I also bought from Harper Collins website, hoping for a download I could put on CD. They made me download the app after I requested a refund and was refused. Then nothing. No book in the cloud. Customer service saying they are assessing my refund request, 4 days ago. This is the most incompetent bookseller I've encountered. Avoid at all costs or you'll lose money. And they wonder why people pirate!
Don't know what it does or doesn't do. I've never been able to login to it dispute long conversations with their support team. Hit reset password and they send email saying your password is: Yep, doesn't even tell you. Site uses email address but app asks for username. Odd the website never uses username. The short story is I bought an audio book. Long story is it is also my last one Id ever purchase. Support matters; however not to them. To quote Douglas Adams, " So long and thanks for all the fish." Never looking back at them for any reason, ever.
It's basically a scam. Couldn't log in, couldn't get access to a purchased audio book. Will update if the situation is resolved, until then this app is just theft. I've been in contact with customer support and it sounds like it is working as intended. So, yeah, this is just a scam to steal money.
Possibly the worst audio player I've ever seen. Despite the fact that it doesn't execute the most basic functionality (play and pause) reliably, the most frustrating thing is that it doesn't remember where you were when you quit the app so that when you open you're back to the start of the book, every time! C'mon HarperCollins, this is unacceptable.
App is garbage. Very basic. I purchased an audiobook and it's not showing up. Tech support is no help. Crooks.
This is a fraud and scam. Harper Collins sells audio books that must use this app but app doesn't work. Can't login or authenticate. They then refuse refund. Avoid at all costs is just a frustrating scam
Same experience as others. It wasn't clear that the download could only be accessed with their, very poor, app. But I have also not received the download at all despite payment being taken some time ago. No response from costumer service. If you have any other option than to use this to get your book, use it instead.
I bought an audio book and can't access it. The website is very unhelpful. Audible is much better.
Crashes and then have to figure out where I am in the book. New purchased don't always show.
The least useful and least customizable audiobook app I have ever used. If you ever want to buy a Harper Collins audiobook, get it from somewhere else.

Horrible! Don't waste your money! Couldn't login and harper Collins wouldn't refund or assist with login. Highly recommend not using this service at all!!
After stopping the app, the book starts over. So I have to remember where I left off, and when I start the app again fast forward. Remembering where I last stopped seems to be the most basic feature of an audio app. Unreal and lazy. I'll never buy an audio book from Harper Collins again
Harper Collins instantly took my money for an audio book. Still waiting on it to show up in my library. Go to Audible, that service works.
Get ready for a very unsatisfactory experience. HarperCollins doesn't tell you that you will be forced to use their app to listen to their audiobooks until after you've purchased them. The app has several problems: 1) It doesn't hold your place in a chapter (in fact it always restarts at the beginning of the book). 2) It doesn't tell you when it hasn't downloaded the full book onto your device - it took me a while to figure out why some of my chapters were not playing. 3) It has practically no settings to speak of (download settings, playback settings, notification settings). Can I assign *negative* stars? This is barely an app and HarperCollins will continue to damage their brand until they put more effort into this one.
Spent $18 on a book. Downloaded this app, downloaded my book, that I paid for, and it plays the introduction. All the actual chapters, it says unable to play. Emailed customer support. No answer. So now I'm out $18. And still can't listen to my book!
Got my book, But app is terrible. Have to start my book over ever time i want to listen and skip chapters to get back to where i want to be.
Doesn't work. Don't bother download or purchasing any books.
There is nothing to download in my account.

Worst experience with an online company ever. Why is this company still in business? Ordered and paid for a book and never received. Calls and emails to customer service yield nothing. Standard lines only. Wind up buying the same book from a different company. Avoid Harper Collins at all costs!
