Well, I used to absolutely love this app and recommended it to everyone, but since last update, doesn't seem to work anymore. Can't get messages, news feed doesn't fully load. Have to retype what I write about 4 times on posts and msgs before it will take it. Seems one minute works next minute broken. Idk what happened but I hope there's a way to fix it. Seems to keep getting bugs. Really liked the convenience when it worked but Sheeshkabobs...Make it stable all the way around!

Works great in many aspects all the stuff I want to use it for. Small size and easy on battery life. Having a strange issue with posted videos automatically sliding in from the right constantly when on my timeline. I have to back out of the app altogether to get it to stop. Makes using my timeline almost impossible but I'm sure this is just a bug.

Great app, saves the battery a lot compared to stock Facebook. Only problem is loading times, the first initial load is fine, but once you go to load the comments of a post or scroll to the bottom of a page it takes a very long time to load the new content. Another issue is commenting, when I go to comment on a picture or post, after hitting the "submit" button, the comment submits, but it stays in the text box as if it weren't posted. You have to refresh the page to see the change done. Other than these two issues, the app is great. Would love a fix for these soon though, especially for a paid app it should have a more seamless experience.

Not a bad app. Definitely has the full features of web FB. Very lightweight due to being just a wrapper for the web app, so that's good. However, left/right swipes do not work to switch pages. Just something I've noticed. It's also quite laggy on my phone, probably due to its memory usage? Other than that, pretty good!

Facebook are resolute in theirdesire to make it nigh on impossible to access their service via anything other than their app. Recently I've experienced very unreliable notifications that won't disappear when read/actioned. I notice the exact same issue whenusing mobile chrome and can only presume it's the same issue. Had torevert to the original app as I need FB for work.

The app is amazing and doesn't wear down your phone with Ram or background stuff. The only issue/question I have is that when it comes to messages, I have everything synced to go off every 5 minutes but there are times I either don't get notified or its alot later. Any solution?

Hi. Something is going on with this app. It was fine 10h ago today. But now when I open it, only thing I see on my News Feed is this: See stories from friends and family here in your News Feed.Start by connecting with your friends on Facebook. My friends are there, messages, timeline is fine, but News Feed is not showing anything. Tried clearing cache, data, reinstall... Still ni News Feed.

After a few months, disappointed with photo and video uploading capabilities. Wants to only upload 3 photos, and doesn't want to upload videos, but my phone shoots 4k. Takes forever to load the pics at that. Video says 100% for ever, then give error message. Tried to share NBC or Yahoo, gives error message about only sharing links. Doesnt drain battery like Fb, but has limitations

I had the free version prior to buying the paid version. To be honest the free version performed a lot better. When I make comments to post they never appear. I have to post twice. The features and themes are nice. Overall I'm satisfied. Just for the fact I recovered a great deal of space in my phone just by installing this app and deleting the Facebook and Messenger apps.

My Samsung Tab 4 no longer supports Facebook. I have followed all advice to install-even resetting my tablet. I am so glad I found Swipe as it works exactly like Facebook, in fact even better! I was happy to support the developers by purchasing the pro version. This app is updated and well maintained.

However, in a world where you're an asocial psychopath if you don't use this awful social network, this app almost makes it tolerable. You'll save battery life, receive only the notifications that you want and keep Zuckerberg away from your phone's camera, GPS and mic. What's not to love? Well, the social network, itself. Now all you have to do is untag yourself from posts and remove annoying people from your friend list.

When I comment on another person's post it doesn't show up. If I comment on my status it doesn't show up. Making a new status works. Can't share posts to groups... This keeps happening. Thinking about finding another app because this is frustrating. After a few weeks of this problem, I'm moving on to another app. I've been using fb in my browser and I'm tired of it.

LG LS770 + Android 6.0 + 6.2.3. Was great. Now ultra slow, dismisses text input, constant refreshing, sometimes just doesn't load regardless of signal strength or time waiting. Several emails, requests, complaints, ideas, no reply ever. PLEASE add separate options to turn off pull down refresh & all refreshing. Please add "copy link url" to comments page or better yet allow choosing of image functions on comments page in options, I'd like to bypass viewer & have copy link + share link on comments page.

This is a great alternative to Facebook's own app. The developer is incredibly responsive to user requests and helpful when there is an issue. This may be the best Facebook client on Android! Thanks for making it! Changing the Messenger setting to user agent fixed Messenger issues as suggested by the developer in a previous review. I love this app so much and constantly recommend it to others.

Probably my favorite Facebook wrapper. Love the look and feel, and haven't noticed any bugs. The only thing I don't like is that I have to go to the top of the feed and then refresh. I would love to see a refresh button that also took you to the top of the feed. It could go in the FAB and then it would be perfect.

They've just lost there way recently. Used to be a great app, but something must've happened with the compatibility between them and Facebook. The app is slow, and I'd rather just load the web page in my browser which is now better than Swipe.

Great alternative to the official app. It uses much less battery, doubles as Facebook Messenger, and has a button to save pictures easily. I haven't figured out if notifications for messenger may be received yet. We all know that the official Messager sucks the life out of a phone's battery.

Very convenient, small, responsive and alot of features over the official Facebook app which makes it seem that it has alot of customization over the original allthough it's not quite as smooth and fluid as the official Facebook app. My only gripe is I can't seem to tag people in posts. Maybe I don't know how to? But typing their name doesn't seem to be working. I'll raise to 5 once I get this resolved.

This was the best FB alternative, and with no real impact in battery life, I loved this app. The last month or so, this app has slowed down to a crawl - I've no idea what has changed, but I'm using the browser version of FB again, until this app goes back to the stable speeds I was used to (running on S7)

Every time you follow a link to a web page, when you close it your feed is gone and resets back to the top, losing your place. Really annoying. OK so this only happens way down the feed so it's taking up more memory but then it should be swapped out to disk rather than being flushed from RAM. I have 2GB of memory which ought to be plenty.

Love the fact this has a large font option (experimental) and the fact it works on everything, not just the post content when it feels like it (unlike the official FB app which has appalling accessibility). Thankyou for thinking of those with low vision! The whole set up is great. Dropped one star because if you use the experimental large font option it makes all menus unusable due to overlapping borders/text, for example, I can't send messages because it's impossible to see the friend list. I do understand this is experimental - but to sort it would make it the perfect app!

This used to be a great alternative to the official Facebook app since that app uses a lot of battery. But now it's horrible. It takes forever to load comments, even more just to load a picture. Comments will be double uploaded. Horrible. Good thing I paid for this when it was on sale. And even if it was again, I wouldn't recommend this all at ALL.

I previously loved this app. Gave it a five star rating. Since the last update, it's unusable. Videos random play, every time you get rid of them they decide to reload, half the time I type something and submit it it doesn't save. It's not functional at all any more, which is a pity because it was a great app. I emailed the developer about the video problem a few days ago, never got any response or inclination he was working on it, which was disappointing, as the consistent activity of the developer had been one of the great upsides to the app. I'm hopeful it gets turned around and I can transform this back into a five star review, but at the moment it's functionally unusable

I really used to like this app but now I'm afraid it's been abandonsd. There used to be quite an active community on Google+ but the developer doesn't even show up there any longer. Even my error reports go unacknowledged. It uses quite a bit of memory at times and video loading is very slow.

And really worth the upgrade; even if only because the Google Plus mode is great at giving you more visible room when scrolling down a page. Anyway, the way this dev works at crushing bugs and enabling feedback deserves both commendation AND support!

Lags constantly while typing. Feels very unstable, like a low-effort wrapper around a browser. Even Tinfoil is better. Finally uninstalled when it started crashing randomly. Not worth $5. Sad!

When posting url previews won't load.... Posted replies are not always displayed without refreshing.... Some replies never post at all. This app is Borked borked borked!!! And the dev doesn't respond to emails or reviews here.....

Much wanted after the latest battery drain glitch. Ever since Facebook announced that there was a glitch on their server that caused that massive battery drain, I instantly uninstalled their apps. Not only has Facebook and Messenger been a massive battery drain constantly, but also a wakelock hog, and this app is the best solution. No more controlling my battery for Facebook.

I love this app very much. I love that I can set the G+ layout. The only thing that bugs me is that it's sluggish. Not to the point where it's bad but it does make the experience weird. I'm sure speed will be amped in future updates. Keep up the good work!

I'm really impressed with this app! It's nice to see improvements and enhancements pop up periodically. Love the UI and speed. My only observation is that the new window to load comments seems slow. Thank you!

I had the free version of this app and just upgraded. Holy cow, this version looks so much better! I love it! Only big caveat is that whenever I look at a post, picture, or comment that takes me off the main feed, the feed refreshes back to the top when I go back. Super annoying!

Why is it when I reply in a message it lets me type one letter and then just messes up?? It's really frustrating and makes it unusable

It's a great app overall, but the key feature I wanted to use from this app was the messenger integration. It's frustrating because every time I get a notification for a new message and tap the notification, it gives me an error. The app gives me a "Content not found" and I have to exit that screen and tap the messenger icon on the top right to reload it. Otherwise it works as intended.

I loved this app but since update 6.2.3 or 6.2.2 I have not been able to launch the app at all. I have tried rebooting my phone and uninstalling and reinstalling the app but it crashes everytime. I will try some other methods to get it to work before I change my review.

Its way slow as compared to official app.. i wanted to give up Facebook official and try something light but this isn't as smooth as fb on google chrome.. better use fb on chrome this doesn't update on real time and always buffering whike loading... Recently tried downloading video but its not even playing via swipe pro

Was great but seems to have been abandoned by the developer. One huge bug makes it unusable - it automatically plays videos fullscreen and you can't exit them without closing the app. I hope development starts up again because this used to be the best Facebook client ever.

Best alternative of facebook app. Previous issues resolved, one more thing i would like to see is the photo albums scroll. The issue i am having is even unable to open the album having for example 10 pics. Kindly work on that.

Used to be pretty nice, but it's agonizingly slow to do anything. Even typing, you see it slowly enter one character at a time long after you're done typing the word. Posting does not seem to work recently. I think changes to Facebook may have broken it.

App is pretty buggy, right now anytime I go to a friend's page or any page that has videos it will automatically keep trying to play the videos and eventually it won't let you back out of it. Getting old very fast. App used to get updates weekly..I haven't seen one in a while now.

Really liked this app initially... But as Facebook changed their code, this app began to become more buggy. Swipe is currently not usable until Dev catches up.
