Not compatible with my cortana harman speaker no support

The latest version seems to have a conflict with the latest Android running on Samsung S8. It cannot get the speaker to connect to network and doesn't detect WPS connected speaker. My tablet running Android 4.4 works like a breeze though. Thumbs down for lack of spotify support unless we upgrade to Omni+. I'll just get Deezer instead of spending all that money *Edit* After using for a month, I realised why spotify is not supported and how much effort has been taken to include Tidal and other HiFi services like Qobuz. Great work Harman Kardon, Tidal streaming is excellent, has brought my music to life and I don't regret switching from Spotify. Changed my rating from 3 to5 star

Terrible. Loses connectivity to the speaker constantly. Deezer crashes the app constantly.. had to end up using the speaker as a pure bluetooth connex. Waste of money!!

Purchased one Omni 10+ and one Omni 20+. Attempt to connect them to my network. Router AmplifiHD HW revision 19 SW version 2.2.2. Using LG Nexus 5x Android 7.1.2. Unable to connect. By sheer luck I had on hand a Samsung Note II Android 4.4.2. I was able to connect both speakers. I am extremely surprised and disappointed with this app's incompatibility with a modern Android platform. What would I have done had my modern Android phone been the only one I had? Returned the speakers and vow to steer clear of Harman Kardon? Most likely. I would have rated zero stars if possible.

Disaster, after 3 years promising Spotify I see now that I would have to buy new speakers.. In the meantime I had to reconnect the speakers around once a week. What is worse now the app doesn't work with my old omni+adapt speakers, really disappointed and I will disencourage anyone from purchasing a H/K product, customer service is unresponsive the app a disaster.

About the time, after so many issues this time HK partialy managed with latest updates... average application, no support for Spotify but excellent speakers... 2 stars

Got the speakers for next to nothing. Now I know why: awesome speakers, horrible app support. Last two major versions of Android can't be used for setup? Wow. I love HK but ya really humped the bunk on this app. :(

Hardware ok. Spotify missing in app. Without Spotify I don't want them. :-( App stops playing mixradio after a few songs and drains battery like crazy. Still expect that all this will be solved in the coming months.

The app does not work on my cell phone, but fortunately I was able to connect my OMNI 10 speakers with my tablet. It had me update tge firmware in my speakers right away, but even after the update the rooms do not appear on my cell phone.

I think this app is awful, I wouldn't know since it never went any farther than the opening screen.

Wouldn't connect to the speakers at all. My phone can connect, so clearly it's a software malfunction.

It's difficult to wake up the speaker via wifi when it is in idle mode.

My Omni 20 is unable to connect via Bluetooth after installing tis app. Can someone help please?

Well, as plenty of others have said, the Omni series speakers are great. I have an Omni 20 hooked to a TV. I didn't want/need full surround sound in the room but wanted to improve the crappy built in TV speakers. Anyway, it's a shame that they can't get the app (or the speaker) to function correctly. I get connected and it's good until I leave the WiFi area and come back. Then the app can't detect the speaker. I either have to unplug the speaker power cord or reinstall the app to get it to connect.

Never was a great app but at least is used to work. Not it takes multiple attempts to even connect to the speaker and IF it successfully connect, it won't play any music. A worthless app ruining $1000 of speakers. Really?

When I first purchased the app it worked seemlessly. Now it won't even open so I am forced to use it through Bluetooth only. This means I cannot stream through both my speakers simultaneously and has ruined the product. Before the app started crashing I would have given this a 5 stars

Awesome sounding speaker, terrible app interface. I was forced to purchase a chromecast audio to compensate for the streaming services that H/K doesn't offer. I don't know what is taking them so long to incorporate all other music streaming services, it's been way too long.

Speakers sound great. The app is terrible. No Spotify support. Speakers disappear from the app. Bought chromecast to compensate as the app does nothing. Half the time the speakers dont recognise the jack in line. Incredibly disappointing and the app hasn't been updated in ages?

DOESN'T WORK ON ANDROID 7. After upgrading my Galaxy S7 Edge to Android 7 the app cannot find any speakers. Please fix this app immediately and solve the battery draining issue as well. Great speakers but worst possible app. Do not purchase speakers until issues solved.

Terrible app tat keeps disconnecting to WiFi network. Very unstable. The setup process frequently dun work, so you need to repeat painful process over and over again. No music fast forward or rewind functions? Seriously, tat should be a basic fundamental function for any music player/controller. Equalizer build-in will be good too. PLEASE TROUBLESHOOT AND RELEASE UPDATE ASAP!

(May 2016) the sound of my omni10 has degraded. Used to be lound and solid. Now it sounds like a cheap speaker. (Feb 2016) Setup is easy.. auto update the firmware the 1st time I load the program. Sound from Wifi is better than bluetooth. The sound from this speaker is amazing. If the app supports DLNA/UPNP then it's unbeatable.

New app is smoother and easier. Not happy that spotify is not available but hope that will be taken care of soon. Speakers are amazing with depth and bass from such a small package. Will update to 5 stars when i can use spotify, till then i'll just use amazon prime on party mode.

Got couple of omni 20. Before update it could find the speakers through wifi. Now they stay in standby mode all the time. If i want music i need to reset the speakers. So much for the idea of wifi music. Should have gone with sonos instead having to deal with this crappy app. I like the speakers, but they have to be user friendly!

For three glorious months this app (and therefore the $1000 HK system) was amazing. You could press play/pause on any of the speakers and it worked. Independent volume control from the app worked. Speakers throughout the house sync'd beautifully. It was everything I expected when I put in the system. Three months in though, and the app won't even open. "Controller has stopped". Speakers have since forgotten their settings, and I've tried everything, plus emails and reports. Totally bricked my system. Sad.

After the latest upgrade sound stops after few minutes. Only power down/up works. HK give me my speakers back!

The new version looks and handles a lot better but it quickly drains the battery. The device, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, gets really hot. Listening to local media works OK, but it stops playing after a while listening over the internet. Thinking about purchasing Sonos instead. App experience is #1.

Harman Kardon have made it so the only way you can wirelessly play CD quality or higher music on the excellent Omni speakers is through their app using music saved on your device. (Tidal HiFi is not currently supported, maxes out at 320kbps MP3 quality). Unfortunate the app is completely unusable when trying to play music saved to the device. It crashes before I can get music started. Harman Kardon should be ashamed of how poor this app is compared to the quality of the hardware.

Missing the vital functions like fast forward and rewind. Never thought that would be an issue. What is it for? For playing music in loop in McDonalds? Please, add these functions asap. There are also other bugs that I can live with.

Wow, very hard to use. Setup was easy and can play sound over one speaker when connected via BT, but no luck using link functionality. Pauses for a second but does not move to the speaker where the button was pressed. But sound is really good

This app isn't controller! Not have option for open/off on bluetooth speaker Omni 10 ( wifi not work!!) and not recognized any music source of my wireless network.I'm not interested for streaming net music.I want hear my music from my network and the speaker is connected to my pc with bluetooth in kitchen and I control only the volum with this app! And name for it is "controller"? No,is not!!!

Fails to connect to my HTC 10... Drops the settings or simply fails to stream via WiFi. No internet radio support..why not? Compared to my Bose I am very disappointed...please get this speaker working better and save the HK name
