How clean is it? Do you know how clean are the restaurants you are about to eat in? The HDScores App can tell you from your smartphone, for over 490,000+ establishments across 886 jurisdictions. HDScores has complied over 3 million inspection reports and 9 million violations from establishments all around the United States. All of our data comes directly from health department inspectors and/or their registered sanitarians/health officials. HDScores does not use user-generated reviews.

HDScores is the first real-time comprehensive and recommendation search engine for restaurant inspection data. Our app will help you search and discover restaurants, churches, schools, hospitals, hotels, convenience stores and supermarkets. Then check their health inspection score, all in an easy to read, search and understand format.



According to the CDC, 56% of all sporadic food borne illnesses occurs in restaurants and schools. With 1 in 6, Americans (48 Million People) annually get a food borne illness. This affects the US Economy annually by $77,700,000,000 in waste, medical expenses and lost wages. Our App helps protect you, your family, and friends from food borne illness by avoiding establishments with unsafe inspections histories. - Search for establishments using our proprietary scoring system allow you quickly show you the rating of the establishments in a range from 0% to 100%. Establishments can be shown on a map or as a list.

- Share Establishments Inspection Reports via Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and/or Email.

- Favorite any establishment for easy access and the ability to track their inspection score changes in near real-time.

A free user account is required to view inspection data.



Internet Access

Our App currently requires an internet connection (cellular or wifi) to acquire all inspection data from our API. There is no local storage of inspection data.



GPS Usage

Continued use of any GPS service running in the background can significantly decrease battery life.
