads is a bit pricey, I'd be happy to pay $2 or so.

moved to this after google home moved from keep to express. Wish I would have found this sooner. This does exactly what I need it to do and does it far better with more flexibility than keep or express. Too bad it isn't incorporated with google home (ie ability to make it default) so that we don't have to say "hey google, ask ourgroceries) - but of course, that's not our groceries fault. Highly recommended.

Great app, we use it all the time. We have multiple lists for different purposes (ex. Movies to watch), and it's great that it syncs between devices! So when my husband is coming home from work, I can add things for him to grab.

Five stars if you could share only certain lists with certain people, for example, groceries with wife, stationary with office colleague, bbq week end with son and daughter. Secondly a forced sync button. Although often fast syncing, it is very annoying to come to your cart only to discover that wife has already taken the same stuff and you have to walk through the alleys to put is back. Otherwise a very useful app.

I have been using this app for quite a few years, I am English but live in Portugal so type my list in Portuguese to practice. I love this app. The best shopping list I have seen. Shared (took me a while dah..) with my other devices. Great app.

This is a very good app for listing what is needed on the next shopping day. Me and my other half both have the app, & we both add things whenever and they sync beautifully without having to ask the app to synch. This is an important point because if synch doesn't work properly you might as well be using pen & paper. One issue is that my Anti-Spyware app identifies this as having MoPub, which identifies the users device and number, and number also the network details.

Love this app, we use it all the time to get our grocery list ready for a shopping and anytime I think of something we need I I just open it up and add it to the list. Only problem is I wish you could edit a recipe when you make a mistake instead of having to start over.

This makes our life so much easier. We tried another app that had more functionality - able to put complete recipes in - but had syncing issues. Our Groceries is always reliable so we've come back to it and are sticking with it.

Great app. We use it to share the list within the family using apple and Android phones. It updates quickly on all devices when an item is added. The only thing I wish it was better at is recipes. It would be nice to be able to enter a plain text recipe... But it's for lists and it does a great job at the.

I share this app with my hubby. It's nice to have a shared grocery list. Many of my friends have installed it as well. The sharing part at setup is a pain with the email verification however good app. Worst the money.

I like that I can make more than one list and the things leave the main part of the list when I've found them. Love this app very much have introduced many friends to it as well.

Great app especially for sharing lists with someone on a different smartphone platform than you. I would give it 5 stars if support for premium features was available on BB10. Also, it would be handy to be able to put a price on list items and give a list total cost.

Great List app, with categories so you can put things into aisles. Would have 5 stars if I could enter a quantity (you can add an item multiple times for say 3 things, but you can't add 350g of something)

Loved this app. Then I had to get a new phone. Lost all my recipes and order in Isles of my shopping at local store. Don't know if I want to start over. It took months to get this app where it was. Now nothing.

Wish it had a way to indicate I can get oranges at multiple stores and once purchased, items are removed from all lists. Great otherwise. Used for years.

Why can't I reorganize my categories anymore? I used to be able to change the order that my categories appear in... this is helpful for when our main grocery store moves things around and our list is no longer "in order" for where we encounter our items in our circuit around the store. This isn't deal-breaking, but it is an irritant that something as elementary and useful as this appears to have either been eliminated or accidentally left out of the GUI during recent changes. :(

My wife, son, daughter, and I all sync up from our own devices. Works great for a team run to the grocery store. I've been using ourgroceries for a couple of years now. It's one of the easiest apps to use. The Google home integration is awesome!!

Great app with live updates to list from other user who is on iPhone while I am on Android! Works real well & was going to pay for add free, but $6.49 is crazy for just removing adds. Change it to $1.99 or $2.50 and I am sure many would pay you for add free version!

We love this app it's on all of our phones. We depend on it because whoever's at the store next knows what everyone wants. I would go so far as to say this is one of our most valuable apps it's definitely one of the most often used.

We are using this app not only for shared shopping lists of different shops (groceries, DIY shops, pharmacy etc.) but also for lists of films, books, that someone recommends us...it is so simple to open the phone and just add something on a list that we use it really daily. I would appreciate possibility to share only specific lists but still, the app is great..thanks!

I've always loved this app, and when the developers stopped supporting it on my "old school" blackberry, I didn't realize how much I depended on it to simplify my shopping needs. Now I have it back on my Priv, it's customized to fit my needs and I love it!

We use this for fridge & freezer inventories and our grocery & errand lists. I love that I can access it from multiple devices. It's awesome!

Super convenient and I never forget anything from the store! Wherever I'm at I can easily and quickly add items to my list using my phone app! Love it!

Excellent app. Switched from out of milk when it started having issues. This app syncs excellently. My wife and I each have a copy and they are both in sync. Perfect.

Fabulous ability to make and prioritize list! I love the ability to attach a photo for that hardware store run so I get just the right thing. I love that my hubby and I have a joint grocery list for whoever is closest. We keep a house repair list and a doctor appointment lis! Great program.

It's like google ..not the prettiest thing ever but It Works! ..well! And you don't want pretty cluttering/distracting your efficiency anyway I figure.

Wish I could give it ten stars. Android seems to be their main platform which is great, but it's also cross platform with those other guys for use in mixed households, which I have. Look at their website and really check out everything it can do. They stay on top of new innovations, for example it supports Google Home and that other major voice service.

I am new to this app. Am I missing that the sound feature that let's the person your syncing your list with that you added an item?? Also, how can you rearrange CATEGORIES. Produce is first in my grocery store, but it won't let me put it first. Only items within the categories. Still the sound feature needs to be added you know when some updates something on the list

Switched from out of milk, just LOVE this app. Sharing works perfectly. I can be headed for the store and my wife will add items to the list that are there waiting for me when I turn the app on. Plus, we use it for EVERYTHING! -To do lists -honey do lists -long term goals -temporary lists of to buy or to-do -list of items donated to good will for next year's taxes -The phone number for that car we saw for sale that we want to remember and tell our brother about later because he's looking for a car It's our GoTo substitute for quick notes. Thanks.

If you have used this app before they fixed a lot with updates making sharing lists a lot easier. Perfect to keep a list that shows what has/hasn't been got with a spouse/roommates/family/spouse/caregiver etc. You can also email a list if you don't want to share it continuously. Customizable categories enables you to sort things however you like. Personally I have it set grouped to areas of the Big Box Store I shop at so I can avoid walking back and forth over the large store and just hit each area once. Plenty of options to toggle to get the most out of this app. Also the ads aren't intrusive so even if you don't buy it's still a great app. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because sharing requires you to go into email which can be cumbersome, but it's worlds better than it was. And some features are tough to figure out at first. Honestly, I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.

I use this app so frequently that I have a screen gesture assigned to open it. It's especially useful when your household has multiple people doing the shopping. You can create multiple lists, and use it for other purposes, like holiday gift wish lists. It's just a fantastic app.

My whole family (6 of us, all drivers) is synced just by putting in my email and I click the approve link. Anyone in a store checks the list and everyone is happy. Love it. No more cries of "I wish I knew you were at...I need..."

One of the best apps I've downloaded! Incredibly easy to use and very intuitive. Works great across platforms. The ability of multiple users to add and manipulate the list was exactly what I was looking for and setting up additional devices to alter the list is very simple.

5 stars if cheaper. Works great but too expensive to remove ads

Omgosh this app is totally awesome! I love that I can share the list with my husband and we can go to separate ends of the store to shop and knock it out in half the time! Thank you for this app!!!

Great app but I have one suggestion: in a list that is grouped into categories, give the option to change the order of groups. For example, I would like Produce to be the first group shown when I go shopping. I think with that change it would be perfect!

Great grocery list sharing app, love that we share between our phones and browsers on the computer. Good options for using in the store to check off list items and to scan bar codes. Like the add a photo option too.

I wish u didn't have to pay for the upgrade part. Makes it hard when u r living on a tight budget

A really good feature it needs is pricing. How about adding an option for prices to items and a total to the top of the list? How about an app for the Galaxy Gear watches? You have Android Wear support so why not Gear support too?

It's easy to use and perfect if you're looking for a strait forward shopping list. List sharing is also well implemented.
