Magnifier & Microscope [Cozy]

Tried using this other microscope apps & so far I like this one the best. Improvement areas would be 2 have the camera setting in an easier spot on your screen 2 select especially when holding a phone. The 4x zoom sucks bcuz it moves the object around, making it virtually useless. However, Ive taken some excellent close-up shots. Experiment with it & u likely will b pleased also. No pop-up ads makes it even better.

a very handy tool. i am almost blind but can still use a magnifier. i use talkback on my android phone, and it is very thrustrated if buttons and graphics are not labeled. can't tell what the button does. secondly rather than having all the controles scattered around the screen, why not put them in a menu that pop-up if you tap on the screen. the sliders is so difficult to use that it takes up most of the time to get them. rather use choose option from menu and then pinch. after a user defind setting default back to zoom when pinching. the use of making the screen negative is very usefull for i cannot see black on white. a menu with the options will make the magnifier much quicker and easier to use. but very thanks for the program. hope you can make it easier to use.

THANK YOU to all involved in providing an app that goes above and beyond just a magnifier app. I've been using this app for over a year and this app has NEVER let me down and never fails to amuse me. Its my go to app before I even pull my camera. The HD quality I know depends on the device but it seems like, comparatively, other photography apps w/HD don't look as good this developers. The MB storage space is so small SOoo I recommend to y'all try it and see that I'm right this app and its dvlprs ROCK IT!

Downloaded onto my S6 because of the great reviews. It focuses slightly closer than my standard camera on the phone, but other than that, it uses digital zoom which pixel pixelates in the same way as the zoom on the phone camera. You may be better off taking the photo at standard resolution and cropping it

Gave it only 4 stars only because I would have to design it myself to give it 5. Great app. Had no idea my phone could be capable of doing this that well. I needed a app To Help me get splinters out of my hand and fingers. Works great for that.

Took a little getting used to, but works well. I've found that using the torch/flash option really helps with focusing when taking macros. A manual focus slide would be awesome & options to change photo res.

Using this app im able to take closer and clearer macro pic using my mobile. ... Note: ..pics do not delete when pressing delete button, if you can fix this would be fantastic. Cheers.

The screen is a big blur much of the time, and it's hard to maneuver. When I could get it to look decent, it was only in focus at the bottom of the screen, but not anywhere else. I had to position the main subject at the bottom. Also, it's real slow to respond, on the screen. Great idea, but needs tweaks.

Not done learning it yet but I already know this... the pictures I take with the help of this app would not exist without it... especially in dark areas without the camera light that usually messes up as much as it helps. Makes OK pictures great. Thank you, Hantor !

I had problems getting closeups with my 24 Megapixel smartphone camera, this great app solved it. Thanks, keep up the good work. I would buy the pro version (add free).

As someone who normally cant be bothered to rate any of the apps i use, the fact that im writing this at all should speak volumes. Wether you are grossing yourself out zooming in on aracnids and insects or plucking a splinter out of your frail human wrapping, this app kikz azz!

This is a great tool. Magnifies, lights up, and takes pictures. Only draw back is the slow shutter time - you have to wait about a second for the camera to finish. But it's far better than the competitors.

I've always used my phone camera when I need a quick magnifier, but when i need to read a lot of small type, the constant hunting of the autofocus makes it next to impossible, especially in low light. By setting the app to manual focus mode, I can just tap the screen where i want it to focus... it focuses and stays focused at that distance, making it work much more like a real magnifying glass. Plus it takes great macro photos. Really handy app!

This app makes my phone camera actually focus on teeny things. I used it to *clearly* decipher jeweler's marks, when the phone camera alone simply could not hold focus. I've used it to remove splinters too!

You may find it a bit difficult to focus if you do not have a really steady hand, otherwise I found it to be just perfect to take a picture of a bug or a blooming flower

The auto-refocus on this is great. Great detail, even for the tiniest thing. Zoomed on something less than a millimeter long. I could still see the bumps and grooves. I could see someone using this to find a splinter.

I saw this moth come into my house so I wanted to see what it really looks like because I was scared to go real close and see so I got this awesome app to let me so how this moth looks and it worked! I love this app

I have tried a lot of macro/microscope apps and this one far exceed its competition. Beautiful clear closeups of coins. I need that to sell them. Cant say enough good about this app.

Love this app, it's very useful. I've been having some difficulty seeing fine print lately, so using the magnifier and light together, really helps me out.

I have a Samsung 6s and the camera is remarkable an uncontested. The zoom on the camera just itself is pretty good but when I got this app I didn't know how good it could go. this app really does work, I got good eyesight but looking at the back of a lottery scratcher from at least six feet away using this app I can see clearly what the rules say on back of the ticket. I just wish they had a little bit more features with this app and the focus was a bit better. I highly recommend this app.

Bought the full version but found I liked the free version better. Not sure why. Maybe the extra stuff with paid version uses more resources but the free seemed clearer ...might just be my phone though. Using free version at this writing

Using for a research project. Works pretty well. Sometimes the focus is finicky. Sometimes the hue of the photo is off, but otherwise good

This app has turned any down time I have into photo shoot time. Virtually any place you go is filled with photo opportunities!

I really love this app, I could not get along with out it . I'm running it on a note 5 phone. I have to chuckle sometimes, I show my grandkids stuff up close and they are just amazed and at that time grandma's the shiznit.

As our eyes don't see so well with age this app really helps in seeing things that are beyond their capabilites.

Not sure if it has a manual focus adjustment or not.

Its great. When it can focus. Unfortunately often it seems to have ADD and would rather focus on the clover that's in the background and the corner of the screen than the flower I'm trying to take a macro photo of. Please add a manual focus I can adjust with a slider

Amazing App! Only thing I would like to see added is the ability to use voice shutter to snap pictures. I would love to be able to say "cheese " or "snap" to take pictures. This feature would make this a 5+ rating

My 8 mp cam was crappy cus I cant take my bug pics. Now its clear as crystal.

Does close to nothing a normal zoom won't. No idea why most people would use this. It can be usefull to invert colours - I guess?!

@ 6-8x your fingerprint takes on a completely different look...holding still is very hard to do. Can see exact entrance of a sliver..it too can look nothing like human eye sees. .... think your hands are clean? Guess again! :-)

I have macular degeneration. This makes things much simpler. Now all l have to do is to learn how to use it properly...

Fantastic results, great focus and capture, stunning clarity! Love the app! Only small issue is slow processing of captured images.

It works out for what I need it to be

The stock nexus camera is terrible for macro shots, this is great for macro and it allows you to use the full capabilities of the camera.

All it does is digitally zoom in on images, kind of obvious really anyway, you'd be better taking the photo using the normal camera app at minimal focal length. Then digitally zooming in after, that way you'd have a sharper clearer image
