Harman Kardon Remote for Android
Not worth installing. Having Aura studio but apps only allowed to control phone volume which I can easily do that already. Not sure what easy setup is, which can't even properly connect using the phone. Dear HK, you've invested a good speakers why the hell invested such a crap of app. Normal phone BT with built in music player and built-in BT volumr does brilliant job. Hardware volume I'll have to walk to the speaker to physical press on it which the app doesn't even offer.
Just got an HK AVR audio system. While the audio from the equipment is OK, its features leave a lot to be desired. This app is extremely bad designed and has tons of bugs. Harman Kardon I thought you could do better, much better. I'm seriously considering returning the AVR.
Trash, Trash, TRASH!!!! Bought a new Aura studio 2 and an Onyx 4 and this app can't sync either one of them. Great Speakers but this app is bush league!!! Come on Hardon! You're better than this! This app needs a COMPLETE overhaul! I won't buy any more of these speakers until this gets fixed. What's the point if you can't sync them all up to play at once. And you brag about linking up 100 Onyx 4 speakers and two Aura studio 2's to play at once... Give me a break! LIE'S!!!!!!
Useless app downloaded hopeing I could adjust the volume at tthe speaker remotely because I have it hooked up to Xbox for sound. Only allows for adjusting volume of music from phone.
Incredibly useless. Just bought Go+Play and there is basically no functionality at all. Can't turn it on, can't setup sound, can't check battery life... Great disappointment, this company is 3 years in the past.
The remote functions well but the fact that other than the playing music from your gallery, you can only use spotify to cast music when the AVR is on network mode is preposterous seeing as any 10$ bluetooth speaker would practically play anything you stream on it. There should be added functionality for different apps such as google play music or pandora at least. The network functionality is practically useless if you can't stream on it. I can't even use iTunes from my MacBook. I deleted the app directly after downloading it because it was useless unless you lose your physical remote.
Needs a lot of work... You would think if you put out an app, you would have it work properly. Not recognizing my SB26 sound bar like it should on a consistent basis.
It doesn't do anything! While I like the speaker itself (hk aura studio), if I had known beforehand how useless this app is, I wouldn't have bought the speaker. Why the hell does this control my phone volume? I can do that already. Why doesn't it at least control the speaker volume? Not that HK cares...they already got our money.
I have the HK soundsticks. So I connect thought Bluetooth (that works) but then the app doesn't pick it up? Also, I'm not sure if this feature is in or not, but being able to change things while they are connected via a pc would be great...
Wont work. Just will not connect. Speaker is great app is useless. It says connect via bt and when i do my phone is connected, not the app. Thats it.
This is the most ridiculous app. Completely worthless. I am seriously considering returning the receiver because the app is just that bad. Smh...
Not so happy with my expensive speaker and this app. The app barely functions and is extremely slow. Never updated. The sound of the speaker cuts sometimes, it's slow to start and does not properly connect to my wifi. Firmware never updated. Terrible and expensive ecosystem this way. Wish I had bought a set of Soundsticks with a Chromecast.
doesn't connect via home wifi so can't adjust the bass level. App looks like it was produced on an access database in the 90s.
Not working with my new Panasonic tv, and not working the app remote. Very bad software.
Had this app for less than a minute because it does nothing and if you play from spotify it just pauses your music any time you touch a button
doesn't even connect to onyx 3. don't waste your time installing it
the app had potential, it is missing one key feature and that is DLNA support for the content on the portable device that is controlling the unit. yes it has dlna but only for other devices on tge network as in your computer.
Can't even add tracks from my local device. App is just terrible and needs some serious work!
The app is terrible. Can't control anything with it. I have the onyx 3, will not connect to it with the app. Hope there's an update.
Worked 5 years ago. I can't consistently connect to my avr1700 nor my music library.
Seriously guys? This app is absolute garbage! It wont even connect to my speaker so it is essentially worthless. If you guys need a real developer give me a call, hell id fix this crap for free.
The app connects via Bluetooth but can't select bluetooth as an audio input on the AVR. I would expect a remote app to have this capability as a minimum. HK should fix this seeing that we are all stuck with our AVR machines. The sound from the hardware is brilliant, pity about the app.
For Onix Studio 1, cannot set up the speaker via BT. Is expected to work with Wifi, but Onix Studio 1 does not support wifi. So ... not an app that worth installing.
You can't control the volume from your phone like the app shows... It also don't have the step up for the different rooms, it connects to my aura but that is it and not from the app by my phone Bluetooth... I have the Samsung galaxy 5 sport... This sucks
App gives you instructions to hit non-existent buttons. Have Onyx 2 and i love the speaker, but unfortunately it is supported by this utterly useless app. HK, put just a little bit of effort into the tech, please.
The speakers are great... Why not to invest in a workable quality app? Is it worth the negative feedback and disappointed customers? Is it worth the negative on your brand? This is a very easy task that will add great value to the HK brand and make your customers happy. Launch a new app that will control the speaker (mainly the volume) and do the right thing.
I have an onyx 2 with a 3 on the truck for today and no app to simply turn them up or down. Is this Harmon Kardon or Realistic ?
App should the experience. Also please have a mechanism to reduce the speaker volume irrespective of Bluetooth/line in mode. Very irritating to get up and reduce volume while watching movie on TV
Absolute bs thanks for wasting my data lol
Could use better instructions, for the SB26 you need to first manual pair your phone with Bluetooth, afterwards when you open the app a button will appear for the SB26. Works better than the included remote! Please add an option to disable OSD and show the information in the app.
As many others have attested, it is asking me to pair to a device, when it is already playing from my Aura. Love the speaker just frustrating I can't get it to do what I would like it to with the app.
Great app with some lag, wish Harmon kardon would add the volume level and bass level so you know where it is. PLEASE ADD FEATURE.
Setup not working, asking to connect the device via Bluetooth while the device is already connected and playing
I have just bought the aura and even can't change the Bass LeveL because app is not connecting! Fix this issue!
It doesn't do anything! While I like the speaker itself (hk aura studio), if I had known beforehand how useless this app is, I wouldn't have bought the speaker.
I have the Onyx Studio 1 and the Aurora Studio. I connect via BT, but the app won't allow me to control the speaker. Isn't this the only purpose of the app?
I'm really regretting buying h/k at this point, terrible product support, seems like I should have bought that yamaha receiver instead
Like the aura studio that broke 2 weeks after purchase this app is garbage
no pairing onyx studio 1, the volume is the only thing working...

But, there is no IR support. Many times my AVR seems to have "problems in connection to home network" - one day it works great, other one it completely useless. I use the app beside of remote for the AVR170. My remote is broken, so this app is the only way to control my AVR....
