About Y-Knot LED Flashlight
This is a small utility used to switch on the flash light (LED flash) found on many Android devices (LED Torch).
Tested and working on the following devices:
- Sony Ericsson X10 (2.3.3 update - might work on previous fw as well)
- HTC Wildfire
- HTC Desire HD
- Samsung Galaxy S2
- Dell Streak
- Motorola Defy (MB525)
- Motorola Razor
- Samsung Note
Why another flashlight utility?
I found a few that worked but generally they tended to do things like start up on their own in the background, kill my battery etc.
This application only runs in memory while the flashlight is on. That's it!
Please not that on some devices (depending on manufacturer) the flash light will stay on when the device is locked. On others it will be switched off - this is not something we have control over!
How to use?
Install, then create an application shortcut on your device desktop (if you want to - long tap on the launcher screen, select add application shortcut, select led torch app ) - tap once to enable flashlight, tap again to switch off (there is NO user interface) ...

As subject line. Frills and fancy screens and flashy light effects are well and good, but when they dominate to the detriment of using it as a torch, then no thanks. So far I have tried ~20 and so far, of the ones that don't crash, far too many have crashef, three have passed muster as good torches.

Seriously the best. No interface: the icon is the power switch. Best part is that it runs in the background, which makes this app a necessity for panoramic photo taking at night.

I thought that I would like the quick on/off switch of this flashlight....I cut it on, then a few seconds later it turns itself off....annoying! I had to uninstall. Sorry dev
