Great inspections app which introduced operational excellence to my company!
A little buggy on the Android app at the beginning but they have stuck with it.. and now works pretty well.. our cell service is bad and I have to teach it to 15 seasonal employees every year so ease of use is good for the end user..
I emailed them about canceling my account and didn't hear from them for several weeks. I had to email them 2 more times before a rep responded with some BS about how they responded right away but I must have missed it. I gave them a 30 day notice to cancel but since it was one day after the billing cycle they charged for an entire second month (so 60 days after my 30 day notice). I challenged them on this and was told that the billing was automatic and they can't do anything about it. They went ahead and canceled my access after 30 days so I didn't even have access to the app during the 2nd month they charged me for. I requested the contact info for her supervisor and was give the info for 3. I emailed all 3 but haven't heard anything, it's been 2 weeks and I've sent follow up emails. I requested their phone numbers and after a week the rep gave me the 1800 # I called it and got a message saying no one was available and to leave a message. At that point I gave up which is what they were probably counting on. People shouldn't have to send multiple emails and wait weeks to get a response from customer service. I don't know if it's incompetence or a conscious decision.

Crashes often making inspections too slow. Camera does not focus properly unless flash is turned on everytime a picture is taken which slows things down as well.
App keeps crashing. Very good idea just needs improvment so it will operate without the crashing issues.
In July of 2016 I was told that the ability to jump from section to section would be introduced in the Android version shortly. More than a year later and it is still not incorporated into the app. This is really frustrating and takes a super long time to scroll through a long inspection.
App crashes a lot. It dosent save your inspections a times.
I was very excited to see an app like this that would integrate with my property management software. However it is very slow and cumbersome to use. You cannot make edits on a PC back at the office. It is very "clicky" and has more than doubled my on-site inspection times. Apparently there is a new version for iOS yet I am an Android user.
I think this app has great potential. However, it is critical to be able to jump from section to section when completing a report. On my mobile phone (android), I have to scroll through endless sections rather than being able to jump directly to another section of the inspection. To avoid losing data from a crash, I often back out and save my inspections as I'm doing them but then have to scroll back through each section to get back to where I was working. I believe this function is available for Apple so wondering when it will be available for Android.
The software is great! Probably some of the best i have seen. There customer service on the other hand is horrible. I have had an issue for 3 weeks and no one will call me back to help!
We have over 25 accounts and use both android and apple devices to inspect 650 plus homes. Working with a developer helps the transition. Some of the complaints result from Self help on the free or trial periods. Once you get accustomed to making and using the forms it's a powerful tool to track and turnover rental units.i set the account up and use the app and the dash board daily. The bug fixes resolved the minor issues we had in the early stages. Talk to staff for custom deployment for best results
Need to be able to have the app allow for taking a picture and then quickly moving to the next category for the next picture. As-is the walk through goes too slow with this app.
It will not even open on my device. I've tried for days and it keeps failing.
Great app..... but I downloaded onto my Samsung galaxy tab and the app just won't open!
Any time I try to edit the layout of property while I'm conducting the inspection the app crashes. I then loose all progress. Also still do not have the option to add a signature box. This is something we absolutely NEED. I can deal with not editing the inspection template while inspecting but the signature box is essential to our process.
I've been using the app for about a year now and there are simply no negatives. These reports have increased the functionality of my property on a daily basis. More importantly though is the support team that comes with it. These guys really care about your success and are always ready to cater to whatever crazy request I have next. If you own or manage property and don't have this app, you are missing out!
I like the app, but there are some issue that serious need attention. If you fill out all the information and you refreshed it completely disappears, as soon as you fill in information it should back up once you exit the segment. that way it sync's across all platforms.
Happy Inspector App is a great app to help maintain and control the condition of the properties you own or manage. The recent integration with Buildium tips the scale in user satisfaction for me and my team.

Fixed my deleting my progress issues...still need my tennants to be able to sign off on the inspection and for some reason all my pervious inspections are not loaded to my v3 from v2...i need these previous inspections incase the tennant does not agree to damage they have done.
I rated iOS a 5 star.....Android has too many Bugs.
By the end of the most important thing is that you have any other questions or comments on my phone
Found it synced to my iPad without fuss. Minor changes would be great but will not stop me using it. Long time user of iPad version, hoping you can implement changes to Android as quickly as you do iPad.

I love it on the iPad and can set up each of our units but I want to use my phone to take pics and do the actual walk through. The edits on iPad to the template do not synch with my android phone, although I have the app and am logged into the same account. When I click on the help it just brings up an email with a subject line but no address to send it): I would pay money for this to work but sadly it doesn't do what I need.

I love the layout and I love that it doesn't chew up my data because I can inspect then upload back at the office. Great work happy co
