About Contraction Timer (Labor)

As a father who has witnessed childbirth, this app aims to reduce the burden placed on mothers.

Have a safe delivery and be happy~

---- Contraction Timer (Labor Tracker, pregnancy) ---

This contraction time has been designed for mothers facing childbirth to time the contractions easily.
Focus was put on exposing the contraction cycle (contraction period + intervals) which is considered to be the most important information when timing contractions.
If you have any additional suggestions or inquiries, please leave a message.

[Main features]
1. Displays the contraction cycle (contraction period + intervals) by measuring the contraction period and intervals.
2. Displays the result of contractions in a graph or list.
3. In case the average of 3 contraction cycles is within 10 minutes, “Prepare for hospitalization” message will be displayed and in case it is within 5 minutes, “Actual contractions” message will be displayed.
4. The contraction records measured previously can be checked through the menu.
5. Provides classical music to relieve tension.
6. Provides a list of things to prepare for childbirth (checklist).

[How to use] It’s quite simple~
1. Once the contractions begin, press the “Contraction start” button
2. Once the contractions stops, click the “Contraction end” button
3. Once the contractions begin again, repeat No. 1~2 for use.
4. If you press the “Reset” button, the measurements will be initialized and will automatically be saved in the History menu. (The existing measurements can be checked in the History menu.)

[How to read the graph]
1. If the Graph icon is pressed when there is a record of contraction measurements, a graph will be indicated.
2. The red bar in the graph refers to the contraction period.
3. The green bar in the graph refers to intervals.
4. The bar with the combination of the red and green refers to the cycle.
5. The red horizontal line indicated in the graph refers to “Actual contractions”.

This app helped to keep record of my wife's contractions. The moment that the app said "Hospitalization" we headed to the hospital and turned out to be correct. My wife was dilated enough that required to stay at the hospital and eventually delivered. Thank you for making this accurate and free app.

The app doesn't come back up once closed and then opened again. Not cool when you're having contractions and trying to time them. But it may work if you keep the app open.

This app was okay for a bit, then kept crashing everytime i tried to time my contractions. Very fustrating.

The contraction timer was great the music selection was even cool ... but the hospital bag list was absolutely comical ... why would you pack a coffee pot and 4 teats??!!!

Very accurate

100% accurate.. still with my 4th pregnancy i wasnt too sure on when was a good time to head to hospital. This app helped me keep track of how far apart my contractions were and how long they were lasting. Then alerted me when it was time to deliver baby.. loved it and would recommend to all. Xxx

I70%
by I####:

I started timing contractions I weren't sure if they were legit or not but they were strong. Soon it started alerting me that delivery was imminent and I should head to the hospital. I shrugged it off about 6 times and almost had my baby in the car. Should have listened! Lol! It knows!

Too much eye candy and too hard to see what matters most. You need a simple, quick interface that doesn't take any thought to navigate. This is not that app. Hospital warnings are excessive and stressful. I don't want music in the app, there are better apps for that. Packing list is ridiculous.

R70%
by R####:

The timer worked great and I like the addition of the relaxing music, but seriously the stuff to pack for hospital bag is ridiculous!! Most stuff on the list you get at the hospital. Most first time moms dont realise, you only need the bare essential.. clothes for baby, clothes for mom n dad, carseat, and baby blanket.. (but make sure you talk to your hospital about what they do provide) my hospital provides alot of what myself and baby needs.

The app is just what I need, but it often registers multiple taps when trying to start timing a contraction. This results in tiny less-than-a-second intervals and throws off the average. My husband says it probably needs to be debounced.

This app was great and easy to use. We never even tested it until we needed it and it was easy to figure out even during the stress of labor. My only suggestion would be to provide an average length of actual contractions instead of just the interval. Great app!

by W####:

Easy to use and read. I liked that it showed the averages and intervals. I did not like the constant pop ups about prep for hospital and imminent labor. That got annoying. Perhaps instead of bad on the last 3 Contractions it could be based on the 4-1-1 or 5-1-1 method depending on first or subsequent child. 4 minute intervals, lasting at least 1 minute over past hour.

by I####:

Does the job well, clear info, and the music/checklist is a nice touch. The bedside manner could use a little work though. "Prepare for hospitalization" isn't the most comforting way to put it... Good app though all around!

Just 1 problem, I accidentally pressed start-stop-start, so I had to delete that contraction. It didn't keep the count of the real rest period, it was left blank...Needs to be able to input intensity (ie. LO, MEDIUM, HIGH) in each contraction and distinguish + inform between Braxton Hicks & Real contractions, so that 1st timers can know which they are having. Also a stop button apart in case they stop completely for being false labor.

R70%
by R####:

This app is very user-friendly. Easy to start and stop the timer during contractions. I thought I would try it out today, as I am having lots of Braxton Hicks contractions, and it told me to go to the hospital. Seems if it asked for how far along I am it would have a better idea of what is really happening. Also, it stops timing if you exit out of the app between contractions. So it counted 20 seconds between contractions that were actually hours apart.

This app helped me and when it says go to the hospital,it means go to the hospital. I was in labor and delivery in 39 minutes thinks to this app, otherwise I would've had my baby at home. Thank you whoever made this app for making sure my prince Brad'Jai made it into the world safely on 02/04/2017.

Works great. Only suggestion would be to add a customizable alerts that would average the last half hour or hour instead of just the ave of the last three. Weve had on and off contractions for a couple weeks and its a little odd when the "go to the hospital" alert keeps coming up so frequently and we havent had the baby yet. Not a big deal though, just a suggestion.

Did exactly what I needed it for timing my contractions didn't use any other features but this app was very helpful in giving the hospital the info they and I needed to know

R70%

Didn't like the layout and kept pulling up an alternate screen that seemed to be blank. Need to be able to delete accidental contracts but add the time back to the previous one. Overall not that impressed.

Loved this app! Never used one for my first two pregnancies but wish I did. I labored at home for this pregnancy so it was nice to not have to time it myself using a timer.

Trying to time contractions and it's asking me to rate? No thanks. Don't recommend if you actually need accuracy.

I love this! Out of all the contraction app's I've downloaded this is the only one that I found easy to follow. I like the fact that it shows you a graph documenting the process of your contractions & is just awesome to use especially if your having a lot of braxton hicks through out your pregnancy & need reassurance if its the real deal or not

Exactly what I needed. Downloaded once contractions started n was able to use throughout the pain coz it was so simple. The guide to prompt to head to the hospital was great!

Was very helpful and accurate! My wife downloaded the app around 6am timing contractions and received multiple warnings to prepare for hospitalization, she ended up giving birth at 2pm.

Timed my contractions perfectly and told me when I should go to hospital. Also liked the soothing classical music, I had it playing at the hospital while labouring.

My husband likes the graph portion of the app but overall it's too busy, and the alerts to either get ready for hospital or go to hospital after doing a few cycle's of contractions are excessive when I know I don't need to go any time soon. Calm down a bit. Lol

It told me to get ready for hospital and it was correct! Confirmed it with the nurse and I went in and gave birth hours later! I will definitely use again in the future!

I had very irregular contractions so I was tracking up through active labor. I have home births. The messages popping up telling me to go to the hospital, call an ambulance, whatever, were so extremely irritating that I wanted someone to track down the app creators and punch them in the face for me.

Helped me out a lot because I had no idea what to do. After keeping g track of the contractions,it told me to goto the hospital.

This was such a helpful tool for Labour. Easy to use and it never crapped on us.

If you close the app it loads blank and you have to try and cancel the current cycle then cancel the cancel to get the current cycle to show up again. Garbage.

W70%

If contractions 10 mins apart, they're fake, seriously?! Mine were 20 mins apart, 5 hrs later baby was born!

G70%

It did the job. I should have listened when it said to go to the hospital but I didn't and when I got to the hospital I had labored my whole labor at home
