Baianão 2017

O Campeonato Baiano 2017 será a103ª edição da competição realizada no estado da Bahia.
Com 11 clubes na briga pela taça, a novidade é a primeira fase disputada em pontos corridos, em turno único. Assim, cada time jogará dez vezes. Os quatro melhores vão para as semifinais, em ida e volta, e os dois piores são rebaixados.
O campeonato começará no dia 29 de janeiro, e o Ba-Vi está marcado para a 10ª rodada, dia 26 de março, um domingo, na Fonte Nova. As finais serão realizadas nos dias 30 de abril e 7 de maio.

The Baiano Championship 2017 will be a103ª edition of the competition held in the state of Bahia.
With 11 clubs in the fight for the cup, the novelty is the first phase held in consecutive points in a single round. Thus, each team play ten times. The top four go to the semifinals in return, and the two worst are demoted.
The championship will begin on 29 January, and the Ba-Vi is set for the 10th round, March 26, a Sunday, the New Source. The finals will be held on April 30 and May 7.
