Player Time Tracker for Android
Can only get one player to pop up. No menu. Nothing works.I want my money back.
Its a little simple and buggy in places, but this certainly made my life easier and I'm not aware of an alternative that is nice and simple
Idea & concept are great, unfortunately something failed in delivery. Clicking players to sub doesn't work as expected, it regularly changes players that were not clicked. Hoping for a refund.
Not usable during a fast paced game. The app description describes how you can long press a players name to sub him/her out but at least on my HTC One that doesn't work. To change the lineup I need to..press the stop timer button, then press menu, then select manage roster, then scroll down the long list of players and check players that are going into the game and uncheck players that are coming out, then select Return. I can't see all of the player names that are checked at once on the manage roster screen so often after returning I realized I made a mistake and had to repeat the entire process again. Trying to do this during a fast paced competitive basketball game while also trying to pay attention to the game was too difficult. I emailed the maker of this app to mention this and they ignored me. I will uninstall this app and am trying to get my $.99 back. This would be fine for a free app but definitely not worth a dollar.
Buggy. Only displayed one player, not whole team. On test names wouldn't load, time report empty. Glad I tested it to to see it failed before game time.
I simply need to be able to start/stop the timer by touching players names when the game starts. But it doesn't work properly! I want a refund!
Won't populate my team on the timer screen. Only shows one player when i've selected 5. Running on S4. Update: got it to work by populating the player number fields. One suggestion...it would be great if it sorted the players with the most playing time at the top.
Works great, just what I was looking for to simplify juggling playing times for a long bench of youth players - great work!
Used to sub 6 players every 10 min's. Worked well.
Just purchased this app so I haven't tried using it during a game yet , but I have a few thoughts. 1) The number assigned to a player determines the sort order. There's no option to sort the players differently than this number. Not all leagues have numbers. When creating a roster, it would be nice to be able to sort alphabetically. During a game, it would be nice to be able to sort players by playing time, rather than their number. 2) There's no way to set a value for the expected number of players in the game at a time. It would be nice if there was. That way, if you put in too many players or took out too many, there could be some indication that something was not right. For example, if you added too many, it could highlight the player with the most playing time as a suggestion for who should go out. Alternatively, if you removed too many, it could highlight the player with the lowest playing time as a suggestion for who should go in. My rating is premature given my lack of evaluation, but I have to select something in order to submit the review. Overall, this looks like it will help me manage the game better and I'm hopeful that the concerns I raised will be addressed.
Took me a game or two to get used to starting and stopping and actually "processing" the subs but that's on me... would be cool if included positions too. Used for U10 soccer, galaxy s4.
You have to give the kids numbers for it to work. Would be better if they were prefilled, 01, 02, 03 etc.
Had a problem finding the menu button. But I emailed them and they responded quickly with help!!! Thank you
Great app. You reset the time for each half/quarter/etc. without losing player's playing time for the game. Can be used for any sport that substitutes players. Can input multiple teams and save them. There are two aspects to this app: Function and Design. The only thing that would make this app more functional in it's purpose is an alarm at certain intervals to signal substitute times, and a timer to signal the end of the game/half/quarter (though the timer would need to keep ticking beyond the alarm for instances when play extends - such as soccer). As far as design - this isn't the most beautiful app aesthetically, but hopefully in the future we see some customizing options with the interface. It's pretty blocky and archaic as is. But the fact of the matter is that it gets the job done. Very handy - I will likely be using this every game as a soccer coach that HATES trying to keep track of rotating youth players in 'fairly'. Only four stars because of the reasons listed above. (would give 4.5 stars if I could).
I've only tried applying the program in a practice setting and can't wait to use it real-time in a game. So far it looks fantastic!
Are you a soccer coach? Then own this app!

Simple enough. Some thought to screen real estate would be cool. Maximise player numbers on screen. I know that is a pain in Android. Even moving the timer button to the side of the timer would help.
