If you get error code '505' while installing/updating the app , please do the following steps:
1. Go to Settings >> Apps
2. See if Whiteboard (free or paid) is already installed .
3. Click on Whiteboard . Click on the three dots on the very top right corner and select " Uninstall for all users".
4. Do step 2 and 3 for both the Whiteboard free and paid version if you have.
5.Install Whiteboard now . It will get installed just fine.

I found that it works with your finger or a good stylus. Great app for taking quick notes. Worth upgrading to the Pro version to remove the ads.
