Learn to Sing - Sing Sharp

This app is so good at teaching you to sing! Every little note pops up on that screen and you feel ready to concur that music! This is a really good voice teacher and coach. If you want a private voice teacher, get this app. My only thing is, I want a free style version so you could sing whatever you want. My opinion: Get. This. App.

If all the paid stuff were free, it would get 4 stars. My biggest complaints are 1. There is so much lag between singing and getting the note registered by the app. 2. In the training program, for the "listen and sing" type exercise, the "next" button is hidden. I have to randomly tap on the bottom right corner just to find it. 3. The progress report could benefit from more granularity. Whether I get 50% or 100% correct in a course, it is still resembled as a star.

I don't like how the frequency only has three settings. I sing between the highest and normal range and can't even get to the slow frequencies by voice. And I think putting more then just 4 or 5 really old and traditional songs would be a good idea. These songs are to old and not fun at all to practice learning to sing

This is the best app to singing better.. But There is just one problem.. This app don't have a lot of song.. When I tap on "More song" this app will ask for send them email for the song I want but the songs I want not arrive yet until now.. Please always update your Song library..

I belong to choir and there we sing. I could sing but not the best. This app greatly improved my vocal range. I was shocked because I didn't know I was singing C4's. With this, I can now control my key and that I sing comfortably and properly. This worth my time and does improved my performance. Thank you, keep us all update.

I need more songs in order to test and test and taste your app. Can't taste with just a few songs. Put your database of songs so we could really put it to the test. Unless of course you plan on charging for it once you get people to like the app. If it's going to be free, why limit the songs?

I dont know this app will give a good result or not but I will try it...

Pretty fun little app. Seems like the registry on notes glitches up because it often scores me at a 100% when I am not a proficient singer. Sometimes it scores me poorly as I deserve which is what I'm looking for. Gets a bit frustrating when it keeps auto recording that I'm hitting the notes perfect

I, as I think many did, used my Bluetooth headset first. Because it's the one (of 3) I use all day. I have 2 plug in earbuds with mic and will try.... but technology says "Keep up, or move over." If you are selling to a school as academic music software... that would be different. Also not excited to buy with comments from paid customers about lack of songs.

Fix... the... lag... Minus the lag problem, I would probably rate 4-5 stars. But I just cannot enjoy the app when it is always a note out of sync. This completely destroys the experience. Other than that it seems to be a very, very good app!

So I pay the yearly subscription (only $8 bucks, but still) and you get 5 songs instead of 1. And the songs are weak. I sing Christmas carols at Christmas!!! I'm trying to Sara McClanahan my vocal cords so I can find out what it's like to be in the arms of an angel!! Guess I won't be flying away for awhile... bummer.

I'm enjoying using this app and am learning heaps when it comes to recognizing notes and singing in the right note. One thing I would suggest is having instructions for the vocal warm ups and why it is good to do this warm up and how it affects your voice. As a complete novice I have no idea what these exercises are doing for my voice or how often I should be doing them.

I try to get my c3 beginner vocal little bet confused if i bet the voice right! Hahaha will! this apps. Help me to control the vocal and the tone For being the air and the i control in my vocal cord... i pray that this apps. Encourage me to sing a song again..

I think it's a great app. But it really doesn't have that great of a song selection. Also sometimes when I'm trying to sing low notes little randomly say that I'm singing like for example of high a or something when I'm really singing a low d switch back and forth and then give me a low score because of that. If this was to be thought I would give it 5 Stars hands down

Could you change it to sing lookup, just like a karaoke search, it's annoying having to email you for a song I'd like to sing. Where, if I would search it, it's there for me already, I don't like the idea of sending an email request for a song, by that time I'm over that song I requested.

I mostly like using it for the vocal range part because I really like singing but it's hard to keep track of the notes I'm hitting and if the notes I'm hitting are the notes I want to hit. I haven't tried the warm up yet but I feel it'll be helpful when training the voice as most warm up I think the sing along part is a bit wonky. It'd be nice to have more songs available usable in its database. It doesn't work with Spotify so if you want to sing but the song isn't in the database, good luck boi

I recommend this app to everyone. This is a perfect app for beginners even professional to visualize their vocal performance to see how they progression of the chords on real time performance. But personally, I think this app could even 10 starts if possible only if : they were an option where you can go back to listen back your audio for example in the practice section and have a button where you can stop and play at any moment your records back and for without having to reset or start over and maybe edit the part where you have done a mistake to see how it should sound. I might be crazy by saying all of this but that's my opinion. Beside that I think everything is great.

I think this is a great app! It's a good learning tool. However, I have a complaint. As a new singer I don't know all the notes on the scale, so I instinctively use the sound from the piano as a guide for my voice. Sometimes I will play a warm up for the first time & the piano never comes. I think you should add a new setting to fix it. When this new setting is turned on it will make sure that the piano plays each time you sing with the app. I also think it should be changeable in the pause menu.

I really like where this app is heading but it needs more settings.There's a lag between the pitch detector and leed note and no adjustment for it. I would also see a much larger database of sing-songs, warm ups, ect... I've had for a few months now and still haven't seen much update... N since I'm paying for it I would really like to have the sense it's not going to waste.

Voice, music and graphics are not in sync. As it is, you have to sing ahead of the music to get a higher score. Song choices are seriously limited and poor options. Otherwise, this app has fantastic potential to be a truly great tool for voice training. If these bugs were fixed, I would buy the full version for myself and several of my grandchildren!

I have no singing skills, and i believe i found what i needed. I sometimes believe i hitted a note of a song, and then they tell me i sing better when im quiet. But this app actually shows on a nice-looking-note-scale the note you have to hit and where you at. The warm ups are really helpful. As a person, we needs to have in mind the proper way to breathe, volume, and our own limits (refering to the throat getting soared). This app takes care of reaching a note and distinguishing a note.

There is a lot I like about this app, it is good for improving your pitch and does some good aural training. But, it has few songs to work with and though it will play songs from your phone I can find no description of how to make a song file that will work with the lyric display and pitch tester - so no community adding new material can emerge. Also, when it asks you to sing pitches in the training program you can not repkay them or practice before singing them so I can never get then right.

I'm brand new to singing so I'm starting from scratch and I like this it's fun and it's easy it would help though if there were more instructions at the beginning. For absolute novices just opening the app it's not clear what to do at first a little bit of written help in speech bubbles would be helpful

This is the first singing trainer I found that could hear me, so that's positive. I'm not sure I'm using the vocal range tester right, and the rest of the program ignores the information anyway. Warm-ups are fun, could use suggestions on how to improve.

The concept of this app is great I just purchased the training program. The only problem I'm finding with that is that I cannot seem to get through a whole lesson without it glitching or taking forever to tell me if I got the answer right. Fix this and I will give it A 5 star rating

I would love to pay for your training program but I have no idea if it fits me. At least give us the first lesson free so we know what to expect. Otherwise I don't even know how much time to set aside for each lesson. It looks like I great app but we can't dive head first into it.

I am such a terrible singer that I am embarrassed to even sing happy birthday. I have only been using it for a few days, but I definitely feel improvement. I wish that they had more songs maybe even an option to add my own, and there are some other basic exercises that I would find helpful, but overall a great app.

Scam. I paid for the full access, and like another reviewer mentioned, they dont even let you do the first exercise. Also, it would be nice to have more than 3 songs.

At first I was a pretty bad at singing but just in 2 weeks I had such amazing improvement! One day I entered a singing competition and I won it. It was a pros competition. My singing was so good that I was even in the news. Even better I was given a contract and I got to meet johnny orlando and even jacob satori ous! I might be famous! If I haven't had found this glorious app I would've never been a good singer

I am so in love with this app. For the longest time I thought I was tone Deaf. But it turns out I can hear the notes. I just needed to see what I was singing. And this app does exactly that. It starts with the basic single notes to advanced stuff I can't even comprehend yet. . I am so happy I found this app. Now hopefully I can do karaoke in public without feeling ridiculous. .

It's not a bad app but for my phone you have to have a loud voice in order for it to work! Also it would be good if we can have a taster for the training programme so we will know if we want to pay for it or not. Other than that it's a good app which helps you with the pitch and tone of your voice and I suggest you get it + you can sing along to your own songs from your phone too, which is a pretty cool.

This app gives you real vocal training and really helps you to sing better. The only flaws are that the app is a little buggy, the mic doesn't pick up pitch perfectly and the vocal range measurement is a little broken. Hopefully with further iteration this app will fix those problems. Still it's the most feature complete app I've seen on the store.

There are no instructions, the vocal range part of it does nothing at all and it crashed my tablet twice before I'd even sung a single note. It also only works in portrait not landscape which is useless for someone with a tablet in a case.

Love the warm ups to find the pitch in real time .. love the replay to hear how I sound. I actually learned from having the headphones on and feeling the right pitch in my ear. The bad thing is how much I hate the only 5 songs available to sing along.. I want new music. Old classics. Everything.

I've never had much of a chance to experience the app properly but it bugs me that they want me to rate something that I've never had the pleasure of experiencing yet! Give me some time to test this and I'll get back to ya. But for now I'd give it a 3 star!!!...;-)

I am a novice in vocals and this app seems really nice for people like me. Just one thing, I have to put mic of ear chords very close to my mouth, If sensitivity can be increased a little bit that would be great. One issue here after playing for quite long it gets out of synch, highlighting of notes happens before the sound gets played.

I downloaded this app to further train my voice and learn to sing better and so far it has been great! My only concern is with the song selection, all I see is like 5 songs and I think 3 of those are Christmas songs so where are the songs I see on your site? We need more music to practice on...

Basic warm-up exercises way low for my fairly typical alto voice--I expected the vocal range test to move the exercises to an appropriate octave. And there is NO access to the actual training program. I won't pay before trying it out, so guess I'll be uninstalling this. It's nice for detecting vocal range, I guess, but there are lots of easier to use free tuning apps that take up less space on your device for that.

Finally an app is capable of helping me train in an appropriate way where results are measurable and observable in real time. I have gotten a lot out of what is available at no additional cost through the app. I intend to purchase additional materials after I have exhausted the resources available now. Thank you 4 clearly recognizing those exercises which are universally effective.
