Harriken for Android is the new and novel attempt at making the lives of food enthusiasts in Dhaka, better than ever before. Once you discover our app, there’s no going up to the dark-food ages. Finding the restaurants one loves, in Dhaka, has been made easier than a piece of cake, owing to Harriken. Harrikenators can search for their favorite or preferred restaurant, post reviews, boast about places they have gone to, and even discover like-minded food lovers given the social features integrated into the app. Download. Features:
- Search for restaurants: Easily locate your favorite restaurant or stumble upon a newfound one by searching for places to eat on the basis of the name of the restaurant itself, or the kind of specialty your tummy is craving (e.g. burgers, pizzas), or type of restaurant you're looking to visit (e.g. fine dining, fast food).
- Selection of location: You no longer need to to wander aimlessly for the food experience you desire, when Harriken is here to illuminate your path. Search on the basis of the location of your favorite restaurant, or discover other options near you. Sort your choices by distance and pinpoint the food you’re craving.
- Functionalities on the page of a certain restaurant: Buttons such as 'Like', 'Review', 'Check-in' and 'Recommend' have been integrated in the app, applicable to each restaurant, to not just help Harrikenators improve their dining experience substantially, but to enable some serious word-of-mouth among other Harrikenators.
- Restaurant details: Did the atmosphere work for you? Did you get Chinese when you wanted Italian?? Is the restaurant near you or far? Decide on the restaurant you're willing to spend your money on, based on restaurant-specific information provided on the app.
- Personal accounts: Registration for your very own Harriken account is possible by logging through Facebook, or through Harriken itself.
- Social features: Harrikenators can search for friends on the app, follow them, and also assemble their own army of food enthusiasts through the app. Moreover, the social feed lets Harrikenators indulge in the Dhaka food scene.

The app is still buggy. Several restuarant pages failed to open. Menu is basically an actual pic of the physical menu. Many restaurants are missing as well as their locations. Too much dependent on crowd sourced data. Should update frequently. But it does do the basic things. The design language is nice and eye catching. Its time we have our own food and restaurant app!

I loved its precision in finding restaurants using GPS. And a great number of restaurants are in the list, so having the information is quite easy. I'd recommend the developers to share the remaining menus ASAP. Keep up the good work.

Must own app by bd food lovers. Looking forward for more updates and more categorical searches. A few suggestions : search by food i.e i want to eat burger today so i will just simple check all the places where there are burgers available. Also, sorting by price, rating would also be an awesome addition!

Useful. But have you thought of implementing Facebook for the social feature? Like, it'd automatically give you a list of all your friends that use the app (like Instagram, etc does). Also is it possible to show the reviews from the restaurants that have a Facebook page? People in Bangladesh are too Facebook centric and I don't think many people are too keen on reviewing restaurants on the app. Keep up the good work though!
