Z+ Music

Not impressed. Tried with Audio Technica M50x headphones. The 3d demo is OK, but the music is merely stereo, with some extreme widening.

Not usable for SD card music bad experince

All has been tried already with to speakers. i.e. stereo.. Loudness in iTunes and Wow in Windows nedia player...

If you switch phones you'll lose all your files and they refuse to offer multiple downloads like most respected companies. Avoid.

Good soundtracks , but listenning to the music on the phone's music player is superior. 1 star for z+ music player 4stars for the soundtracks .

If you like Zimmers music this is a must have.

Every day since this score's release I checked the market for this app, and everyday, nothing... Until last night. Having purchased the digital copy, since no one carries hard copies in-store anymore, I didn't have the code for the tracks, but didn't care - excitedly I was rdy and willing to buy them all over again for the experience. Floored by the tutorial, I got my c.c. rdy; then came the sample track ignition - long story short, I didn't purchase any tracks; power amp played the score much better.

Installed the app, then downloaded all the songs with code that came with Man of Steel Steelbook Ultimate CD. Wow, all I can say is...WOW! Sounds incredible! Shutting off the DTS and turning back on, I can really experience the difference. Thank you for this incredible listening experience!

I used the app on my friend iphone and it worked perfect but the app will not recognize my headphones on my android device. If there is a fix I would like to know.

There should be an option to use this as a music player not with music you gotta pay for rip off

The one included track is music only. It does not demonstrate how surround works using DTS Headphone X, at least not in any close to obvious way. The tutorial virtual speaker demo shows no advantage over Dolby Headphone or other surround virtualization. Last but not least, do they really expect people to pay for tracks in a tech demo?

Unable to restore the album on my Galaxy Note 3. Sent a few emails to support but haven't gotten a response yet...

I have tried this on 6 of my over-ear headphones, 3 In-Ear-Monitors and line out to active studio monitor speakers. And in my ears, this "DTS Headphone" is nothing but a distortion of sound. The texture of the sound produced in DTS mode is thin and rough, and the position of the physical elements are very unclear. I will have to say this whole thing is a marketing idea and has little to do with the improvement of sound.

The app works fine. No issues downloading the music. However, when in DTS mode the headphones have a constant crackling sound. When DTS is off crackling goes away but music doesn't sound as good. The apps purpose is the DTS feature. Shame it doesn't work correctly. Its not my headphones because it only happens when DTS mode is on.

"you’ll get to experience...the music as.. intended" - Simply Not True In the description, Hans Zimmer supposedly says "With the Z+ app, you’ll get to experience what it’s like to sit in my personal studio, and listen to the music as it was intended". I would say only if it is intended for the music to be over compressed and be punctuated by repeated clicks - and this is on a supported device. Further, you cannot transfer purchases to another device (or backup/restore). In effect, the developers appear to want you to treat this as a rental until you next install/change your device. The customer support is non-existent - they just do not respond. All a shame as the speaker demo is impressive.

Demo looks great but it won't accept my legitimate code... one star for now. Emailed their support... ***UPDATE 1*** 1 week later and no answer from email support. now facing a new issue, I tried to buy one track within the app without sufficient funds in my prepaid CC and received a "failed purchase" error message. It popped up every few minutes. Extremely annoying! Even though I eventually bought the track today the same error message keeps popping up every few minutes. AAARRRGGGHHHH! ***UPDATE 2*** after 1 week finally support wrote back with a new redeem code that worked. thanks, just can't understand why it takes >1 week to respond. about the purchase error message, i resolved it myself using some suggestions online.

Sorry, not impressed. I liked the demo of the speaker placement, crazy. But regular music player works fine. Uninstalling.

I will never sit in front of my TV with a headset, but, we can see where this is going. I was totally blown away. Kept looking behind me for hidden speakers.

Sent 3 e-mails asking for support on restoring purchases and have yet to hear anything back. Totally sucks that I can't use this anymore just because I upgraded my phone and this lousy company can't stand by their products. Thanks for nothing, Z+!

There was a lot of crackling and distortion when playing the man of steel music. The demo sound was outstanding.

If you like Zimmers music this is a must have.

Z+ is a great app. The Man of Steel Soundtrack is AWESOME!!!! In addition their customer service is very nice. Thanks again. ^_^
