JBL Connect

This app does nothing for my JBL Xtreme. Maybe I'm a little spoiled because of my experience with the three UE Booms I have and how good the UE Boom app is. Would have stuck with UE speakers, but they don't make anything as amazing as the Xtreme, so JBL gets a pass there.

Horrible app, as it quite simply doesn't work with the two JBL pulses I have. What's worse, I'm pretty sure this app is the only way to install updates to the speakers. I will never buy another JBL product after seeing such poor support of a core application.

m using this app with pulse 2 and every thing was good before this update bt now it doesnr conect it just keeps searching for device and cant work , fit this thanks

Does nothing. How about a better way to use party mode so every time someone touches their phone the music doesn't stop.

The app was fine before. But now that it shows me what comes in updates, I'm impressed with this app. I only have one JBL product (Flip 3) but I plan to buy another as I could use stereo modes. The app will really help with JBL Connect for the future.

Functionality is broken and useless, would be worth the struggle if you could choose the color you want displayed like the original pulse was capable of.

Only reason I have this app is in case my Charge 3 has an update. App does little else.

Does what it says but why not include volume and play/pause controls. There's no way to tell exactly what volume level the charge 3 is set to unless you max it out and then go down a little bit. Also let us turn off the boot sounds.

it's ok, doesn't do much else other than change what the phone button does and the battery level. JBL connect is useless for me as I don't have a second JBL speaker. there should be a firmware update issued so that the speaker can report to the phone itself what the battery level of the speaker is. would be really really handy instead of going into the app to check.

It's OK but should have changed tracks and talks to say battery have 4 mins play time left

The 1 star is because after the last update, the app stopped working/connecting with my charge3

Useless app, you'd think for the size of the app that you'd be able to do something with it.

Look like a colorful app but it's only use for upgrade firmware and change party to stereo mode .....

Now the Equalizer visual effect is gone again?! Pity. Like many other people I find the power on off sounds too loud. Otherwise fun light effects and great sound after I installed an EQ app to increase the highs a little. This should be a feature of the app BTW. Battery duration is good.

Basic functions like being able to Check the level of the sound, but more importantly - being able to Turn Off the speaker itself which is real incovinient when you have More Than one playing in party/ stereo mode, in this scenario also I would be convenient to have switch to remember and pair speakers to last speaker that it was paired

I would like if there is a colour grid in the app, in which you can change colour and style within the app manually. Also a option for saving new colours that we detect from prism. I still don't know how many colours do my JBL pulse 2 can show. Speakers are great, and the app should also be! Thanks Harman Inc. for such great production... I have updated my speakers many a times, but after few weeks, it forgets it's update and shows the same upgrade everytime, fix it.

Doesn't discover my Flip 3 even though it's connected to Bluetooth fine. Please get this to work and PLEASE add a feature to disable the power up and down sounds. Really....Why would you add those to the speaker? I'm thinking of returning it cos of those damn sounds.

App is extraordinarily basic and has almost no features other than to switch on the voice search. On top of that, the new 'Voice Search' option is a staticy voice that has ridiculously inconsistent volume, sometimes a whisper and others a screaming, distorted mess. Love the JBL Charge 3, but I'll think twice about adding another JBL speaker to my collection unless the software and firmware on this one get some actual development and attention.

I haven't seen any replies to the comments and reviews. I've got a flip3 myself and I'm still afraid of updating the firmware because some users say their devices died. How do I know whether it's safe now? I also agree with those who don't like the volume of the turn on/shut down sounds. There should be features to turn down or disable them. And shut down the speaker as well.

Look these is helpful for some reasons and some reasons are bad for other people but for me these is awesome! If we get these app we can combine 2 JBL and the song will come out of 2 buffs me and my cousin tried it was AWESOME! YOU SHOULD GET THESE APP IF YOU HAVE 2JBL DEVICES that's why these app is for!! These is an nice app for people! It is helping me alote!

Straight up does not work. Just stuck on "discovering speaker". I can still play music through the bluetooth connection, but this app is useless. Would have been nice to have access to update the firmware or use some of the advertised features.

I can't get passed the pair screen. I only have one speaker and it keeps insisting that I connect 2 JBL speakers together. I just want to be able to adjust the EQ and base on my speaker. I know the UE roll speakers do, might have to return this and get one of those instead.

Can you add more features, like, turning off or adjust volume of the annoying startup and operating sounds??? Even turning it off makes a big sound. Not good in the middle of the night.

It would be great to have controls and opportunity to switch the device off distantly. Please add this option to ignore all sound notifications but playing music. A very usefull thing is to have possibility to block device from unwanted users. (Password or fingerprint)

The jbl xtreme is a great speaker and wouldn't buy nothing else. However, I get a delayed response on the speaker on any media I play. I hope jbl could fix this problem. Thank you!

The app is heading in the right direction if only a few more features were added that actually require me to use it basically on a daily, I just feel like it's wasting my space due to the fact that I never use it. Wish features like on nd off were added and much more cool features

Great speaker but my only complaint is the start up and power down. Please give us an option to have the sound muted through the app. This gets annoying and it's way to loud to begin with. No need for it if the speaker has a light indicator. I shouldn't have to smother it with a blanket to keep from waking up the household.

The app does not work on Samsung Galaxy S4. The app installed successfully. When I start the app, it opens and finds my JBL Pulse2, but then the screen goes black and it appears to hang there. I have to force stop the app.

I installed the newest upgrade for the Flip 3 and it made them worse. Theyre very delayed and when I pair them the second speaker has trouble keeping up with the main one

I am able to connect to the speaker, but for some reason this app hangs at the discovering speaker portion. Tried on iPhone and android. Waste of time...

This app doesn't add any additional functions to the JBL xtreme, it needs an equalizer and ability to power down the speaker. It also needs a filmware update to address the bluetooth lag.

Your JBL, THATS ALL YOUR APP DOES!!? I returned the megaboom do to the fact of the quality being way better in sound. Text to app wise they have yall beat. I should be able to start my device with no button press. EQ were? Fail Update 2/25/17. The app still does nothing for the JBL Xtreme
